Okay. So basically just don't go here. I saw Judy and one they do your lashes in under 45min, RED FLAG. 2. Once my eye started to swell I called back to see if they can fix it and instead of offering to redo it they said "we will just remove them" after I paid for a new set. 3. So I let my lashes grow out and went back for a refill and a day after my appointment I lost so many lashes and again I called back and they told me it was my fault and that my lashes are thin.... LET ME SAY THIS. I've gotten lashes for years. A natural set with a cateye. Simple! We had a consultation before the service and she told me my lashes were perfect for the mink but now I have thin lashes..... In a nutshell do not go here. Go to NYC LASH BAR. See Emma. They are more affordable. Lashes stay on perfectly and you get a full 80min session. read more

UPDATE It's been 2.5 weeks and I have 10 lashes left in each eye... --------------------------------------------------------- First time here. My friend had been coming here for quite some time and get lashes look amazing! The reception was very friendly and the technician was nice. I mainly fell asleep for most of it. Woke up from a few occasional poking on one side of my eye. (Not painful tho) She also told me that they use "real glue" which meant that there are no chemicals, but may not last as long. Overall experience was good. And I'll update my review if my lashes start to fall off earlier than expected. read more

Groupon buyers beware!! I first found this place through googling eyelash extension places near k-town and saw they had good reviews and scheduled an appointment. Later on in the week, after I already scheduled my appointment, I found a Groupon deal and was excited to use it. The day of the appt they called me and asked if I could possibly come in 15-30 minutes earlier. I said I will try my best as I'm coming straight from work and really far in Brooklyn. I managed to show up earlier and they were nice, but once I told them I had Groupon their faces changed. The secretary told me "oh you have a Groupon- then we can't service you today you need to come back another time" I said "why? I'm already here- can I just use this groupon?" They kept saying "if you have Groupon it's a special service and we can't see you today. when I asked you how you found out about us on the phone you didn't mention the Groupon" I told her "yes because When I originally called I found you guys through google not Groupon. It was afterwards I bought a Groupon". The secretary kept saying "it's because we have to plug in the Groupon information a day in advance" That's total BS.... It takes 5 minutes to plug in a Groupon voucher. I've used Groupon before in other places and I never had an issue with using the Groupon on the day of. I was really upset and was about to leave and then they said "well we can see you today... if you pay the difference of the regular eyelash extension price" That comment actually made me more upset!!! so basically they can service me -If I pay more and they will not honor the Groupon. That is super shady! They have a slot open and they are refusing to service me because there is a Groupon? I of course left the establishment and there was no apology from the secretary or technician, even though I traveled like an hour plus to get here and not to mention rushed to get here because they wanted me to come earlier. It was a huge waste of my time. Such horrible customer service. I've used Groupon for many years and I've never had this experience ever where they deny service. This was very upsetting. My theory is that they have experienced lash technicians work with customers that pay the regular price, and they put new and inexperienced technicians with customers that use Groupon. That is why you need "to tell them in advance" so that they schedule a specific technician to do your lashes. Save your money and go somewhere else. There's a ton of places on Groupon for eyelash extensions and they will actually take it. read more

After having tried several eyelash extension places in New York, Ebenezer is no doubt the best one I have been! Quite a number of my friends recommended it to me, they have 3 shops, all very close to each other, I have only been Shop 3 and absolutely love it. I have been here at least 4 times now and have never been disappointed. Like: excellent services, extensive eyelashes selections: different length, fullness and style, very good price, referral discount, clean, optional foot massage when you are having the eyelashes done, no waiting time (your appointment will start at the exact time as your booking time), very clean, not pushy and don't try to sell you any extra products. Dislike: nothing in particular, but it's true that it's Reservation and Cash only place, so make sure you don't just show up and have no cash. Not only I love how natural their eyelashes look, I also really like that my appointment always started on time and they don't try to sell me any products, which many other places do. Price-wise they are very reasonable as well, I have been places that are very expensive and don't do as good job as they do. The first full set costs just slightly over $ 100, then if you go for refill within 2 weeks, it costs about $ 35- 50 depending on how much lashes you want to put on, refill within 3 weeks, it costs about $ 50 - 70, refill within 4 weeks costs $ 70 - 100. After coming here, I realized that many other friends also come here and they also thought this is the best place they have been. Strongly recommend it! read more

(Cash only establishment) I would agree, Ebenezer Eyelash on W. 35th St. is THE best place to go for eyelash extensions. Although I don't have any other lash experiences to compare it to. I'd hate to risk exploring other options only to be disappointed. Let me put it to you this way, if you find an awesome eyebrow tech you hold on to him or her for dear life, right? Same concept with my lashes, I don't play! Lol I'm not familiar with techs at the other Ebenezer locations but all of the ladies that work at the W. 35th St. location are highly skilled. My lashes last at a minimum, two months! I don't experience a lot of falling lashes, they're always very uniform and strategically placed. No twisting or turning over time either. The place is nice and quiet, with the exception of a little snoring here and there from the ladies being serviced. They cover you with a blanket while nice music plays in the background, you will more than likely fall asleep. The place is very clean, the techs are kind and usually always greet with a warm and friendly smile. They also have a friendly bedside manner and speak very good English, which is a plus in my book. I can't say enough good things about this location. Try them for yourself and see if the things I say are true. read more

I've had my lash extensions put in place few times before and have never been fully satisfied. A friend recommended I try this particular Ebenezer and I am very glad I did. The hospitality of the staff is commendable, this was especially important to me because the past few ones I've been to were not as experienced and made the whole process feel rushed. They are knowledgeable and quality of service deserves a review. After i got the lashes done, i wanted a much fuller look and they happily accommodated me the next day (day before my vacation!) to ensure i was 100% satisfied. It has been over 3 weeks and although majority of the lashes have fallen out, the time i had them on, they were comfortable and everyone commented how natural yet noticeably fuller my eyes looked (not to mention how fresh I looked when i rolled out of bed :). Not impressed . I have been doing eyelashes and I tried lots of places . The place seems to me is not competent enough. It was my first to go there but they charge the customers for full price just for the refilling (I had some lashes on and they didn't want to remove them completely , which I understand ) They used mascara at the end of the procedure while was all over my eye are the next morning . Also, the eyelashes feel off just after 4 days . Don't believe their 10% off for the first time customers, the discount according to the tacky manager is only valid the second time you go there on the condition that you wrote your good reviews confirmed by the place . This is kind of lame . They do offer massage and small gift , however it doesn't add too much points mainly because the eyelash job is not impressive enough. My impression about this place is that they are tacky and people there are not honest enough . Won't go again read more

This is my fist time getting lashes. The women working were very kind to me and took the time to explain the process and care procedures. The salon is clean and the staff is welcoming. They also gave a free 10 minute foot massage while I was having my lashes put on. I thought the prices were just okay at 94 dollars for a full set and 10 extra for the pro mascara but all in all the experience was relaxing and I was treated very nicely. My lashes look super natural and now there's no need for eye makeup at all! They only accept cash, so keep that in mind. I will definitely return. read more

I walked in without an appointment and the very nice receptionist called another location, they fit me in right away. This was my first time doing lash extensions and I was pretty nervous. I was walked through the whole process from lash lengths to what fit me best. I was brought to a spa bed and covered with a blanket, the process takes a whole hour so be warned you do have to keep your eyes closed the whole time so you will drift off into sleep from how relaxing it is especially with the meditation like music they have playing. I got eyelashes here for the first time this week. They told me the lengths that customer usually get, but I went one length longer because I wanted to make sure they were noticeable. After I got home I realized they were WAY too dramatic. They were well done, but way too much for my taste. They're not cheap, but eyelash extensions are expensive anywhere you go. I get a fill in every two weeks for about $65 and my lashes always look great! Would definitely reccomend them.
