Once more, Jay and his team made us fall in love with our 22 year old house all over again…read more In 2017, on the recommendation of a friend's neighbor, we had Jay & his team at Milato construction redo our kitchen countertop. He seemed to intuitively understand what my wife and I wanted, and his team did a beautiful job. It's absolutely gorgeous, and Jay steered us into practical decisions that worked very well for us, and the look we were trying to achieve. This year, we had them do a roofing repair as well (a few missing/broken tiles, and tar paper replacement). His guy came to our house and was done so quickly I barely realized he was there. Not kidding, a bit of hammering and he was done. If I didn't actually see the photos of the work, I might not have believed it (haha). This month (Dec. 2019) Jay and his crew repainted the exterior of our entire house, including doors, shutters and patio, as well as replace two very old back windows of ours with thicker, vinyl windows. The work was quickly done (only a few days), and looked EXACTLY how we'd imagined it would. Better, in fact. My wife and I couldn't be more happy with how it came out. I still find myself going outside a lot more these days, just to look at it again. I keep Milato Construction's number on my phone because if we need something done, I trust that Jay will intuitively understand what we need and the most affordable way to get it. He works as best he can within a given budget, and if anything isn't to his personal satisfaction, he will find a way to make it so. Jay is also kind and easy to get along with, as are all of his crew. If seeing is believing, see the attached pics of our 'new' home (in stages and completed).

We recently completed a major home renovation with this team, and they exceeded our expectations…read moreevery step of the way. They remodeled our kitchen with custom cabinetry and a beautiful backsplash, installed engineered hardwood downstairs, replaced carpet upstairs, added tile in our laundry room and bathrooms, and coordinated seamlessly with another vendor on our staircase and railing project. The quality of their work was outstanding. What really set them apart was their communication and customer service. They understood how disruptive it is to be without a kitchen or laundry for weeks for a family with 2 young kids in sports, and they went above and beyond to minimize the impact on our family by moving our refrigerator and washer/dryer back and forth as needed to reduce downtime. They were also incredibly helpful with material selections and kitchen design. When I wasn't fully satisfied with some of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts because the wood grain didn't match the rift-sawn white oak we had selected, they listened to our concerns and replaced the pieces at no additional cost. Like any large remodel, a few issues came up along the way, but every concern was addressed quickly and professionally. Their responsiveness, craftsmanship, and commitment to making things right gave us confidence throughout the project. We love the final result and would absolutely use them again for future projects. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor who stands behind their work, completes the work on time, and genuinely cares about their customers. Thank you, Josh, Tedi, Tosha, and rest of the TP Remodeling team!

The result was beautiful with such attention to detail. Hiring a contractor just based on web reviews is scary. Especially when you are getting almost a "too good to be true" promise. I can say with complete confidence that you can consider this a glowing review and a friendly referral. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We've done so many things that I couldn't attach all the photos as it's reached Yelp's limit.. Our shower valve bursted so we needed a restoration for the kitchen (right down below) and the master bathroom. Overall they renovated our kitchen, master bathroom, second-floor flooring, stairs, and replaced our water regulator and some water boxes. The results exceeded our expectations. I still remember after installing the cabinets, I noticed the pantry and one more cabinet's doors were very slightly not aligned and was planning to tell Martin about it. However before I had the chance it was already fixed. We really appreciate such details. The crew was very professional and kept the space as clean as possible during construction. Our home feels completely transformed, and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for renovation work.

He referred us to Martin and Cova Construction. We were quoted a very fair price and reasonably quick timeframe. Let's begin! Once the project was started we were so impressed with the first bathroom, we asked if we could add a few more projects. We added new flooring(which looks amazing) painted the living room, kitchen and hallway (very nice) also painted the kitchen cabinets an amazing sage green(HGTV inspired) painted the fireplace mantel and distressed it, after all that we replaced our 60+ year old 10' slider door and added shades for privacy. All this in a relatively short time, about 6-7 weeks. Martin and his squad are all super good people and were a pleasure to have around the house. At the end of every workday all construction debris was swept up and clean. I would hire these gents again and again, you should too Thanks Cova!!!

I went with Alexander Remodeling and couldn't be happier with the end result. David was the first to respond to my quote inquiries and came for a walkthrough within a couple days. He is very straightforward and trustworthy; based on examples he showed from his own house and his recommendations on several aspects I was undecided on, I knew this project would be in good hands. The company is bonded, licensed, insured. David was very communicative through the whole project. His quote includes materials within a certain budget, and it was STILL the lowest of the 5 that I got. He also helps select the materials that are needed by providing links to a few options. His crew is super clean, professional, and has painstaking attention to detail. With several adults and a 1 year old at home, they were very conscious of notifying us about turning off the water and keeping it to a minimum. They keep the areas closed off for safety and minimizing the noise and dust. They put down cloths and paper to protect the floors and walkways from outside. At the end of the job they spent several days cleaning up everything and also the garage space where they kept the tools. They replaced everything except the floors, cabinets, and mirrors at my request. Everything was covered under the initial quote, including paint. David worked with us very generously on selections that we really wanted. Even with materials included, the waterproofing and shower materials were done with the best; they use Schluter everything. Since I work from home, the actual start date and duration were not that important to me. David's estimate was pretty spot on, it took a couple extra days but I did add on some work on our kitchen and had them come back to fix a couple things. This plus some recent kitchen appliance upgrades feels like living in a brand new house. All the showers are much more spacious, and the frameless doors look amazing. The grading on the shower pans means the water no longer pools and leaves rings I would have to scrub constantly. There are so many more little details I haven't mentioned, like the barely noticeable grading around the tub deck to help water flow back in, and how David added 2 extra can lights for free to make sure our master bath was perfectly lit. I couldn't be happier with my new bathrooms and kitchen sink and the work done by Alexander Remodeling.

My wife had very specific ideas about what she wanted, and I was concerned that we would not be able to make it work within our budget. We requested quotes from 3 different contractors, including Alexander Remodeling, which we found here on Yelp. David Alexander came out and walked through the project with us. He listened carefully to our requests and vision for the finished result, and he offered a few additional ideas of his own that we both liked as well. He provided a quote within just a few days, and even though it wasn't the lowest bid, we decided to go with David because we both felt that we could trust him to do what we wanted and to do it right. We had to wait for a few weeks to get started because he was already booked, but that worked for us because my wife had ordered the vanities, toilets, and plumbing fixtures, and we needed to wait for these to arrive before starting the project. It all worked out very well, because everything arrived and he was able to start on the date promised. The project was scheduled to take about 4 weeks, and it ended up taking a few days longer, but we did have him do some extra painting and make modifications to my wife's closet that turned out very nice. During the project, we even asked David to tile a larger section of the floor in the master bath area than what was originally planned, and he did it at no extra labor charge to us. After the project was complete, I had to ask him to come back and fix a couple of issues we identified, which he did in a very timely manner, even though he was already working on other jobs. My wife and I want to compliment David, Diego, Ceasar, and Jacob on the work they did in our home. Even though we have been in this house for 23 years now, it almost feels like living in a new home. I highly recommend Alexander Remoding for your home improvement needs.
