Don't hesitate book them now! The attention to detail of this crew is almost flawless. They install, caulk, and paint the crown moulding plus finished our entire home in less than a day. I was impressed hard to find good quality contractors and a decent price so happy we went with them. These guys did an amazing job we had a limited budget and was only planning on doing downstairs but they offer alternative materials other than just wood. They have different moulding styles to pick from as well so you can taylor it to your home.

Board and Batten update to Kitchen Island

I had Daniel, Terry and Kyle at the house for new baseboards, door casings, framing a walk through, and a kitchen island update. Daniel helped me with design to totally clean up and modernize my 2003 tract home. Could not be more grateful. Beautiful work and very pleasant renovation which can often be chaos.

This is the 2nd time we called Daniel to do some moulding work for us. The first time we had crown moulding done to most of the house. This time they did some doorway casing and a beautiful design geometric accent wall. Daniel and his crew covered and cleaned up and did an excellent job. I explained my vision for the geometric accent wall and Daniel did exactly what I wanted and exceeded my expectations! Thank you for everything!

The 2nd time my mom used them. This accent wall took all of 4 -5 hours give or take.

My mom has used this company 3 times and she loves them!! Their quality of work is consistent and truly amazing. Daniel & Terry are so professional and so easy to work with. We highly recommend this company, they work quick but that never compromises their work. Perfection every single time!!

Such good work! Daniel and his team were professional, excellent with communication, and finished in a timely manner. Cost is competitive and the quality is fantastic. They were even flexible and worked around some measuring issues I had. I'll be using Crown Touch in the future to do some additional work.

Daniel is amazing. We reached out to Daniel to help us with baseboards, casing, and wainscoting. Daniel is busy and you can tell why. His work is flawless. It was worth waiting for. Everyday they left the job as clean as when they showed up. His customer service is amazing. He spent time with us to design all aspects of our job. He was able to bring our vision to reality. If you are looking for any millwork done in your home I highly recommend using Daniel and his team.

In process of remodeling to move baby in her room. New baseboards installed.

Great experience! Received several quotes and his prices were the most competitive! His work was great. He responds quickly and explains well.

Highly recommended!! We have had Crowning Touch out 3 times over the last 5 years. The highest quality of workmanship and so professional. We couldn't be happier with our window casings, crown moulding and baseboards!!

Daniel and his partner just finished up my house today and it looks incredible! I first stumbled upon his website after a quick Yelp search and was reading about his foam material that he uses and I reached out via his website... he responded quickly and after a few emails and photos of my house, he text me an estimate and he ultimately came over to show me his different styles and we agreed to an install date a week later. The product looks amazing and you can hardly tell that it's not a wood material! The price was great for the overall look and quality and I couldn't be happier with the final outcome... the photos literally don't do it any justice, you won't regret choosing Daniel for your project!

Dan was very courteous and prompt. He and his crew were very professional, respectful and pleasant. They were very efficient and effective and finished the project sooner than expected. Dan's prices were very competitive and the quality of the work was superb. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan or use him again.

Wall knocked out. Crow molding section cut out.

Daniel came through just after COVID to install my crown molding and it was a top notch job that always gets compliments. Fast forward to today during some remodeling that required me to cut a section of the crown molding out. I call Daniel after 3 years from the initial install and he answered the phone as if I just spoke to him yesterday. The repair work is seamless. Before and after photos because I'm proud to be his customer (don't mind the paint work - whole interior is undergoing repaint).

I honestly can't say enough about Crowning Touch Moulding. I hired them for a fairly large job that took 4.5 days. Everyday, Daniel and his wonderful crew of professional young men showed up with a fantastic attitude, on time and were meticulous about getting everything perfect, down to the smallest detail. They also cleaned up before they left each day. I now have gorgeous crown Moulding throughout my house, 3 beautiful accent walls (they are head-turners for sure) and they also framed out multiple doorways throughout the home. I, unequivocally recommend this business for your customization needs!

Daniel and his crew terry and Kyle recently helped us with a big interior project, baseboards, crown in the entire house and door casings in the entryway. Working with Daniel was an absolute pleasure. He is very responsive to calls/texts, very pleasant to chat with and knows his stuff! His estimate was very reasonable for the size of the project and it was worth every single penny. Our home feels brand new! They showed up on time everyday, always left a clean work area and were even kind and chatted with my younger kids who were so interested in what they were doing. They paid attention to every detail. Absolutely craftsmanship. Daniel and his crew know what they are doing and we are so happy we went with them. Look no further, you've found your crown guy!

Ask the Community - Crowning Touch Moulding

Hi. Do you install wainscot wall panels with existing baseboards?

Yes, but each wainscotting application is unique to the home. Sometimes we can leave the existing baseboards on, and other times we remove them. Either way we leave you with a complete, and professional, finished product.

Do you also do other woodwork I saw in pictures? Such as shiplap walls, board batten, etc?

I do all aspects of moulding and trimwork, so yes, shiplap and accent walls.

What do you use to clean installed crown molding? Mine is yellowing above microwave oven? Thanks

It depends on what material you have installed? Usually a damp towel will do the trick.

Hello, do you install door casings?

Yes I do. They start at $125 per door side, $250 for front and back.

Is the baseboard material the same foam material you use as with your crown molding?

No, the foam is only used for crown. Baseboard would be MDF.

These guys drove from the Corona/Riverside area to our home daily and showed up on time. We felt the pricing was fair for the size of our home, and the overall value for the work done was excellent. For only two painters, they were able to complete the work in the timeframe we were quoted, which was great. However, there were a few communication and cleanup issues that prevented this from being a 5-star experience. As a military family, we were grateful for the military discount provided by the project manager, Fermin. He was highly professional, communicative, and even included a few complimentary touch-ups, like refreshing our light fixtures and painting the side garage door.  Unfortunately, property care at the end of the project fell short. The crew removed our security camera bases to ensure an even paint job but didn't notify us where they were placed. We had to search our yard and eventually found them stashed inside our outdoor cat house and a flower bed. Additionally, the side garage door weatherstripping was removed for painting and left off. Even if the crew intentionally left it off to allow the paint to dry completely, failing to communicate that instruction to us, left us to figure it out and reinstall it ourselves.  The painting itself deserves praise, and the project manager provided our full paid receipt and warranty information as requested. However, better attention to detail regarding communication and final cleanup is needed. We were happy to support a business in the Inland Empire.

1-star for an attempted mid-job bait-and-switch…read more Revive and Refinish gave us a written quote for a fixed price, which we signed based on the stated scope. They arrived late, removed our doors, and sanded some of them. Then, after work had already started, the painter on site said the existing paint required more sanding than expected and that there was suddenly an issue with the original quote. At that point, no clear additional price was given on site, and no one from the company proactively contacted me. I had to call them myself, and only then was I told by Jack that the job would cost an additional $1,300. That is not how a professional company should operate. Their written scope already included prep and painting, and sanding/prep were discussed from the beginning. If the price was truly conditional, that should have been clearly disclosed before we signed. It was not. Instead, they started the job, removed our doors, and only raised a pricing issue after work was already underway. There was no written change order, no revised estimate, and no approval from us before the project stopped. Once we refused to proceed under those circumstances, they reinstalled everything and refunded our deposit, which was appropriate -- but that does not excuse how the job was handled. At least one door was reinstalled improperly, there was an exposed hinge cutout/mortise left on the door edge, and visible patch/filler material was left on the door jamb and trim near the latch/strike area. The doors were not returned in their original condition. This was not a clean reset. It wasted our time, disrupted our home, and forced us to restart the project with another company. We obtained multiple additional quotes, all lower than their original quote, and now have another company scheduled to complete the work this week for less than what Revive and Refinish originally quoted us. The actual painters themselves were polite and professional. The real issue was the estimate, the communication, and raising a pricing issue only after work had already begun. As reflected in my review history, I do not leave negative reviews lightly. Be careful. Update after Owner response: Your response actually reinforces my main concern. You stated you continued working based on an "understanding" that the additional work was approved. That is exactly the issue. If extra work is needed, the price should be clearly provided and explicitly approved before continuing -- not assumed mid-project. My husband only spoke to a painter and was never given a price, I had to text you to get that information. We specifically pointed out the prior paint job on the doors during the estimate because we were already concerned about it. Your representative looked at them, took photos, and had the opportunity to identify or at least flag any potential prep issues before work began. If this is a known possibility that can significantly affect the scope and price, then a qualified painter should be involved during the estimate. That is exactly why we scheduled estimates with multiple companies and set aside time for your company to properly evaluate the project before work began. That is the entire purpose of an estimate. Your response also highlights a deeper issue with your system: if conditions that can significantly affect scope and price are only "discovered" after work begins, then your estimates and contracts are clearly not as reliable as customers are led to believe. Without having a qualified painter involved during the estimate, this same mid-project price increase issue could easily happen again to future customers. Unexpected conditions can happen, but that does not excuse poor communication or proceeding without a properly documented change order. My husband was not given a clear additional price upfront before work continued, and that should never happen on a professionally managed project. No reasonable customer would be comfortable with a $1,300 mid-project price increase after already signing a contract -- especially when the work then leaves the home in worse condition than it was before. Future customers should absolutely be aware of that.

Which means you run the risk of running into various levels of opinion and emotional impact due to the constant imposition of work impacting their usual day to day living situation. This job had high maintenance neglect from the previous duplex owner. Most likely, hadn't been painted in 30 years, possibly more. As with most structural neglect, there were issues with wood rot, termite damage and various degrees of stucco degradation. Jason's team was up for the task. There were tense moments, but Jason was calm (at least around me, haha) and handled little flare ups. Jason was up front regarding damage found and was detailed in explaining how his crew would address issues. This took a month due to the amount of damage repair, prep work and finally paint. Jason's crew made this duplex come from a tired eyesore into the quaint mid century cottages that they were meant to represent. Like always, Jason's crew cleaned up the worksite everyday. Made sure things like paint chips and debris were picked up nightly. For the quality and long lasting results that South Coast Painting provides, it's worth every penny spent.
