My cousin and I came to check it out based on Brandon Flowers' recommendation. I heard him mention that he still goes there from time to time. It never really crisped up so it was difficult to pick up a slice in the traditional manner. (It wasn't over-sauced or anything that might have contributed to a soft crust... it just didn't crisp up the bottom.) I had to resort to knife and fork, which is an abomination. They seem to have held the line on rampant food inflation, and I'll be back the next time I have an urge for Pizza in Payson.

The price was right for their pies and if I need a pizza fix would go back, pizza made quick and they have it by the slice which is a first in the Spanish Fork vicinity. The problem with this place and all others is the sauce lacks any traditional Italian flavorings, it tastes like factory not home made, the crust is thick, undercooked and overloaded with cheese. The other thing is many places use a conveyor belt and not a traditional pizza oven. Giving them a 3 because they are equal to others in the area and will return if I want a slice because they are close and looked like a family owned vs a chain.

The employee on the tablet eventually complained about having to man the cash register, which was pretty frustrating to hear while everyone was standing around waiting. The girl serving the line was friendly, so I'll give her credit for that, but it took us 20 minutes just to order our food--not 20 minutes to wait in line or to receive it, 20 minutes to actually place our order once it was our turn. I understand being short-staffed, but having one employee serve a line of 10+ people while the other is on a tablet was incredibly frustrating.
