Lynn did an absolutely amazing job as the hair and make up artist for my wedding. Due to visa issues, I had to have two weddings--a tiny City Hall ceremony (where Lynn did hair and make up for just me and my mom) and a bigger party a few months later (where Lynn did hair and make up for me, both moms, and my sister in law). Lynn was absolutely amazing both times, and the results were gorgeous. Most importantly, she made my now husband's sister and mother feel super at ease throughout, which was incredibly important since neither of them were used to wearing make up. Everyone was blown away by how great they looked and how nice and friendly Lynn was. Highly recommended! read more

Lynn is SO professional and perfectly captured my wedding day look. I am so grateful to have found a makeup artist who was able to do a natural yet glam look for my wedding day. She responds so quickly to emails and keeps you updated (I don't know how she does it!). She was so sweet and has such a great heart. She also kept to the schedule so we didn't have any problems with timing on the day of. My bridesmaids and I raved on how well she did her work. I had no problems with my updo or makeup throughout the day and my bridesmaids as well. I HIGHLY recommend that you do a hair and makeup trial then do a photoshoot after. I felt that it really helped to know how the makeup will wear on you throughout the day so there won't be any unforeseen mishaps on the day of. You also get some really great photos! During my trial run Lynn realized that my eyeliner transferred to the top of my lid, so we were able to fix it on the day of the wedding day to have a thinner line and more lashes and I had no problems on the day of. read more

Lynn was spectacular. I am the groom, no make up for me (though maybe I should have had some). My wife had a flawless experience with Lynn. She was incredibly responsive to all the emails, somehow juggled communication from myself (budget) and from my wife. She was also going through a move right when we had scheduled our trials and was more than accommodating coming to us with all her gear. Last minute we asked Lynn to provide makeup for my wife's mother and it came out wonderfully. My wife's mom is not the kind of person who does much make up herself but I have to say, and guests would agree, that she looked stunning in addition to the bride. read more

Lynn is amazing, professional, prompt and knows her stuff, she did my hair and make-up for my wedding on Oct 1. During the trial she gave me some great advice for my dry skin and recommendations for some good moisturizers. I was also worried about my freckles looking too faded or weird under make-up and she talked me through different options and the make-up was done wonderfully. I looked like an enhanced version of myself, everything was so natural and the hair was absolutely perfect. I had my hair and make-up done in the morning and it lasted all day. Lynn is also just fun to talk to! You're sitting in that chair for about two hours and it was like having one of my friends do my hair and make-up. She's wonderful (insert so many more great adjectives here)!! I highly recommend her for wedding's and anything else you need! read more

I am so happy to have chosen Lynn as my makeup artist for my wedding. Starting from the first email, she was always super quick to respond and was very helpful and detailed in all her responses and helped me with more than just my makeup/hair questions. She was very thorough in the preparation prior to the trial/wedding day which helped alleviate any concerns leading up to the big day. This was especially important to me as I wasn't able to visit the island until the week of the wedding for a trial. She is extremely talented, knowledgeable and detail-oriented and created such a beautiful, refined and natural look which was important to me as someone who doesn't usually wear much makeup. She was extremely flexible with her time the week of the wedding and worked around my busy schedule to fit in a trial. Overall I was super happy with my makeup and hair and very glad I chose Lynn. She was absolutely lovely, so kind and such a wonderful addition to my wedding day. I had a ton of fun on both the trial day and the morning of my wedding day! Not only is she very talented, but she is also such a sweet person and easy to get along with. I absolutely recommend her and am sad that she's all the way in Hawaii! Thanks so much Lynn :)! read more

She listened and calmly answered any and all questions/concerns. She was totally receptive to what I was looking for and definitely delivered the natural makeup look and sleek hair I wanted. Lynn is such a delight! She did wedding hair for myself, seven bridesmaids, and the moms. She is so sweet and such a calming energy to have during the get-ready process. She is able to do what every bride hopes for - take a picture on pinterest and make the same magic happen in your hair. I changed my mind regarding the style several times leading up to the event (including the day of) but Lynn wasn't fazed and executed perfectly. My hair held the whole night and it was really intricate and beautiful. The bridesmaids and moms looked stunning as well, featuring a mix of updos and simple, chic curls. I cannot express how grateful and blessed I am to have met Lynn. She was the ONLY hair/makeup artist who happily agreed to grab coffee and chat with me while I was visiting Hawaii. Other artists replied saying that it's not customary to meet up until the trial or the day-of the wedding. As an out-of-state bride, I really wanted to meet with potential vendors in person to see if we connected before my husband and I officially booked their services. From the initial exchanges to the actual day-of our wedding, Lynn was professional, punctual, and overall such a joy to work with the entire year. She helped me with not just all the hair/makeup concerns I had, but also with any non-related wedding planning questions as well. She genuinely really cares and always made me feel like I was her most important client. Lynn was such an important part of our wedding. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life and it was because of her magic touch. My hair and makeup lasted the whole day through the strong Hawaiian winds and non-stop crying - we started really early in the morning too. Even when I asked for a change the day-of, she was extremely accommodating. I received TONS of compliments about my look. My husband and I got some preview photos from our wedding photographer and they perfectly reflect how amazing Lynn is at what she does. Lynn also did my mom's hair/makeup and my husband's facial grooming/makeup/hair. Her assistants, who were just as personable and talented as Lynn, did my mom-in-law's and bridesmaids' hair/makeup. Everyone looked their best and I can't thank Lynn enough. read more

Lynn is a true delight to work with. She is the sweetest person and a true professional. Not to mention she is extremely talented and knows her stuff! She is prompt to respond and clear with her communication. She did a wonderful trial run which I used for our engagement photoshoot. She asked for feedback and remembered exactly what I liked. On the day of my wedding, she arrived early and got along well with all the bridesmaids and mothers. I didn't have to worry once about Lynn, she was that dependable. The makeup was flawless, everyone was impressed! It can be difficult to get Asian makeup right, but she did it perfectly. She uses an airbrush technique which made our skin look flawless. My and all the girls' makeup & hair stayed put all night through the happy tears and dancing. I was so worried my makeup would smear or my falsies fall off with the tears but they stayed in place! To anyone looking for someone to make you look your best and leave out the stress, book Lynn. She is truly the best. read more

Easy and pleasant to work with! On the wedding day, I felt really comfortable hanging out with Lynn as everyone was having their make up done. I also had a few trials as I was trying to get my make up look just right! I really liked the air brush feel and look. My mom and aunt who are older, also got airbrush, and Lynn was able to put them at ease throughout the process ,as it was their first airbrush. They looked absolutely beautiful, and the make up was perfect for their age. I was very happy with my look and felt confident on my wedding day, and loved not to worry about make up smearing, etc. And, it still looked great towards the end of the night! read more

I want to give Lynn a million stars. Lynn was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding last year (yes, this review is long overdue!), and she is AMAZING at her job -- super talented, patient and professional -- and beyond that, she's just the sweetest person! I seriously felt so lucky to find her. Lynn did my hair and makeup for both my engagement session and wedding (as well as two trials!). I loved the engagement and bridal makeup looks that we ultimately chose together -- I felt like the absolute best version of myself. I still felt and looked like ME (and NOT some weird, cake-y, photoshopped, unrecognizable version of myself. That was important to me.) She really listened to me and gave such good advice about what she thought would flatter me and would work best with my hair, skin tone, etc. And despite my pushback sometimes, she was right every time... I even started a hashtag dedicated to her: #ListenToLynn. She did makeup for three of my bridesmaids as well, and they all LOVED their makeup looks. Also, of all of my wedding vendors, Lynn was by far the most organized and responsive. She is the absolute best -- both in her artistry and as a businesswoman -- and I'm so grateful to her for making me look and feel beautiful on my big day! read more

If you're looking for your hair and makeup artist for your wedding or any special occasion look no further, Lynn is the very best! She was so easy to work with and always quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to my wedding day. I had a trial with her before my engagement photo shoot and I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but she took my inspiration photos and created the perfect natural glam I was looking for. She also asked to see photos from the shoot and used those to make some adjustments for the wedding day. I didn't think it was possible, but my glam for the wedding looked even better and was absolutely perfect! Lynn also did my mom's makeup and did an amazing job with her too. It meant so much to me that she made not just me, but also my mom feel special and beautiful for my wedding day. She's also very thoughtful and since she knew I love the color pink, she even brought pink under eye patches for me to use while she was styling my hair! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and it lasted well all day and night even with the humidity and my occasional happy tear ups throughout the day. Lynn is not only great at hair and makeup, she is a sweet and kind person that's easy to talk to and helped me to relax and enjoy the day. I can't thank Lynn enough! read more

I had my wedding in Oahi just a few weeks ago and i booked Lynn just out of photos and reviews. First of all, she is the most organized and quick responder out of all my over seas vendors. She is so sweet and so professional. We had my make up trial the day before and I was so happy with how it went. She was very gentle and so easy to talk to. She did a couple hair styles and went easy on the make up for the natural look i was looking for. I had an underwater photoshoot that day and the makeup stayed on very well given the conditions. On wedding day, she arrived promptly and everything went according to schedule. Everything held up for the 16 hrs + day. Thanks Lynn for an awesome job, definitely recommend her for any bride! read more

If I could give Lynn six stars I would. She is just amazing. I had a 3 day Indian wedding and she did my makeup and hair for one day and makeup for myself, MIL, mom and bridesmaids on my wedding and reception day (the first day I did myself). From the start, Lynn was very easy to communicate with and was super organized and efficient. She takes your feedback and incorporates them into your look , is very flexible and stands apart from many of the other wedding vendors I had to work with. I was very picky with who I selected for my makeup and wanted a very natural look. I tried about 5 artists and selected Lynn, because she her work made me feel special while looking like myself. Many of the guests complimented my makeup and it stayed on for the entire duration of my hot wedding day in the East Bay (through the long Indian ceremony and the reception ~ 12 hours). She brought along Teresa Song who did my South Indian braid better than any artist in India could :-) Overall enjoyed working with these two and would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Lynn is an absolute pleasure to work with- she has a great personality and did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I needed a makeup artist for a recent photoshoot session for professional portraits. She not only promptly responded to emails but was also very detailed in creating a vision with me for the desired look (both hair and makeup). She also provided guidelines for preparing my skin and hair prior the session (which helped a lot as it was a new experience for me). The session itself was relaxing and enjoyable. She made me feel very comfortable and checked in with me throughout to ensure I felt happy with the details of my look. The final look was exactly what I had hoped for - natural but bronzed makeup with a soft and slightly volumnized up-do. The look turned out well in my photos as well. read more

Lynn did my make-up for my wedding in May! From the trial to the actual wedding day, she was amazing to work with. At my trial, I loved my make-up but was a little unsure about how I wanted my hair. I think Lynn could tell I was nervous so she offered to do another hair trial for free - this way I felt super comfortable on my wedding day. Beyond her make-up and hair skills, Lynn was super professional. She hired girls to do my bridesmaid and mom's hair/make-up and everyone looked beautiful! read more

Lynn is amazing, five stars are not enough! Having Lynn as our wedding makeup artist was a wonderful experience. Her work was impeccable, and it was great fun working with her both planning for and on the day of the wedding. I still feel bad about making her work around our impossible wedding schedule, but she was the consummate professional, skilled artisan, and we were so lucky to have her! We were never a couple that was big on makeup, but having her show us how astoundingly transformative it can be is something we'll never forget. Thank you, Lynn, for making our perfect day just that: perfect. read more

I am so glad that I chose to work with Lynn for my August 2016 wedding! She was truly a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. In particular, she was by far the most responsive vendor I worked with - and always very professional and friendly in her communication. Lynn is very patient, and she was willing to go above and beyond to make sure that I had the best possible experience. For example, during my trial, she showed me several different variations of my hair style and helped me find a look that I loved. On my wedding day, Lynn was on time (early, in fact!) and had a wonderful calming presence. My bridesmaids and I really enjoyed working with her. Thanks again for doing such a fabulous job, Lynn!! read more

I used Lynn's makeup services for my wedding in Hawaii and she was wonderful to work with. I did my trial with Lynn two months before my wedding. Makeup is not part of my daily routine and so I didn't have strong opinions about my look going into the trial. She has a very professional yet easy going personality and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. We worked together to create a look I was happy with and she was gracious with her suggestions about what she thought would work best for me and my personal style. Scheduling and coordinating with Lynn for the day of the wedding was a breeze. She responded quickly, if not immediately to my emails, and worked with my planner and hair stylist to develop a schedule. On the day of the wedding Lynn arrived on time, knew our schedule and stuck to it! She incorporated everything we talked about in the trial and did a fantastic job creating my look. Her professionalism and personality made this a painless process and I will definitely hire her again for other special occasions and refer her to friends! read more

Amazing makeup artist! Lynn did my makeup for my April wedding, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Lynn did an amazing job during my wedding week. I was lucky enough to have her for 3 of my events including the wedding. She made herself available in the weeks leading up to the weekend of her services for makeup and hair ideas. After showing her each of my outfits, she was able to propose a few appropriate looks. Each day she executed a unique look that allowed me to look and feel my best. She did such an amazing job for each event that I was worried I wouldn't be able to top my previous looks with her for my actual wedding day. Though somehow she nailed it! It really was the most beautiful I have ever looked and I am certain it is thanks to Lynn's artwork. Not to mention, she is great to get ready with for your special events because she is so kind and calm...also, her skin is one of the world's wonders--how is it so nice? read more

I can't thank Lynn enough for her great makeup and hairstyling skills on my wedding day. Lynn is amazing! My daughter is a model and we hired Lynn to do her make-up and hair during photo shoot that took several hours. The photo shoot required that my daughter have a specific makeup look, three different hair styles, along with several clothing changes. Lynn pulled it off flawlessly. Lynn also accompanied my daughter during the entire shoot making the necessary hair and makeup changes along with helping with clothing adjustments. Lynn worked seamlessly through the process of the day. Lynn accomplished an incredible amount, was very flexible, and was positive and upbeat the entire time. Shortly after the shoot, I hired Lynn to give me a makeup lesson so that I could do my daughter's makeup in the event we didn't have access to a makeup artist for any upcoming shoots. I was very impressed with Lynn's knowledge about skincare, products, and techniques. I received excellent instruction from Lynn, which she followed up with a written version of the lesson along with helpful links. On top of the amazingness I described, Lynn is incredibly professional and nice -- a true pleasure to work with. We are looking forward to hiring Lynn again for future shoots. read more

I found Lynn thanks to Yelp which was a life saver as I live in New Zealand and I was having a destination wedding in San Francisco. She is so kind and down to earth it made the process so easy. I sent Lynn pictures from pinterest to give her an idea of what look I would like and she nailed it. I had a trial with Lynn the day before my wedding which went perfectly, and she recreated the exact look the very next day. She really goes out of her way to accommodate her clients and even made time to do my hair and makeup, on short notice, for my bridal shower in between my trial and wedding dates. I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about Lynn! First of all she used to work in accounting so she's super responsive and professional. While looking for vendors, I found that many were somewhat flaky and unresponsive but Lynn is definitely on top of her game. She always responded within 24 hours even to my frantic last minute questions. On the day of, she was right on time with her assistant Teresa and the two of them were extremely efficient. I've been in a lot of weddings and this was the first time that hair/makeup finished not only on time, but early. I also annoyingly switched up my hairstyle a little the morning of the wedding and she was very accommodating and rolled with the change. They stayed all day to do touch-ups for everyone and gave us all little touch-up kits to use for the rest of the night. She also took cute pics of us getting ready and emailed them to me after which was very appreciated. I also felt that she used very high quality materials since a lot of us had sensitive skin.
