Elite Painting just finished painting the exterior of our house and I could not be more happy! He showed up on time to give me a free estimate, took the time to answer all my questions and offered a fair price. He kept in contact with me and helped me pick colors that would cover our old paint. From the first day they started, I was impressed with their punctuality, careful attention to detail and their work ethic. Dennis, the owner, was here every day without exception and worked just as hard as his crew, even in 105 degree weather. They worked full days every day, and took a 30 minute lunch break on the premises. Dennis treats his crew right so I'm sure they took a couple of 10-15 minute breaks but I never saw it. They started by thoroughly washing the whole house and then started the prep work, repairing wood & stucco and paying careful attention to every tiny crack before painting. We have a lot of wood and each rafter tail was cut in by hand flawlessly. Finally, they painted all our exterior doors. Our 60 year old house looks like new! For me, even more important than the meticulous job they did on our prep & paint was Dennis and his crew's attitude. They showed up every day on time, cleaned up every day before they left, finished the job on schedule and exceeded our expectations on every level. On the last day, they went around the house several times making sure everything was perfect. I never saw him or his crew with a cell phone in their hand. These guys are amazing! Dennis and his crew are skilled and have years of experience but the extra bonus you get when you hire them is integrity. Our home was built in 1948. The wood is old and weathered from the sun. We knew it needed a lot of prep work but it turned out to be worse than we thought. With three guys working eight hour days it took about seven days to prep our house. I guarantee most companies would either walk away from this job or charge me more. Then there's the detail work. We have a lot of trim and windows. They look amazing! And you won't find a drip of paint anywhere around the house. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I know it's silly but it's the little things that make me feel like they really cared about my house. I'm a homemaker so it's important that I feel comfortable with the people who work on my home. It was so refreshing to have positive, kind people working on my house for three weeks. If I needed to run errands, I felt completely comfortable leaving them with the back door open to use the bathroom. One day I didn't make it home before they left but it didn't matter because they locked everything up for me. Oh and one afternoon Dennis brought my trash cans up and locked them behind the gate where I keep them. Who does that? Dennis and his crew painted the exterior of our house. He and his crew worked full days and only took breaks for lunch, they never left any trash behind and everyday they left the outside of the house very neat. They fixed so many details that I wouldn't even thought of or thought painters would do. Stucco needed repair, cracks in the walls, old wood, beams that needed taking out, screws and nails that needed removing, they even helped us move a shed so they could paint the house behind it. I have 4 children at home and Dennis and his crew where very respectful of our privacy and never once did I feel uncomfortable with them at our house. I was very impressed how well they made all the lines and edging look. They also walked the house several times the last day without us even asking to touch up and and double check that everything was done right, fixing things even I didn't see. My husband and I got stuck on a few colors we couldn't decide and Dennis was very helpful pointing us in the right direction. There where time where I had to leave the house and I felt comfortable and respected that I could leave my doors unlocked so they could continue working. We just used Dennis and his crew, David and Jesse, for a second time. This job was comprised of removing wallpaper from three large rooms with really high ceilings, and repainting all three rooms. They had to retexture some areas behind the wallpaper before they felt it would look good after painting. Just like the first time we used them, Dennis and his crew did a fantastic job! They covered the carpet and the furniture and there was not a speck of paint left anywhere in the house. They are great guys to have around because they are totally trustworthy and obviously enjoy their work. They are very hard workers (they only quit long enough for a half hour lunch) and after a five day job, they cleaned everything up so that it looked like they hadn't even been here. We had our 1929 Tutor-style home painted in July, and from start to finish, Dennis, the owner, and his assistant exceeded our expectations on all levels, price and quality. I had gathered estimates from three other painters, and Elite Painters submitted the best estimate and acted the most professional from start to finish. Dennis arrived on time and gave us a detailed estimate. He followed through on everything he wrote up in the estimate. Dennis and his assistant are highly skilled painters. We have an historic tutor-style home that has extremely high and steep rooflines. In addition, we have well over 35 windows, some of which are the original wood frames from the 1920's. These are very difficult to paint. Elite Painters did a remarkable job sanding and filling in the wood trim that had, in some places, deteriorated quite a bit. They arrived on time, dressed professionally, and worked diligently everyday. They were also very neat and covered all objects to make sure nothing was damaged.
