I went on a recommendation for the Creperie early on a Sunday with no reservations . There are two parking lots to choose and it's located inside of a boutique hotel . We ordered lattes and cappuccinos to start and the ham and gruyere cheese crepes for our breakfast that were absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit high however it's a nice treat once in a while. The crepes are super thin and not what I was used to at other crepe restaurants including authentic ones in Paris but the meal was still very tasty and worth a try! Everything here was delightful. As soon as you pull up, you notice the character and uniqueness of this establishment. Beautiful walkways, multiple rooms to dine in, and impeccable service. Travis was my waiter and went above and beyond. Staff are always nearby and you will never wait for anything. The food was delicious and the owner is delightful to converse with. There is a lot of history here, so make sure you plan on spending several hours to explore the grounds and the different areas. We were pretty disappointed with our dinner here on thanksgiving. We were seated in an area with two booths -- by the service bar. Although the bar tender -- who was our server as well -- was quite nice, it was awkward. We got to hear all the chitchat from the other staff as they were picking up their drink orders. If you go, request the main dining room or the patio. There was a limited menu the night we came, but as it was thanksgiving, we both ordered the turkey. We started with their maison blue salad. It only had one olive and not much blue cheese, but it was decent. We were sharing the salad. We were told the kitchen couldn't split it (deer in the headlights reaction) -- but we had no problem getting an extra plate and doing it ourselves (server's look of relief). The Turkey dinners had quantity but not much visual appeal. The dark meat turkey was gristly and tough; the white meat pink and chewy. The plain "sautéed" green beans were al dente to the point of being raw; there were no red onions in them. The stuffing tasted like soggy bread -- no taste of any cornbread as stated on the menu. The mashed potatoes were okay but totally bland. There wasn't any seasoning of any kind or herbs or spices on anything -- which would have helped. I asked for some brown gravy thinking this might help. I was given a small dish of greasy pan drippings. Also flavorless. Frankly, we couldn't wait to leave. This was definitely not a $100+ dinner. Plus I felt I owed my husband an apology for selecting this restaurant. We've eaten thanksgiving dinner out many times over the years in many Florida locations. We know that it can be done right. This was obviously not their chef's strength and probably should not be on their future holiday menus. Bottom line: don't order the Turkey here; stick to their regular menu items. read more

Friends of mine were in town and they were staying at the Maison Martinique. They wanted to meet for dinner so I suggested the on premise restaurant since I've had great experiences there in the past. Our server Tyler was pleasant. Everything else was terrible. I ordered the ribeye medium-well. I'll post a picture of the charred meat that they served. We asked to speak to the manager and all I can say about her is that she is in the wrong business. She sent out the chef who was even ruder than she was. Over all, all dishes came out wrong. Another steak that was ordered medium-well came out with a cold purple center. The fish dinner came out raw and rubbery. We paid for our drinks, salads and soup and left. It is worth noting that 2 White Russians, 3 dinner salads and a bowl of soup was $100.00. We left and went to Johnny D's for a great dinner which salvaged my friends Birthday dinner. It appeared that there were other unhappy guests that night. I hope that they are able to fix these glaring management and culinary deficiencies. I won't be back to find out. read more

Start to finish, what an incredible experience for us to share with our friends visiting for Valentine's weekend! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We entered Madison Martinique via the charming candlelit walkway by the poolside entrance, and toured the many quaint outdoor dining nooks, before meandering into the downstairs bar, where Travis welcomed us to happy hour with delicious Woodford Old Fashioned elixirs![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Later, we were seated at our table in the bamboo room and enjoyed a bevy of delicious dishes... including grilled artichoke hearts, a savory blue cheese salad and divine pork chops! Our waiter, Matthew, did an excellent job describing the menu offerings and specials and wine parings. The service was as impeccable as the swank white tablecloths adorning each table. After dinner, we made our way upstairs to the Havana Nights Piano Bar, where their talented bar tender/cocktail slayer, Aiden, did a fabulously attentive job serving endless cocktails while singer/mucisian, Peter Valentine kept us moving on the dance floor with his plethora of popular hits from his piano! My mom and I went here for brunch this morning and had a wonderful meal. We both got the berries and cream crepes with two eggs (she had scrambled and I had poached) and we split a side of bacon. Everything tasted amazing, and the staff are so friendly. The tables are comfortable, and you can also eat outside by the pool if you prefer. We've made this one of our happy hour staples on the island. Great ambiance. We prefer to sit by the pool, under the palms and enjoying their spectacular food. Travis has been our server on a few occasions and is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. The charcuterie board is my go to along with grilled artichokes and the shrimp accompanied by their homemade cocktail sauce with crazy good flavor. We attended a dinner there on 05/05/23. Our appetizers were first class... I ordered the Linguine Fra Diovole as my entree and ordered wrong, thought it was a white sauce and I could not eat it. They literally swept it up of my table and the chef custom-made me another plate with a white wine sauce, amazing lobster and Linguine with just the right bite to it. My bride ordered the pork chop and it was one of the finest she had ever eaten. Desserts were a hit and then we retired upstairs to the Piano Bar to good music and nice people. I went to Masion Martinique three times last week! My two friends introduced me to their favorite place. I went twice with them and once with two ther friends. First, the martini I ordered was ice cold as requested. Second, although the menu is small there are three or four "features". Third, the food is fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. Based on my Yelp Search for a new restaurant in a town of great restaurants, the enthusiastic reviews lead me to Maison Martinique. Even more intriguing, there were a number of scathing reviews which through experience, only makes me curious. The tropical path through a garden with a splashing fountain led to the varied dining rooms, all in a cheerful tropical theme. With all the travel restrictions today, this restaurant transported us the Caribbean which we have missed this last year. The food: our party started with the onion soup, the sautéed artichoke hearts and the Mediterranean salad; all imaginative and truly delicious. I opted for the scallops which were described as a small plate but for my appetite, a perfect portion. At our table was also the Chicken Piccata, the Linguini which we all tasted; we say prepared perfectly. Our waiter, Lief talked us into dessert which we normally don't have but they were both winners: the Salted Carmel Ice Cream and the Chocolate Torte that can only be described as lavish. Additionally, we felt pampered by outstanding service. Our waiter guided us to the best on the menu and kept us thoroughly entertained. There is a special warm dining experience that will put Maison Martinique on our list of great restaurants. read more

We went there on Saturday night and the place was empty. We were the only ones there. Not a good sign obviously. The service was decent but not very quick considering we were the only patrons. The food was tasty but overpriced. Ambiance was okay, a bit strange being the only patrons on a Saturday night. Overall it was very expensive and average for what you get.
