Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

At 12:30am a call was made to AHW, thinking just leave a msg for the next day (Saturday), but was shocked when Mike answered the phone. He and his team were there at 8am to put boards on windows etc. AHW was then hired to do the gutting of the home. All household items, refrigerator, furniture, personal belongings, everything! I'll talk first about their work ethic, they all were extremely professional, honest, dedicated, energetic, and knew what needed to be done. Once the home was emptied out, they went to work on ripping everything down, walls, ceilings, cabinets, flooring etc. Right down to the studs. Everyday they left, everything was cleaned up on the outside, sweeping, hosing down etc. Now the human side to these amazing gentlemen. Again, this was a horrific incident. ALL the staff at AHW were compassionate, empathetic and extremely kind to the family. While cleaning out personal items, they'd put items aside that weren't damaged by fire/smoke/water, that were sentimental to the family. Example, photos, wall painting, Dads Notre Dame and Angels memorabilia, Great Grandma's grandfather clock etc. I believe other companies wouldn't have had the degree of compassion they had, and would have tossed these items. Most just want to come in, get the job done and leave. NOT AHW, they came with their hearts open and empathy shining through. I highly recommend AHW for all the reasons stated above: Professional, Honest, Dedicated, Ethical, Hard Working, Very responsive, Respectful; there's so many positive adjectives I can use for them and it still wouldn't be enough. If you don't believe me, do yourself a favor, if you're ever in need of this type of service, call AHW, I promise you won't be disappointed! Mike, Ray, Justin and Henry their compassion went beyond the family, it was also given to me as a friend/neighbor for over 22 years!

So we hired JV Handyworks for a remote repair on a condo that had a fair amount of water damage, deferred maintenance and two live in occupants. The project seemed simple, remodel floor, paint, add a some fixtures. But that, as it always does, changed. After 30 years working with other contractors, I have seen how things can get gummed up. So when it came time to do the work, I expected some entanglement, some issue. But there wasn't. They also helped repair a cabinet door that broke off of my bedroom furniture when my daughter swung on it and they helped me get a replacement cabinet door with a quick turn-around time when one of our pre-fab cabinet doors broke that came with the house we bought. 5 stars. I have lived in Riverside nearly all my life, and it's hard to find decent, caring businesses like this.

One of the last few artists in woodworking! Jeff has done work for me on multiple occasions, and every single time, without exception, his work is flawless! You don't find walls perfectly plumb, but Jeff will find a way to make things work, and if he can't do it, no one can. He is so meticulous and truly a perfectionist! He also leaves your home the way it was or even better than before he and his crew entered. Jeff is a man of many talents, and I would not trust anyone else to do anything in our home. He is also very honest and fair. His prices may not be the lowest but they definitely are not the highest, and the level of quality in his work can't be topped. This is no exaggeration. When I first met Jeff, I knew right away that he was the man that would take good care of us...his wonderful character came through right away. IT LOOKS AMAZING! We selected Coulson Crown Moulding to install crown moulding in our home after searching the internet and taking several in-home bids. We wanted crown moulding in every room, except closets and laundry. Jeff gave us a competetive bid that included installation and painting. Some of the completition only the installation, but we wanted it all in one contract. Jeff and his crew are craftsmen and produce high quality woodworking products. He uses professional painters to finish his work. We learned that you only want professionals to prepare and spray paint after the installation. He completed the large job in only two days with an organized team approach to preparing, measuring, cutting, and installing. Two more days for painting and the home was complete. As homeowners we all know that one of the most stressful aspects of ownership is finding the right people to do repairs and rennovation. After having a bad experience with a so called "finish carpenter" I was lucky enough to find Jeff Coulson and his crew. Jeff came to my home, made helpful suggestions for the crown moulding and trim work to be done. A couple days later I received a complete contract describing the work, the time to do the work and the exact cost. When the day came he arrived ready to do the job and after three long days with his crew did a tremendous job. The moulding is beautifully done and met all my expectations. We had Coulson Crown Moulding install crown moulding in our living room, front hall dining room, and kitchen. We could not be more pleased with the results! Jeff Couslon and his assistant Larry were very friendly and professional. They carefully prepared and protected the area, and then they measured every wall before they cut any of the moulding. After the moulding was installed, they sanded and caulked all of the nail holes, corners, and every gap where the wall was not even. The final look is great. I had crown moulding, baseboards, door and window framing, etc. installed in my home. I have an old house, the walls aren't very straight, and I had the crown moulding installed over the existing crown moulding and Coulson Crown Moulding did an excellent job! Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.

They had the best and most reviews compared to the other companies we looked at, and the best pricing. Johnny went out of his way to purchase the sink, faucet (both Kohler), and garbage disposal from Costco and passed the costs directly to us with no markup. The demo, new countertops, and all plumbing hookups were completed in about six hours. Our kitchen was only out of service for that single day, whereas other companies told us the installation could take several days. Not having a working kitchen for that long would have been a huge inconvenience. Inland Cabinets made the entire process smooth, quick, and stress-free. I highly recommend them.

So when Johnny came by he noticed a lot of "mickey mouse" things the flipper did to the house, dishwasher in the wrong place, sink not in the center, etc. So we ended up changing our lay out to be the correct way. In the matter of 2 weeks we had a whole new kitchen. The attention to detail his crew provides is unmatched and his prompt communication is very rare in this type of field. It seems like that's a given, but our house is from the 60's and the ceiling, walls and floor are "lumpy", so it's extra impressive that Gil was able to make it look nice. We needed to take the fridge cabinet down to get our countertop in and Gil took care of that and re-installed it for us the same weekend. He came and tweaked things that needed it multiple times.
