This is my 2nd time ever getting lashes. My first impression as I walked into the studio was that it's very bright and clean. It is a rather small studio, with 4 tables ready for use. I got the C-curl, with a mix of 11-12 mm length and 0.15mm thickness. This place was different from the last place that I went to because they let you also choose thickness of the lash-- I thought that was nifty. Shao Hua Liu was my eyelash technician, he was very nice. I asked him to put on music and he put on such calming music that I almost fell asleep. I would give the overall experience a 3.5/5. -0.5 because it didn't seem like they changed the paper that I lied on top of when he did my lashes (I was early to my appointment and he just did not change the paper from the last client)... and it took about 2 hours to do my lashes, which imo is a bit long. read more

I went to this location 9 days ago. It is small l, but clean. Very relaxing atmosphere and decent prices. I got b-curl in 11,12,13mm. They look very natural but still make a dramatic impact on my face without looking heavy and I have received many compliments. Most of the lashes are still in place one week later. I plan to return for a two week refill. My only qualm would be that there isn't a portfolio book to see what you want and what the lashes would like that. For newbies this can be very frustrating. They take close to two hours to complete your extensions. Ain't nobody in NYC got time for that. Some places take as short as 30 mins and do a wonderful job, so I'm confused as to why they take so long (they might just be newer technicians who are not as skilled). Next, the fan is supposed to be used after both eyes are done so the noise doesn't wake up the customer. They used the fan after one eye was done which woke me up, and then took another 45 mins to finish the other eye. Basically was lying on the bed for close to an hour fidgeting, waiting for them to finish. The prices are very reasonable so that's a plus but they can't be spending two hours on each customer - not sustainable. read more

Pretty good, the staff is friendly and honors appointments in a timely manner. The studio is small but clean with 3-4 technicians. I picked up a Groupon for a full set and a two week re-fill and the lashes lasted the whole two weeks and I am getting ready to go for a refill. My eyelashes came out nicely and full without irritation (but I have been getting my eyelashes done on and off for 2-3 years so I am used to it). I've had my lashes done about two times before this. I seen this deal on livingsocial for a full set & a two week refill. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of when I first got them done because I was rushing around all that day and week. But here I am about to go get my refill two weeks later and I still have a decent amount of lashes hanging on. And that's good because I was on vacation in salt water getting it on my face for 4 days straight. Not to mention getting them wet in the shower & washing my face etc.. not too shabby. I got the full set of lash extensions and just after 12 hours the lashes started falling off. It's been two weeks now and there's only a few lashes hanging on. This is probably the worst lash job I've gotten in a while. I left one star because the service is decent - the staff was really nice but it seems like they're a bit new? The technician had a habit of leaning on the eye that she just completed while trying to work on the other eye. So I'm not surprised that they all fell off quick. What I liked even more was the PRICE! I'm no rookie to the false lash game as I've been going to a place not to far from here paying way more money. Apon arriving the staff was friendly , I was greeted as soon as I walked into the studio and asked my name. I gave her my name and she told me to have a seat and fill out a form. The form were basic questions name , address, how did you hear about them, any allergies etc. after the form was filled she asked me if Ive had my lashes done before which I stated I did. She showed me a paper which had the different lengths, styles and thickness of lashes to choose from .. I went with the cat eye style 11-13mm .15 thickness 120 lashes. She told me that it would take 1 hr which actually it took 2 ‍. Angela was my lash tech, she took her tyme doing my lashes and during the process made sure I was okay and comfortable. After everything was finished I was very pleased with what I saw. My lashes look natural and they were the perfect look! I would definitely come back to this place and get my lashes done.... now to see how they hold up on vacation in the Bahamas Also I was able to apply the yelp $10 off check in on top of their 50% off promotion.. I first came here with a Groupon in March 2018. I paid an extra $20 for eclipse lashes (the flat ones). It was worth it, they felt like nothing, looked great, and could have lasted probably 2 months without a touch up. Because I loved them so much I wanted to come back here to get a touch up but the company had changed hands since then, and their phone number has changed. So I went in physically to make an appointment (the phone number here is correct now). The previous owner really knew her lashes then would tell the techs what to do... The new owner is just more of a salesman. The tech I had didn't know what eclipes lashes were and didn't think they had it but another tech was going to get it while she prepped me first. There progress was comfortable, the lashes looked great but I had a feeling they weren't eclipse but the tech didn't say anything and the extra $20 was still added to my bill. It been a couple days now and I'm sure they were normal extensions. They are heavier, they fall out at the normal rate, take longer to dry, they get turned upside down easier, and in general you feel them more. For the people that have always gotten normal extensions this is normal, and don't get me wrong they still look good 1 week after touch up, you need to be careful and brush out your lashes day and night (something I never had to do with eclipse lashes as the don't flip upside-down). But I've been spoiled by higher quality lashes for the same price at the same establishment. They are not bad but not great. I'll be getting my lashes done else where. read more

Do not go there, do not waste your money, your nerves or time. I just walked out of I Love Lash extremely disappointed and upset. I wasted my day by commuting into midtown. First, after the first time I got them done most of my eyelashes fell out right away. I called them two days later and was offered to come and get them fixed free of charge. I have gotten eyelashes before and the technician that did them the first time made them really crunchy with glue (used too much glue) the second time a different employee fixed them, they were fine. I called this week to make an appointment for a new set/refill the gentleman on the phone said it's going to be 50 dollars. I said ok, I have a 50 percent off card. The card was given to me the first time and it clearly says 50 % off all The prices on the back. So I came in today the girl at the front counter tells me that's it's 79 and it's not 50% off while on the computer she had up in the notes it's said $50. And she acted all confused and wouldn't pull the screen up. The lashes aren't that great, rather buying a coupon from Groupon buy it from Maison de lash or any other eyelash spots.
