WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. i am sad bc i think they actually do a nice job w a natural pink eye look and even do a 7% discount w cash. however THERE IS SOMETHING SO SHADY ABOUT THIS PLACE. on my second time coming, they accused of me not paying tip during the first visit. (i always pay tip, usually 18%+ and ad someone whose parents came from the service industry i take this very seriously.) i told them i paid via venmo, and asked to look up the handle of who i could have sent it to, and they couldn't even name the venmo handle. then when i offered to directly pay my aestheticians from the first time who allegedly didn't receive the tip, the receptionist told me "great we will hold onto this and check what went wrong to see if this needs to be passed along" long winded -- 1) i am writing this for public accountability that anybody who goes here doesn't experience this 2) to make sure their aestheticians have been properly passed their tip, especially if they don't have a very good tracking system also finally, when i received the final bill, they did math wrong and i was charged more bc they didn't include a promotion i had just talked to them about 1 minute prior. oh yea, and they didn't even offer to give me the change back when i paid (it was only 20 cents but still, i think it goes to continue to make me believe they are in the business of ripping customers off) something weird is going on here. . read more

Ever since I got my first lashes done in 2009, I tried many, at least 8 to 9 different eyelash salons before I first came to Lash Forever. Now I've been getting my lashes done ONLY at Lash Forever for several years. They are just so good, and I never feel like to go elsewhere! :) These people definitely know what they're doing. The front desk staffs are always welcoming, super thorough and helpful. The lash artists here are absolutely top notch and extremely detail-oriented in their job. Also I like how they always keep the place so clean and sanitary. My lashes usually last over a month even without touch up, but of course they gradually become more "natural" from after 2wks, so I usually come back in every 2 or 3 weeks for fresh fills. I always try to request some specific artists to get consistent result that I'd like to achieve, but even when my favorite artists weren't available, other artists I had so far were all skillful! :) I consider myself quite picky about my lashes but Lash Forever never failed to satisfy my needs, and I've never had any issue with them. I've never gotten lash extensions done before, mainly out of fear that they'd look too unnatural and how it would potentially affect my actual lashes, but the staff at Lash Forever really took their time explaining everything to me and going over what would look best for my eye shape. I showed them a few reference photos and we decided on the C curl lashes, 9, 10, and 11mm length, in a round shape. I'm horribly indecisive so I was in between the 80 lash per eye vs. 100 lash per eye - they were so kind as to offer doing the 80 first, letting me check how it looks, and deciding if I wanted to add the 20 additional lashes to each eye (spoiler alert: the 80 lash was still beautiful but I ended up going for the full 100 to account for potential fallout). Disclaimer: I came at a very quiet time during a weekday so I think they were a bit more accommodating. My lash tech, Cindy, was so nice and patient and I highly recommend her. I'm quite fidgety and my eyelids tend to tremble when I keep them closed for prolonged periods of time, but Cindy was a pro and paused/maneuvered around my movements. I ended up paying around $92 with the promo (before tip) which is a pretty great deal for high quality lash extensions in NYC. This is concerning, though, because I wasn't supposed to like these so much! Realistically, I'll probably only get lash extensions whenever I want to look extra put together for a special occasion or vacation, but when the time comes, you bet I'll be coming back to Cindy at Lash Forever! read more

If I were to rate my experience based on my visit alone I would've given it 5 stars. I went because their first time visit advertised 50% off plus a free mink upgrade and boy do I love a good deal. The girl at the front desk was quite welcoming and helpful and my technician seemed to be decently knowledgeable about my particular eye shape and what eyelashes were a best match for me (J shape vs C shape, size, etc.). The technician definitely took her time as well-I was there for an hour and half but it was so relaxing I managed to doze off (and I can never fall asleep in public places). Afterwards they took the time to make sure I was okay with the final look...I felt like my lashes could've been more dramatic/looked more obvious but it did elevate my natural lashes, and I guess that's as good as it gets. However, I don't know what it was but the lashes just wouldn't stay. I followed their aftercare instructions to the tee, but after 4 days half my lashes were gone. Pretty disappointing. They were pretty much all gone a week later. Also the lashes would curl in weird conflicting directions even when I tried to gently comb it...yeah...not cute. Updating my review to 5stars because of excellent customer service. I got a touch up done and they said my lashes were particularly slippery which caused the glue to come off more easily. Ladies, if you have a hard time getting ur lashes to stay up with eyelash curlers, make sure to tell your lash specialist!! They will use extra glue and take extra time to make sure it stays on. It took 1.5hrs to get a new set but none have fallen off since then and I am so happy w them! ---------- I got my first ever lash extensions from here because I was tired of putting on eyeliner. I personally don't like it when eyelash extensions look fake and Suzy does a great job giving me long, noticeable, natural looking lashes. But the ladies here work really hard to take the proper steps to ensure the safety of their customers and their staff: hand sanitizer everywhere, mandatory hand washing, temperature checks, contact tracing forms, shields, masks, the works. After trying a few sketchy places from Groupon, I experienced eye irritation, pain, messy and short-lasting results and a lot of my own lashes falling out. The staff always confirms with you the service that you want and explains specifics to the technician. The ambience of the rooms are calming and luxurious. The technicians are also really accommodating, gentle and professional. I get really scared about things going near my eyes but I felt relaxed every time. I've also never experienced a painful or irritating session yet. Post-process, the staff always asks how the session went and if I experienced any discomfort. The results have never come out messy and the lashes last much longer than other places. I rarely wear makeup for weeks after because they come out great. Also, the bathrooms!! So clean and stocked with everything from eye makeup removal to contact solution to lotion. LOVE this place. They have amazing deals for first timers as well as long-term customers.
