I cannot recommend Majestic Paws enough for dog walking. I have used this company for almost a year now, since adopting my puppy, and have had such a positive experience. I contacted them on a Friday and was able to start service that next Monday. I bought a lockbox for my key, but they can even set that up for you for a flat fee. Scheduling service is a breeze on the Time to Pet app and you get a full report with a short write up, photos, a checklist and map of the completed walking route from the walker after they return. Every employee I've interacted with from this organization has been really pleasant to work with. If you're looking for a caring team of people to walk your pup, try out Majestic Paws! read more

Best humans. Best service. Best experience. I recently had surgery and was desperate for someone to walk my big boy German Shepherd. I set up and appointment to discuss details and John the owner spoke with me same day. Since day one I had a wonderful experience with someone walking my boy and John was very empathetic to my situation as well. Both Chad and Ellen are amazing humans/walkers who my boy likes and he does not like everyone. I highly recommend Majestic Paws along with great service the system they use allows messaging and after walks you get a report with photos of the walk. I tried phoning other businesses who either took forever to get back to me or told me they don't do German Shepherds. It has been a great experience with my boy exhausted after long walks and my stress way down with trusted care. Bless everyone at Majestic Paws!!! read more

Majestic Paws had great communication. I loved the pictures they sent me of my kitty while they took care of her. They made my day! The app was so helpful and an easy way to keep track of scheduling, payments, and messaging with the team. read more

Don't rely on this company. If they don't show up for your virtual appointment how can you count on them to show up for your dog? I eventually received a call that I was probably too far north in the city and that maybe they could refer me to someone else. Do not trust this company with your dog. read more

We LOVED Majestic Paws! First time using a cat sitter service and couldn't be more pleased! Prior to our trip, someone came out to meet us and Iris (our 1-year old tabby) and to take notes on her care needs- they even noted descriptions of her favorite toys. Each time a cat sitter came to hang out with Iris, they would scan in using a magnet on our fridge, write a large paragraph summary of the visit and snapped about 10-12 photos of Iris for us. When the visit was over we got a notification from the app and could review the above. It was such a piece of mind while we were away for our wedding to know that Iris was in such good hands. HIGHLY recommend this service and at a very affordable rate! read more

After hearing rave reviews about Majestic Paws from other dog owners in the South Loop, I decided to give them a try. One of the managers, Owen, came to our apartment to do a meet and greet with me, my husband, and our puppy before the first appointment. He had us fill out some informational forms, download the mobile app that is used for scheduling and communicating information about walks, and took detailed notes about our preferences. Since then, Ray from Majestic Paws has been walking our puppy Watson over the last few months, and we are very happy with the level of service we have received. Ray is always on time and professional, and I can tell our puppy loves him. With Majestic Paws' app and tracking, I know exactly what time Ray arrives and leaves and can see where he takes Watson on his walks. Each walk also includes 3 pictures, so I can see him having fun exploring, playing, or having his mid-day snack. Ray comes twice a day to visit Watson (once in the morning and once in the afternoon), and we pay $16 for each 25 minute walk. I would definitely recommend Majestic Paws! read more

Nancy is simply the best and practically the cat-whisperer!!! I highly recommend her for anyone who cares about the well-being of their pets. During the holidays, I needed a cat-sitter to take care of my two kitties that I recently adopted. Nancy agreed to take me on as a new client, even though she was extremely busy during that time. Throughout my time away, Nancy sent me daily pictures and updates. Even though I was half a world away, I wasn't worried about my cats because I knew they were in good hands. We ran out of litter half-way through my trip, but Nancy just bought them a new bag, as the kitties' "Xmas present," without charging me anything extra. When I came back from my trip, I was expecting some cold shoulders from my cats. Au contraire!! The kitties were sweeter than ever, which is pretty amazing - they were feral kitties before we rescued them and barely warmed up to us when I left. Nancy must have been so sweet and kind to my kitties that they finally realized that humans are decent creatures. Nancy genuinely cares about all her animals; she even sent me a couple of follow-up emails to make sure that my kitties are doing well. read more

Thanks to Majestic Paw, my family had a wonderful vacation last two weeks when Nancy and her great people did an AMAZING job about taking care of our little kitty Luna! Here's the reason why my husband & I were so impressed: I got some voicemails when my family and our friends were in Yellowstone National Park. I didn't pay them much attention since scam bothers me all the time, and it's hard to play the message with that POOR signal... Well anyway.. when I finally got my phone right I heard Nancy and her friends CANNOT OPEN the apt's door for like 2 days! I was so worried at the moment and was checking my mailbox like a mad tapper... Then, I saw tons of Nancy's mails, with EVERY detail, about how the door locked them out, how they tried to reach the apt manager, how happy Luna & Senior (our teeny blue fish with hardly-seen smiling face..) were when they finally step in the room...  Nancy, Jessica, Zak, Tyler, they wrote down note everyday they came in and I think that's kind of a gift (like Luna's diary) for us when we got home. Thank you guys, thank you Majestic Paw!! read more

I have been with Majestic Paws for a year and I honestly couldn't be happier with the service provided. I always felt comfortable having the walkers access to my home to walk my Louie. They always took such good care of my Louie and gave him hugs and kisses like he was one of their own. They took a bunch of pictures and uploaded them through the app (which is also easy and very user friendly). Overall I would 100% recommend this business to other dog owners in the city! They're reliable, very communicative and proactive, and great walkers!! read more

After having really bad experiences with 2 different dog walking companies (6 minute walks when paying for 30, not friendly to my dog, stealing beer from my fridge, all caught on camera), this was an aspect of my life adding a lot of unnecessary stress. I am extremely happy to have found Majestic Paws to not have to deal with that anymore. I met with the manager who was responsible, articulate and friendly when addressing my concerns. They have GPS, an app, and check-in check-out that ensures I am getting what I paid for. The billing is very straight forward. Their policies are flexible and accommodating. My walker, Julie, is easy to communicate with, on-time, and responsive when I have special requests. I'm just hoping they cover my new neighborhood when I move. read more

My husband and I were going on vacation and looked for a company to come to our apartment everyday while we were away because we didn't feel right boarding her (she's an anxious cat with loud meowing). We were a little uneasy having strangers come to our apartment when we weren't there, but majestic paws is set up where you get notifications every time they're there and when they leave. They also send adorable pictures and updates of your pet daily! They came to our place to pick up keys, meet our cat, and left us feeling worry free and comfortable leaving her in their hands. They are reasonably priced and we will definitely be using this company again! Thanks Majestic Paws! read more

I've been using Majestic Paws for almost two months now and I have to say that I love working with them for several reasons. The 1st reason is that when I met with Nancy the owner for the initial house visit she seemed to be very interested in making sure that she matched me with the right walker. I like the fact that she was more interested in finding the right match than in just picking up another customer. She matched me with Celeste who has been an excellent fit and who I can tell really cares about my pets. The next reason is that they GPS track all of their walks and send me an email letting me know when the walk starts and when the walk ends. This takes a load off my mind because if I'm out of town I don't have to worry if someone has been by to take care of the pets. I get emails telling me when they came by and when they leave with written updates and pictures. I love getting those updates. I also like the fact that they background check their employees and it seems that they don't have a high amount of employee turnover which is very critical to consider when giving someone a key to your home. Also, Majestic Pets is VERY easy to work with. I haven't had any problems so far with scheduling with them (and I travel a lot). They've also been very good with handling last minute emergencies like the time I got held over for an extra night due to flight delays. Their billing and payment is seamless and I like this. They bill me like clockwork and automatically run my credit card for my balance at that time. Their website interface is easy to use and they make it really easy for me to do business with them. Lastly, I know my pets are very well cared for. When I come home they are happy and content. They like Celeste and they obviously feel comfortable with her as I don't get many reports of misbehavior or accidents. I've used different Dog Walking services across the country and this one definitely is at the top of the list in terms of overall service. If you're looking for a walker in the South Loop, I'd definitely recommend Majestic Paws. read more

My husband and I absolutely love Majestic Paws. When we started using them for dog walks (about a year and a half ago) we had never used a dog walking service before. Owen and his team were very transparent about the process and have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They made us feel very comfortable, and Sebastian (our dog) loves them! We love getting the daily updates and pictures from Sebastian's walk, too. The walks are also tracked by GPS, and email updates are sent when the walk begins/ends. The pricing is (we feel) very good, and the service is extraordinary. We couldn't be happier, and highly recommend them for any pet service! read more

Nancy & her crew care for CATTRINA our cat like family! In the summer our plants are properly cared for, our mail is in a nice neat pile on our kitchen table, and any litter tracked into the halls is neatly vacuumed up. I can't give Nancy enough praise for taking care of my two (needy) cats this past weekend. I had some weird instructions, but Nancy had no problem with them! When I came back from my trip, I could tell my kitties were happy and well taken care of. Nancy sent me text updates with everything she did while she was here and even sent photos too! Majestic Paws is simply awesome. They are reliable dog walkers as well as dog lovers. We have been using Majestic Paws for a couple of years to look after our two cats when we are out of town, and were previously very happy with them. There is a pet check service that emails us when the pet sitter arrives and leaves, and they usually send a note a pictures of the pets. However, we started to notice that they didn't show up at the time that we had scheduled them for, and a couple of instances where we arrived home hours after they were scheduled to feed our cats, only to find that they still hadn't shown up yet. When they did eventually show up, to find they weren't needed, we were still charged for the visit. (You are unable to cancel an appointment day of on the website) We spoke to the owner about the most recent instance of this, partially to get a refund, but also to understand why there is such a difference between the time the we scheduled and the time the pet sitter arrived. One thing we learned was that the schedule times are for dogs only. This is not something that is at all clear on the website. Instead, cats are grouped into either morning or night. So if you have a cat, do not expect the sitter to arrive in anything under two hours of when you have scheduled the appointment on their website. Their website needs a lot more transparency when it comes to the nuances of their scheduling. Additionally, while the pet check feature is used to let owners know when the sitter has arrived and left, this is not what Majestic Paws uses to guarantee that their employees are where they are scheduled to be. The pet check is considered to be used for the "peace of mind" of the owner. But the sitter simply has to text back to the office to report that the visit is complete. Which is how we were able to be charged for visits that never took place when the sitter arrived after we had already come home. None of these things are made clear, so I want to make sure other pet owners are aware of this, as it has been very upsetting for us to come home and find our cats desperate for both attention and food on a few occasions. Edit on 11/25/2017: Based on the unapologetic response we have gotten from the business owner, I have decided to decrease the rating to two-stars. In fact, the situation mentioned above was not an isolated event, but happened at least two time earlier. I can only specify the most recent time before yesterday being on June 23, 2017, as I did not save the earliest text message exchange. Both those times, we decided to believe that they were isolated events related that caused the pet sitter to be late and did not push back. However, this final time was when we decided to ask for an explanation, which was when we learned about the scheduling limitations for cats. We were NOT made aware of this when we first became customers, otherwise we would never have scheduled cat visits on the days that we were planning to return. In conclusion, we will be finding a different pet sitter with more transparent policies and consistent communication (and who do not move area rugs to cover hairball messes, instead of cleaning them up). And we have also informed our friends and fellow cat owners, who we had originally recommended Majestic Paws to, about these policies. They were as surprised as we were, having not heard of this previously, but have also complained that their cat visits were also never on time. read more

Honestly, I can't say enough. Nancy dog sat my 90+lb, fairly neurotic lab over the holidays, and we couldn't be happier. Harp is a handful and presenting some significant health issues, but she was so great with him. She went above and beyond to keep him happy and healthy, exceeding my expectations. We will be using her EVERY time we travel or need a walk lined up, she was completely trustworthy to be in our home, and Harp clearly loves her. Our situation isn't the simplest for a dog sitter, doormen, service elevators and the like, but she was flawless. She was extremely communicative with texts and pictures and flexible with me, and her services are a value. read more

Majestic Paws is best in class if you are looking for pet services! Nancy and the entire team are great to work with and do a great job caring for you pet. My wife and I have had them walking our dog for 1.5 years now and have never had an issue. Their technology is awesome and makes you look forward to your completed walk email. Unfortunately, we are moving away from Chicago for work, so we won't have the pleasure of continuing to use them as our dog walker. Lovey thanks Celeste for their daily stroll around the neighborhood! read more

I highly recommend Nancy and Damien at Majestic Paws! I've used another South Loop pet sitting service in the past and was really disappointed. While the owner of the company was really nice and seemed to be professional, her employee did a way below average job taking care of my cat (I came home to a filthy litter box... yuck), so there was no way I would use them again. A neighbor recommended Nancy, and I've used her service for dog walks, cat sitting and house sitting/vacation pet care. I was satisfied with all services across the board. Thank you Nancy and Damien! read more

Our old dog walking service, Urban Tails, was recently acquired by Majestic Paws and we couldn't be happier. It has been SUCH an improvement since Nancy took over the business. It's clear that they really take the business seriously, and are really passionate about caring for their clients' pets. We love the daily notes and pictures too! read more

My wife and I were clients of Urban Tails, which Majestic Paws recently acquired. We couldn't be happier with the level of service we are provided by Nancy and her staff. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees! The owners are amazing. Owen is the one that usually communicates with me but they are wonderful people and they are GREAT at what they do! They are so communicative, they always show up within your requested time-frame, and our dogs LOVE them. Great people who do a great job, that you can trust to not only enter your home when you're gone, but to also take great care of your animals. I would give them 1,000 stars if I could. I've never had such an amazing experience with a company before! Nancy is amazing and so accommodating. My fiancé and I were struggling to find a reputable and reliable dog walking company and had seen Majestic Paws advertised at Charlie's, our pup, daycare. We did some research and were awed by the great reviews on Yelp. After a few emails and a phone call, Nancy came over to our condo and met Charlie. Unfortunately I couldn't be home at the time of the meet and greet but my fiancé couldn't stop praising Nancy. He said, "I can tell Nancy is a true dog lover". Charlie had an abusive dog walker in the past and it was important for us to find a good match. We're so excited to start dog walking services with them this week! I highly recommend this company for their great customer service and for the work they do. read more

I have never had a better experience with a dog walking company! My fiancé and I have used 3 other dog walking services in Chicago and each disappointed us for different reasons. The main issue we ran into was that we would be paying for a certain amount of time for our dogs to be walked and it was always 5-10 minutes shorter than the promised time. Secondly, our most recent experience was rather unsettling as both of my dogs ran to me when the dog walker came which they NEVER do! They always greet strangers/friends/family with happy tails and jumps. My cleaning person even told me that the dogs ran towards her when the walker came. Very unsettling as a pet owner when we are away from home. Anyways, my sister in law and her husband recommended Majestic Paws to us and I could not be more pleased. They are above and beyond amazing. Not only is every single walk the length that it is meant to be, but we get updated pics of our pups and a note each day. Our specific walker Ashley is nothing short of amazing. The pups run towards her and you can tell she genuinely cares for them. I will absolutely be using them when we travel and am very confident that whoever they have stay at our house will treat our dogs the way they should be treated. They also get back to you so quickly with any questions, comments, or concerns and truly have your dogs best interests at heart. I cannot rave about them enough! We highly recommend! read more

Majestic Paws has been part of our family's life since our pug Tucker was just a little guy. We have been shown nothing but love and support from Nancy and the whole crew. On the human side...they have been very responsive to all our needs. From last minute scheduling requests and late night emails we always receive a quick and friendly response. When we moved to a different part of the city that our walker couldn't reach, they were worked with us to find a new match - Tucker never went without his scheduled walks. From the pug side...Tucker has always received nothing but the best care! On a few occasions when we have been home when his walker arrived we could see the excitement and love he showed them and received. Nancy is wonderful!! We were in a crunch and needed a dog walker the next day, Nancy stopped over and introduced herself & her services that day after I inquired! She was great with our pup, who has severe separation anxiety. She even refilled her Kong & went through all our rituals for putting her in her crate each time she came. Nancy is very flexible and accommodating! My boyfriend and I both work in the medical field so our schedules are constantly changing. Nancy was so understanding and sweet. Plus, it is always her, so our dog got used to her, not like some places with 10 rotating employees. So happy with her services! We've been using Majestic Paws (aka Urban Tails) as soon as we got our pup back in May 2015. We've had our ups and downs in the beginning but Nancy has been a true life saver!! We use their services every so often and I love that we get to see when the walker arrives, how Ethel was on her walk and sometimes a photo :) Nancy and the rest of the amazing team are very professional and cater to you and your pet's needs. Example: My boyfriend (Chris) had been looking for a new job and I had been crazy busy at work. Last minute, Chris booked two interviews in the same day and would have had to drive to the suburbs, back home and then back to the suburbs again. Apparently, we thought Ethel could walk herself. That morning as we were arguing who forgot to setup the dog walker, I called Nancy at 8am right when they open left a voicemail to see if someone could take Ethel out during the afternoon. We honestly didn't think it would be possible and we knew that it was our fault so we would just have to deal with it, but of course, Nancy was very understanding and said no problem! We have been very fortunate to find MP! Thank you for taking such good care of our Ethel! read more

Majestic Paws has been amazing over the past year. I have two older cats and travel from time to time. Setting up the first meet up to give info on my cats and setting up visits has all been very easy. I love that they send me an email each time they enter my apartment and on their way out they email me again with a status on my cats and some cute pictures of them. It has really made the stress of being away so much easier to deal with knowing that I don't have to worry about them while I'm away. What can I say - this place is great!! We adopted a very, very feisty kitty about 9 months ago and Majestic Paws (formerly Urban Tails) watched above-mentioned feisty kitty several times while we were out of town. Kitty wasn't particularly nice to anyone who came into our house, so these lovely folks braved his attitude problems and kept us updated on how things were going. We came back to detailed notes about each visit each time we were away, and they always returned my phone calls and emails promptly. Thanks, guys!
