I got them in September, now it's March, and they look great! I came in with the request to have very feathery realistic, not-makeup style brows like the girls on Love Island lol all those perfectly spaced individual hairs -- not as bushy as Huda's, but more like Sierra's. The delulu is not my fault, though. I didn't know what magic was or was not possible with aesthetics.... Katie was very honest about what approach would work with my skin and quantity/placement of eyebrow hair -- a combination of powder brows with nano hairs was better for me. The first time, it didn't take. She did it all over again with a different needle. Katie said I have thicker skin (hmph who knew) plus at the tail of my brow is very thick -- acne scarring perhaps? Aside from my Love Island eyebrow fantasy, more important was what I wanted to avoid: harsh, boxy, brows that I would look harsh when barefaced. Katie came up with a plan that was best for me, taking my preferences into consideration, rather than satisfying exactly what I wanted, which would have become muddy down the road. And she explained everything to make sure I was comfortable. So yes, I do highly recommend brows with Katie, especially if you are highly sensitive. The office is clean, she is gentle and precise, she gives you 100% of her attention, and she plays relaxing music.

Her studio is clean, tidy, neat and decorated very nicely. It's got a grounded, minimalistic vibe. I arrived 10 minutes prior my appointment time and we got started right away as there were no clients before me. I told Aiko that I wanted it to look natural, and not too curly. She told me with my monolids, she suggests a curl a bit more than I was originally expecting. I trusted her and am happy she offered her expertise experience because it shows that she really understands the needs of each customer based on their eye shape and eye lids as well. The entire experience was amazing. The studio has such good energy (I literally can't explain it but you feel so good the minute you walk in). Aiko was so gentle, and it was so relaxing that I kept drifting in and out of consciousness. You could also just tell Aiko cares a lot about what she does. The studio truly lives up to its name -- it's a cozy, intimate space with just one bed, making it feel very personal and relaxing. I had my service done by Satomi, who was warm, professional, gentle, and made me feel at ease right away. I was initially a bit unsure, as she's older and I wondered if that might affect the precision of the treatment, but she proved me wrong -- she did a lovely job! She asked if I had any allergies before we started and recommended that black tint would be best for me. Took a lash nap and when I woke up, voilà! -- My lashes now look like my lashes but better -- lifted, darker, and more defined without looking overdone. She said it should last 6-7 weeks. I'm happy to not have to wear mascara and to take a break from extensions. *BUT* I did notice that a few lashes on my left eye near the outer corner were missed, but it wasn't a major issue and didn't take away too much from the overall look. Making an appointment was pretty easy; I just texted them the date & time I wanted, gave them the Groupon code, and confirmed a few details with them. You can also schedule the appointment on their website. They did tell me there would be a $10 fee for lash supplies which I found very strange. If I'm getting this through Groupon, I don't think it's fair to pay something additional aside from tip. Anyway, once I checked in and aligned on the lash design I wanted, my lash technician began right away. The space is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The whole process took about 1 hour & 15 minutes; slightly longer than other lash spots I've been to but it seemed that she was very attentive to detail of my lashes. I love how they turned out and hopefully they last for a few weeks! All in, I paid about half of what normal price would be which is a good deal. The lady on the phone explained to me that the Natural Lashes are typically J curls and 11mm in length. Since I usually do C curls, she recommended the Glamour Lash Set instead. I paid a $30 deposit as this is a requirement in case you no-show or cancel within 24 hour notice and paid the remaining balance of $70 via Zelle after getting my lashes done. Note: if you pay with credit card, you will have taxes & fees added so make sure to bring cash or use Zelle. Also, tip is only via cash so come prepared. My lash technician, Lola, did a great job! My lashes have more volume and still look natural, but just more enhanced. She also has such a light touch (either that or I was super tired) because I definitely fell asleep for a bit. I didn't have any stinging or eye pain either. Good try; will definitely consider coming back if this set lasts long!
