I was pressured into getting gel because the same staff member Grace said she didn't want to do the deep French tip I originally requested with regular polish in case she had to redo it. I also experienced inconsistent and conflicting information about what services were available, I was told certain standard options like a pink gel base or brow shaping were not available. As someone who has been to this salon multiple times and works in the mall, this experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. The way I was monitored and spoken to raised serious concerns for me about unfair and potentially discriminatory treatment. Due to this experience, I will also be escalating this matter to mall management for further review.
