For your first visit they give you 20% off. I had mentioned to my lash tech that I like a little more of a dramatic look and she had suggested the volume day. I think I could have done the volume night but I loved how fluffy the lashes were. Minus one star for how long the lashes lasted. Three weeks in 95% of the lashes were gone. I did my lashes here last month, the lashes are pretty nice but they should be as they are japanese quality lashes. However they texted me telling me give them gratuity. When i already tipped and told them before leaving. I thought it was extremely rude that they would ask a customer for tip(Even though i already paid the tech tip). I've been here twice, once this summer and then once again this morning. (I'm not 100% certain but I believe that It's me in the picture posted on July 13.) Both experiences have been fantastic. Lashes are light and non irritating and it's easy to fall asleep in the comfy chairs in this quiet salon. The ladies that work here are super knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I'm not a big mascara user and had no clue people paid attention to eyelashes but the first time I had them done people were complementing me on my eyes and eyelashes left and right. Yet, everyone was completely surprised to find out they were extensions. They lasted for a little over a month and when they did start to fall I didn't really notice. I got the new costumer deal. Meg couldn't be better at her job, the only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is because it's been a week and my lashes are falling out slowing. Keep in mind I have never done that before but for $120 w out a discount, I feel lashes in general, are to fall out??? So if you're an experienced lash costumer, maybe that's okay? For me it is not. I have followed the paper slip recommendations as to what to do and not to do. My only Fault being I sleep with a pillow over my head at night. Again, I am very disappointed. I was finally able to make a follow up appointment this Wednesday at 4PM. I already adjusted my schedule according to this odd time. Now the trainee canceled on me even though she sent the confirmation to my phone. I wasn't even asked and she blamed that I did not understand her situation. My point was, when I needed a follow up appointment, she did not responded to my text message, not answering my phone call, so I felt she is not being responsible. Because I went there to get the lashes done. She does not think about her action at all, and blame on me, and I was also told to read good eyelash extension or bad extension. My first eyelash extension experience and I can say unequivocally that they did an excellent job!! I was nervous that the extensions would be too obvious or extreme, and they turned out so well. I went initially for just 50 lashes and then decided the next day to add 30 more on each side. Both appointments the women who worked on me were efficient, patient and on time. I got my first lash extensions done here about 2 and a half weeks ago. My lashes came out beautiful! I opted for a more natural look, doing 60/60 lashes with a 'sexy' curve. 2 weeks out and while a number of lashes have obviously naturally fallen out, they don't look trashy like other lash jobs. The experience itself was ok. The salon is great - peaceful and relaxing. The application of the lashes was very gentle, however I was very uncomfortable on the chair they use. Today I had a spontaneous moment and decided to get eyelash extension. I was in the area after a haircut nearby, I decided to read the reviews here on yelp and saw some wonderful reviews, so I said why not. I saw also they had a special here 80/80 for $89. So I gave them a call around 12 noon the nice young lady said she had availability at 1pm. I said ok I'll just hang out for a little while in the area. 10 minutes later she calls back and says she is open for 12:30 a client was finishing up so I went and was warmly greeted. Then taken to a room with a table and 2 chairs, it was a comfortable environment, it was clean. The young lady Hiro was super nice in helping me choose what I want. So we decided to try 60/60 cateye c curl. I thought it was nice but very natural I wanted a little more dramatic so we did an extra 20= 80/80, Hiro was very nice about it and did it with no problem. I am beyond satisfied with the customer service and the actual service. It only last about an hour. I will be going back to do a touch up. It was a good service but now that they all fall off, I realized that she cut my a few pieces of my original lashes ( i know it was cut because the it was short and the end of the lash was obviously cut off). I hate this place. The receptionist is rude and does not know what service is. The customer loyalty system is so so bad. You pay $20 to be a member. They do not agree to keep your member card, you have to keep it by yourself. If you lose your membership card, you'll have to pay the whole fee to become a member again, whereas YoshieEyelash surely has your membership info on file. I dont see the difference between having your info on file versus bringing a physical membership card for the receptionist to verify you are a member. I even verify that information with the receptionist, and I gave her advise on how to improve their loyalty program, but she did not take my advise into consideration, and ignored my thought. I actually forgot to bring my membership card, and I found it hilarious when the receptionist told me that she will let it go this one time, she basically forgive me from not bringing my card. I felt like I am a student and I was doing a wrong thing. Moreover, I am paying them to provide me excellent service with a high price. Plus, the receptionist accidentally broke the expensive candle which I just bought, and she did not apologize to me sincerely. She also did not offer me a compensation on the broken candle, or any promotion for my future visit. That was one of my worst day ever. I still feel sad right now. I surely will not visit this place ever again. Even though the eyelash technicians are great, the eyelashes are decent quality, but with the customer loyalty and service like that, I am not interested in coming back. Moreover, I paid a high price for the lash service here. I don't think it is worth it, at all. Don't visit this place if you want to be treated as lady and gentleman. This was my first time doing lash extensions, and I was extremely pleased with the results; was looking for a natural look. My lash specialist was Hiro, and she started the service off with a 10-min consultation on my lash preferences. We ended up going with a 60-lash, 9/10/11 length, C-curl. The entire session took almost an hour: it felt clean, painless, and comfortable. It's been two weeks - I haven't used any eye make up aside from eye shadows, and fall-out has been minimal (dropped less than 10 lashes). They also offer touch ups at a discount, with two weeks having the biggest discount and then getting incremental for the third and fourth weeks. Will come back for my next sesh :) read more
