Got 12 mm mascara mink Studio was clean and gave me makeup remover before the service (I made a spontaneous decision to get my lashes done for the first time). I used the first time cash discount and got mink lashes to look more natural and they lasted me a whole month looking pretty full before needing a refill, despite me going through bereavement and crying constantly! I live in California so I can't get them refilled but highly recommend this place to anyone - while they've started to fall out, I can see my natural lashes and they don't look very damaged like I had feared. I took pretty good care of them and didn't rub my eyes including only splashing water on them to wash them. Also the session was only 1 hour which I heard was pretty fast compared to some other places. Hidden on the 10th floor of a building, Pink Lash had a quiet but calming atmosphere. It's great for people who already know what lash styles suit them, but it was my first time getting extensions. When you walk in and sign in, you'll tell the front desk what style you want (i.e. natural, mascara, glam, anime) and the lengths of the lashes. They will write down everything on a note, which they give to the lash artist. There's not really a consultation with the lash artist herself, since she just takes the note and starts right away. If you can, try to find an opportunity to show your artist any reference pictures to make sure you are getting the right style and lash mapping. While my extensions looked fine, they looked nothing like the reference picture I had, so I regret not confirming the style with the lash artist beforehand. The price is certainly cheaper than other places, especially if you pay in cash and with a first time discount. The whole procedure also took an hour, and they were very gentle. Worst service ever!! Don't waste your money and go there! This place has become a scam!! I have been going to them for years and never had any issues until recently. Erica who used to be there always did a fantastic job with my lashes, the last two times and especially today when I went it was such a horrific experience. The technician who did my lashes didn't do my full set that I paid $153 for. I got there 10 minutes late due to mta delays, so once she finished I looked in the mirror and told her this isn't a full set, first she goes oh you were late... I'm like ok and?? Then she goes oh it is full set, and got extremely rude with me. I do the same set everytime and I can see the big difference! They refused to give me some money back and insisted I wait an hr or come back another day, it took me two hours to get there, why would I wait when I have to go back to work and make another trip back?? I understand I was late but I texted them and told them. There has been plenty of times where I was on time and they were behind and I waited . I never made a fuss. I am behind furious with the service I received and the manager refuses to call Me back or give me a partial Refund! This is the service they provide for a customer who's been going there for years?? And I sent them so many of my friends and family as referrals. I will never go back there again! I suggest you guys don't go back either. I work hard for my money and they just ripped me off ??? COVID-19 EXPERIENCE: I've been to Pink Lash before and it was great. However, I went today after reading on their website about how safe the environment would be with the all of the staff would be wearing face shields, masks, and gloves. However, once I arrived the three staff members were not wearing face shields or gloves (including the technicians). Once my technician began doing my eyelashes I thought that she would put on gloves, but no. She proceeded to do my eyelashes with no gloves or face shield. This is extremely concerning to me because of the close proximity her fingers were to my eyes. I was tense the entire appointment, anxious about how safe this was. I mean if they aren't abiding by that part of their safety precautions...how can anyone trust the other safety precautions they claim to be doing. Once my eyelashes were done, I spoke to the woman at the front desk about my concern and she could only say that they sanitize their hands and there was nothing she could do. Upset, I reluctantly pay AND tip my technician who wasn't wearing gloves. Then, she had the audacity to complain about how much I tipped her. The lady at the front desk then asked if I had a credit card to tip more. When I said I didn't have a card on me they asked for my venmo. The persistence was insane and it felt like I was being harassed and ganged up on. Are you serious? After being told on the website that face shields and gloves would be worn and not receiving those services (putting me and every customer in jeopardy...) I was appalled by the rude service. Since my long term lash girl was no longer working I had to find somewhere new and tried Pink Lash. Quite cold and unfriendly from the call to make an appointment, and upon arrival, and meeting my lash technician. You decide everything with the front desk girl but for the "style" what I prefer was not on the chart and I wanted to discuss with the technician. I picked the Mascara set and the extra thick option for extra $10 since I thought that was closer to the lashes I'd been getting for years. I arrived with quite a bit of 3 week+ old lashes from a previous studio and anticipated to be there for at least 1.5 hour. She finished within 45 minutes which was great since I hate being stuck unable to do anything but close my eyes however I felt a lot of burning from the glue seeping into my eye throughout my session and I teared up quite a bit. Upon initital inspection she achieved the open eyed style that I like with a mix of 3 lengths and I promptly paid and left. During the days that passed I realized I'd never go back to this studio. The quality of their lashes paled in comparison to what I've been accustomed to for years. They're very thick and hard and I've never had so many lashes curl downwards that grew out poorly. I was constantly brushing to tame them which is not normal for me. There were a lot that were clumsily glued to my skin and a few that layered three extensions on a single natural lash, which is too heavy. I would recommend booking with a technician that you like. For whoever I get consistently on weekends was very rude. One of the times, I had lash lift and came in to get extensions. When the tech looked, I could tell there were frustrations and said "how am I going to do this?" in Korean (I don't think she knew I understood basic Korean). I had an appointment last Friday, 01/24 with Erica. It was my first time ever getting lash extensions done. The receptionist quickly went through the after care, and suggested whether a C or J curl would work best for me. I came in and took advantage of the new client special ($50 for a natural set). The natural set includes 90 lashes per eye. I decided on upgrading to premium lashes ($10 more). The receptionist explained that these are thinner and much more natural looking. After figuring out the curl shape, length and style of application (cat eye, natural, rounded, etc.), I was introduced to Erica. The whole process was relaxing, I was planning on taking a nap. But because this was my first lash extension experience, I couldn't exactly relax. The overall lash application was pain free. I did feel minor tugging and mild stinging, but it didn't last for too long. The whole application process took just about an hour. Note that application times do vary on how many lashes are requested. It has been four days since my application. So far, only one lash fell out in the shower. At the beginning of the appointment I was asked what curl, length, and style I wanted. Since it was my first time, the receptionist recommended a J curl 2-3mm longer than my natural lashes in the natural style. The appointment went smoothly and I fell asleep during the 1 hour appointment. I had no issues with the glue until the very end when a little bit got into my left eye and stung for about 10 minutes. I was expecting the lashes to last only 2-3 weeks but as you can see from my photos there are still a good number left after 6 weeks!
