I booked with Lynn for an engagement photo shoot because I was looking for an MUA who has experience with Asian features and Lynn was spectacular. She's not only an amazing MUA, but she is also just a lovely person in general, and so fun to talk to. She made me feel at ease in her makeup chair, and the whole process really just flew by. At the time she was planning her own wedding and was incredibly chilling and more than happy to share any vendor and tip recommendations. For the trial I decided to do it for my engagement shots. I decided on doing air brush make-up as Lynn has recommended it since it was lighter, more natural, and would hold longer. I got to share a number of Pinterest albums with her so she could see the kind of hair and make-up I wanted. The trial for my engagement photos turned out well and I learned what I liked and what I didn't. The day of the wedding she arrived a lot earlier to make sure she was set up on-time so we would be on schedule. I decided to do the hot set for my mom and mother in law. My mother-in-law rarely does make-up and I was a bit concerned at how it would go. Lynn was so accommodating and gave her such a natural look it was great. My mom on the other hand wanted the whole works and loved bold and popping make-up. Lynn totally made that happen and so much more. Their hair and make-up turned out so well. I am currently a college freshman who didn't have the slightest clue about makeup or skincare until a few weeks ago. What to say? Booking Lynn for my wedding day makeup was hands down THE best decision I made during wedding planning. I spent hours (and I mean HOURS) trying to decide who to book. Wedding makeup is one of the most important decisions a bride has to make after all, right? Well, I am SO happy I booked Lynn. I would honestly book her all over again if I could--she was, by and far, my favorite vendor. First off, Lynn is the kindest, sweetest person. It was so easy to talk to her during my trial and on the day of my wedding; honestly, talking to her really felt like talking to an old friend. She is very down to earth, and was also very receptive to any feedback I had for her after my trial, which I really appreciated. Lynn addressed any questions, concerns, or changes I had after my trial (of which there were very few) right away and the overall look she created for me ended up being absolutely perfect. The time and effort Lynn puts into creating her looks was evident to me during my time working with her. Months before my wedding, Lynn asked me several questions about the look I was hoping for, what my usual makeup/hair routine is, and also for inspiration photos and photos of both my daily and going-out makeup looks. From there, she suggested possible ideas and routes we could go down, and we went back and forth until we settled on a look. Honestly, there wasn't too much back and forth in this case though because she seemed to understand what I was looking for very quickly. The whole process was very collaborative though and, again, Lynn was very receptive to my wishes. Lynn did both my hair and makeup, and I truly felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I have a ton of really thick Asian hair, so it was important to me that I invest in someone who could knock it out of the park for my wedding, and Lynn totally did that I had Lynn come to my place for bridal hair this past weekend and she came on time, set up quickly, knew exactly how to replicate the Pinterest picture I sent her the night before and my hair stayed intact for the entire day. She also was just an absolute joy to hang out with. Her calm and pleasant demeanor is exactly what a bride needs the day of her wedding. Lynn did my bridal hair and make up. She was very organized and very easy to talk to. I did a destination wedding, so I was quite concerned about how my hair would hold up in Hawaii as I have very curly hair. Lynn was very receptive to any changes I wanted to make and accommodating for my trials. She also figured out best way to place my bridal hair jewelry as I am Indian. My hair and make up turned out fantastic and looked fresh even 10 hours later! From the very beginning, when I first reached out to her, she has been wonderful, responsive, professional, patient and so sweet. I must've emailed her a million times, and she answered all of my questions. She is very experienced and so personable. She listened to what I wanted and provided helpful feedback every time. On my wedding day, she made my makeup flawless. It was everything I asked for and more! The cherry on top is her sweet demeanor. She calmed me down when she saw I was overly nervous about being the center-of-attention at my wedding. LYNN was truly exceptional. We had a trial and consulted through follow up emails about the look I wanted to achieve. She was always on top of her emails. Because I was having an indian wedding I was hesitant about having such dramatic makeup. However, Lynn gave me great feed back and exceeded my expectations on my wedding and reception day. I am so glad I found this website when I was bored on the train. I was looking for hair/makeup but the prices in San Francisco were all close to $600 and up. I was already a stressed bride and was about to just give up and do my own or have a friend do it when I came across Lynn's profile. I am from out of town having a SF destination wedding so I made a trip out to finalize all the last minute details and had a trial run with Lynn. She is extremely sweet (and patient, considering we had to move all my bridesmaids appointments around because they were all late in one way or another). During the trial she showed me a couple different versions of hair styles and didn't seem to rush at all. She spent a lot of time listening and I felt 100%comfortable with her. My friend and I went out for dinner and drinks after my trial and I kept getting compliments on my Facebook pictures from that night about my hair and makeup (she even got me to try a dark lip-which I am definitely not used to but now love!) I was very nervous picking things out for our wedding from so far away but his was the best choice I made. She arranged for fellow stylists to come help the day of our wedding since we had a large group of people who wanted hair and/or makeup. I would highly recommend her. Super affordable but her results look better than the artists who quoting me twice as much. Everyone wants their wedding day to be just perfect, and Lynn helped make mine exactly that. She's every bride's dream! I found Lynn on yelp and booked her for a hair and makeup trial that coincided with my engagement photo shoot, as well as for my actual wedding day. From the initial contact and all throughout my experience, Lynn was quick to respond, professional, accommodating, and 100% focused on what I needed. Lynn had me share a pinterest board with her so she could get a feel for what I wanted my hair to look like. But not being someone who likes to fuss with my hair or use much makeup at all, I didn't really have a vision and was pretty nervous about everything. All for nothing! When I met Lynn for the first time at my trial, it was like hanging out with someone I've known forever. She was friendly, patiently offered suggestions, and listened to what I thought. We figured out a wedding look that would help me feel natural and like "myself," my long hair in an updo and secured so I wouldn't have to hassle with it. She then thoughtfully offered to take my hair down and style it another way for my engagement shoot so that it would be different from my wedding photos. I sent her photos of how my makeup looked about 6 hours later and also some engagement photos when I got them, and Lynn recommended a few adjustments to my makeup for the actual wedding day. I got married in the morning, so Lynn arrived at my hotel room a little earlier than 6:30 AM to set up. She was super relaxed and cheerful, which helped ease my nerves. Everything went smoothly, and she graciously helped my mom and bridesmaids with their final touches like finishing a hairdo, flower placement, etc. Even when I had a huge setback with the fashion tape I had with me (it wasn't sticking well), Lynn found some in her trunk and helped me get everything in place so I was ready in time. She left a touch-up kit for me, too. My wedding day was sunny, HOT, and so emotional! I think the tears were already rolling down my cheeks by the time I got to the altar and I just couldn't stop after that. At some point, the tears started mixing with sweat -- lol, I was a hot mess! But you would NOT be able to tell from photos, even the closeup ones, all because of Lynn's magical touch. Working with Lynn and her team for my wedding was awesome!! I worked with Lynn for organization (she was so responsive, professional and all around pleasant to work with), May for my make-up and Andy for my hair. I'm so happy I chose this team! I was a little worried at the make-up trial because, while May did an excellent job giving me what I asked for, I realized my requests weren't really working for me. After talking with Lynn and May they were able to interpreted what I wanted and did a fantastic job at the wedding. I don't usually wear make-up so I didn't want to feel over done or unnatural and they were really able to meet my needs while doing great makeup for pictures. Andy did a truly beautiful job with my hair and it held up the whole day/night (even through some heavy dancing :)). All of my bridesmaids were also sooo happy with their hair and make-up with this crew. I did a fair amount of price shopping for hair/make-up and Lynn's team was really reasonable for the area. They also had no minimum (some places require a certain number of other people to make it worth the trip) which was really great because it gave us some flexibility. I'm glad that makeup artist cancelled because I was very pleased to work with Lynn. I had the pleasure of having Lynn do my makeup for our wedding day this past January. Lynn did an absolutely amazing job as the hair and make up artist for my wedding. Due to visa issues, I had to have two weddings--a tiny City Hall ceremony (where Lynn did hair and make up for just me and my mom) and a bigger party a few months later (where Lynn did hair and make up for me, both moms, and my sister in law). Lynn was absolutely amazing both times, and the results were gorgeous. Most importantly, she made my now husband's sister and mother feel super at ease throughout, which was incredibly important since neither of them were used to wearing make up.
