If we could give Tim and Tyler more than 5 stars, we would! When I was buying boxes at a local storage business, there was only one moving business card available: Main Street Movers. I asked the business owners why they displayed only one card and they replied: "Because they are the only moving company we trust!" I've moved many times in my 55 years and had mostly good experiences, but Main Street Movers are the best! They arrived wearing masks per COVID recommendations, and from start to finish they worked very hard. They wrapped all furniture in plastic and treated our items with care while efficiently and carefully moving them. All items arrived at the destination in perfect condition. Tim and Tyler worked with smiles on their faces despite the multitude of stairs involved. I had called around to other companies for quotes and Main Street Movers was the lowest by quite a bit and in some cases by a lot, yet the quality of their work is top notch! In conclusion, I give Main Street Movers my highest recommendation, and I will be recommending them to all my friends! read more

By far, the worse moving company I've ever used. Hugh problem of integrity, poor communication and performing as a company who utilizes another company for providing quotations and partial labor without clear communication and accountability. Attempted to change communications on billing without notice. Lack of follow-up, while leaving my family with a mess. Save your money- find a reputable firm. read more

They are not a very honest buisness. They moved my neighbor in and the moving truck smashed my stone mailbox and destroyed it. First of course they denied all culpability. They claimed anyone could have done it but I explained that the accident happened at a 45 degree angle based on the location of the impact and how the entire mailbox was shifted 45 degrees on the base. A car coming out of the driveway turning makes that angle not anyone coming straight down the road. Then they claimed the clearance of the truck was too high for the damage for which I then verified the impact was exactly at the hight they gave me for the trucks bumper. They asked if I have any proof and I told them a neighbor heard the hit and saw their truck but they claim the truck had left then and my neighbor must be wrong. Then they asked for a damage assessment and I got three independent estimates all roughly I the same ballpark and the owner claimed to be a former real estate agent and my estimates were not realistic. In the end I told her that I am not asking for full payment. I was going to do some repairs anyway and really just looking for the delta for the resurfacing vs full replace now needed. Or really any signs of accountability. However I am not so lucky. So be careful cause they may move things just lets hope they don't damage anything. read more

Main Street Movers - Movers Near Me - Broomfield, Colorado

This is my first time using Main Street Movers, and it was an exceptional experience. Heather was quick to respond and help me coordinate the move with no hidden extra costs involved. Ryan and Chris were my movers and they were very friendly and on point. They did everything I asked them, and hustled while ensuring nothing was damaged. I will definitely recommend them to friends. Thank you! read more

We had a great experience with Main Street Movers! Heather gave us a fair no-nonsense quote directly related to the work to be done (no 'fuel charge as a per cent of the total move', like one of the others). Hourly rate was a great value. Her team was pleasant and worked hard the entire time. Move was completed promptly with no fuss and no surprises. Highly recommend! read more

Best moving experience I have ever had. I have used multiple moving companies throughout the years w/ my properties and hands down the best Main Street Movers take the cake! Very professional and efficient in their moves. read more

This is the second time we have used Main Street Movers. They have really great people working for them who are very careful with our belongings. First time was some 300 boxes and second was 5 pallets that needed to be picked up at trucking company depot and then moved to a storage locker and broken down. Worked out really well. Mike expedited this move so we would not get extra charges at trucking depot. Great firm to work with! read more

You over delivered because our bill was way under the estimate. I cannot tell you how amazing they are! We were concerned about it being a three day move & ended up being a day and a half because they kicked ass! I cannot think of one complaint! Attentive, hard working, helpful, & careful! Thank you so much! We will always recommend Main Street Movers! read more

Fantastic service from the first call to the final box. Mario was our crew chief and made sure to update me during the process. We had four guys total and each and every one couldn't have been nicer. Not typical to want to tell folks how amazing your moving company was, but these guys killed it. read more

These guys kick ass. On time, under budget and no problems. I recommend. Here is filler to make the review long enough.

Hired these guys to move me out of a 3 BR house and into a storage space. I wanted to use a smaller more local business and had to get it done in a hurry. I should have kept looking after the lady estimator quoted like $600 just for packing and was vague about the actual move charge. She also wanted a check upfront the day before the truck & 2 guys were to show up. I was desperate, so I gave her the check but asked her not to deposit/cash it until I went to my bank the next morning. I started getting calls from "Mike" Bonora AND the estimator saying the check was no good, before my bank even opened! They said they wouldn't send the truck until they had the cash "to buy supplies". The 2 guys who finally showed up at 2pm were great and worked until around 8pm. They got half my stuff into the shed and said they would be back the next morning to finish. Next, I get a call (several actually) from "Mike" telling me it's going to cost another $1600 to finish the move! Needless to say they never came back. Avoid this company! "Mike" & his 'Estimator' act more like brokers than a moving company. read more

My last move was the first time I hired movers and I will always hire movers going forward. The movers from Main Street Movers and the whole moving experience were great! They were on time, professional, fast and made moving so easy. read more

We have used these guys multiple times. Fair and straight forward pricing. They bill by the hour but work hard during those hours. You never feel like they aren't working hard. read more

The team I had for my move yesterday were amazing. Ryan, Cesar and Mikey not only moved all my furniture in less than 3 hours start to finish, they also did so smoothly and with great care. I could not be more satisfied with the work they did for my move. Plus they all had fantastic attitudes the entire time. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

Recently used Main Street Movers for a local move and for packing pods for a long distance move. Mike and team were amazing. Very transparent on pricing and took care of all the furniture like it was their own. All movers were very professional and hard working. Scheduling was easy and flexible. While I don't want to move again...I will certainty use Mike and team when I do! read more

This past December 30th, Mike and his crew helped us move into our new down-sizing home. We had a lot of stuff to move from our home and our storage unit into the new home. Additionally, our daughter's furniture and belongings needed to be moved. All of this over the 2019 holiday season. They did an awesome job. They were flexible, responsive, and responsible. Thanks, Mike!!! I would definitely use Mike and the Main Street Movers again. read more

We've moved a dozen times, a couple long distance, mostly local. Main street movers was the best moving experience ever. I don't believe you could find a better company to move you. Very friendly, accommodating and careful crews. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family and friends. Our only regret is we didn't learn about them several moves ago. Thank you Mike and to your crews. read more

Never used movers before, wasn't sure if I would be able to afford it after receiving quotes from other companies. Ended up using Main St Movers and couldn't be happier with our experience. 2 living rooms,3 bedrooms, dining and kitchen all moved in under 4 hours by 2 awesome professionals at a very fair price. Frankly they made a really tough job look easy, with smiles on their faces! 2 thumbs up 5 star recommendation of these guys. read more

We once again had a great experience. Cesar was very professional and the crew showed up early and moved us in about four hours from a third floor apartment. They handled all our fragile items with ease. read more

Where to begin: * Final cost was double the quoted cost * We did half the work carrying things, because it was going so poorly * Arrived to move 3rd story apartment with 2 workers, one of whom was a less than 5 ft tall and about 100 lb * Banged up furniture, floors, and walls * Completely un-apologetic/apathetic read more

Avoid this company! I agree with the other review they act more like brokers than a moving company. They provided help contracted out by our larger moving company when when we moved cross country to CO. The people they sent could not do the work. They could not lift or carry our furniture. They spent a lot of time talking and wanting to share their stories. The truck driver did most of the moving. They got in a disagreement with the driver who didn't want to pay them because of their poor performance. They did not bring adequate tools to set up the beds or things in the house. When I called the company and "Mike" later to follow up, he hung up. The people he sent wore T-shirts with Main Street Movers and 303-604-2008. The whole thing was a fiasco. Avoid this company and the hassle of people arguing in your front yard, while you are trying to move. Very unprofessional. read more

Mike and his crew did a fabulous job. First of all, Mike was available to offer guidance and answer every one of my questions in the month proceeding my move. He did a house call to give me a bid and then stuck to that price, which is not usually the case with movers. On the day of the move the crew arrived on time and worked harder than I've ever seen anyone work (Yay Dave, Jimmy and Teresa!!!) They were friendly and helpful and I felt secure entrusting everything I own to them. Not one thing was broken in the move. Use them, you won't regret it! read more

Terrible!!!! It cost less money and took less time to move from Ft. Collins to Boulder including the hour drive. My roommate and I did most of the work, they scratched up our hardwood floors and furniture. Don't waste your time! read more

After many moves, Mostly tough ones ( aren't they all ), I have finally found the best crew. This Team Jimmy and Jason are totally quick, kind and professional. They carefully and quickly wrapped my things like babies and transported them perfectly. I highly recommend! read more

This was my first paid move experience and was nervous about what to expect. I shouldn't of worried because Cesar and Anthony did an amazing job even showed up early! They did a great job of handling the fragile items and made great time even though we were on the third floor with no elevator. I highly recommend this company and these guys. Professional and courteous thru the whole move. I will use them again. read more

My actual move was a run-of-the-mill move. Three guys showed up for the move. The fees they charged were competitive with other moving companies I checked into. The problems occurred after my move. They absolutely trashed our hardwood floors with snow/ice that melted into a stained mess. Only one blanket was put down and they should have been more prepared with the weather and knew that the floor would be trashed with the back and forth in the elements. The second thing was they broke the entire base of my TV which I only realized after the move. I'm sure they knew the TV was broken but no one said anything. I also couldn't find one shelf for my bookcase and still have not found it several weeks after the move. The most disturbing thing is they had complete disrespect for our property to the extent we had to get the authorities involved. So, needless to say, I would never recommend this company. read more

Well, They did get all my stuff on the truck, and get it to the new place three blocks away in a timely fashion. However, they broke my dining room table, my desk, and an end table in the process. They took pride in not disassembling any of the large pieces, That's fine, I guess. Disassembling can take a whole 10-15 minutes extra, and and re-assembling at the other end is a tad tedious. But then I think it a bit bothersome to go around and patch up the dings in the door trim and walls from where they had to wrestle big items through tight turns and narrow doorways. The dining room table was old. Who needs old stuff. It seems that rather than stand it up on end, and pack stuff around the legs, it made perfect sense to just set it on the floor of the truck and pack mattresses and a futon on top of it - Even after they had pointed out that the legs looked a bit wobbly. Sure enough. the legs collapsed, and all that stuff on top came tumbling down, and broke other furniture. So, disassemble all your big stuff before these guys get to your place, and they will probably do fine at hauling it to your new place. 5/20 - I was told that the boss would contact me about the damaged furniture within the week. Nothing, so far. They fail at follow-up. read more

Exceptional teamwork and cheerful banter with our two guys, Ryan and John, both days on a long distance move. Hard-working. We are thrilled how careful and methodical they were packing. Most of all our house got emptied and the results were excellent. I know some times the planets aren't aligned for those who did not have a good experience but everything worked well for us. We tipped to show how much we appreciated the successful move. Especially pleased with the price. read more

Let me tell you, I've moved more times than I'm willing to admit and the move before using Main Street Movers was a nightmare. I can't tell you how many of my belongings got damaged. My experience with Main Street was one of the best I've ever had. Mike is a man of his word and not a thing got damaged and his crew was on time, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend. read more

After booking w/Mike, I read these reviews and was pretty nervous, but it was too late to change movers. I only needed 2 men for the minimum of two hours plus a truck. I was not moving a household, just getting some furniture hand-me-downs from friends moved to my house. The reason I only gave four stars is because Mike wanted to change times (for the second time) on me the night before the move. After a discussion, he put me back to the original time scheduled. Ryan and John showed up on time with a rental truck and were a joy to work with. They moved all without damage to anything. They were friendly and acted as if they enjoyed their jobs. Maybe the breakfast burritos helped with their pleasantness (always feed people who have to work so hard), we chatted and joked throughout. My only regret is that I didn't have enough money to tip them better. I will use them again. read more

I would give them MORE STARS if I could. We moved on Oct. 31, 2014. They unloaded 2 large moving trucks for us in less than 3 hours with no damaged furniture. The three guys (JIMMY, RANDY AND ERIK) arrived on time (early actually). They asked for our guidelines and then got busy! They checked with us frequently on where we wanted things put, or how. They were cheerful, clean, professional and FAST !!! I would recommend this team to anyone, anytime, anywhere. I'm not kidding, and I'm not related to them...these guys were flat out super. And the price was great, only $360. You won't be disappointed if you hire this team. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. DELIGHTED CUSTOMER!! read more

They charge for a 2 hour minimum. I was told to have them move/unload as much as possible in those 2 hours. They moved me for an hour and tried to leave early and charge for the full 2 hours. There was plenty to move even after they left. The actual work of the movers was good but poor communication. read more

Thanks to Mike and his professional, hard-working, friendly and easy to work with team. Mike was responsive and timely throughout the moving process. His team worked efficiently and hard and finished the exact same move of our furniture in less time and at $800 less than our last moving company. We highly recommend Main Street Movers. read more

I used this company last 7/15 to move my belongings from a rental to storage, that was a great experience, 2 capable young men showed up and completed the move in 3 hours. This prompted me to use them when I moved from storage into the home I purchased. The crew that showed up was 1 young man and a woman I would guess to be in her 60's, I voiced my concern to her and her partner about some of the very heavy furniture I had to move and she said "honey I've been doing this work for 25 years, it'll be fine". Well it was not, she was nice but barely helped the young man working with her, needless to say the identical move that took 3 hours 1 year ago took 5 hours and they ended up having to call 2 other people I have no idea who they were to help get my furniture into the house. The young man worked his tail off but he needed a capable partner. If I had felt I didn't need to strong men to move my belongings I would have had myself and friends move my belongings. I would never recommend this company to anyone for that reason. To be professional you need to consistently perform. read more

My husband and I used these movers to go from a rental house to our new home then again a few months later to move furniture into the garage and then back again into the house when we had hardwood floors put in. We had different movers each time but they were polite, professional, and hardworking. One even helped disconnect and drain our refridgerator as we didn't know it had to be done in advance. When my husband reinstalled the fridge he noticed a piece had cracked on the water intake (a quick google search showed the piece was $80) causing the fridge to leak. He called and spoke to the owner who asked for a photo of the damage and dropped off a check for the cost of the part the very next day. Some people might not give 5 stars for movers that broke something... I felt the piece broke as an accident and not negligence and that the quick and fair response from the company demonstrated exactly what you would hope for when looking for a moving company. I would highly recommend this company too anyone. read more

DO NOT hire Michael's company! He is a scam artist and changes his company name whenever he needs to hide from the people he screws over. He moved me to Colorado many years ago, and did EXTENSIVE damage to my vehicle ($5K), my property, and the property of my landlord. When my Jeep came off his truck, it was gauged down to the bare metal and he tried to tell me that it was like that before. LIAR. Anything glass or mirror was BROKEN. He and his crew damaged the railing in the rental I moved into and I was held accountable. When I sent him my bills for repairs to my home, my Jeep and my property, he made me a ridiculous low offer to compensate me, and then never did anyway. That's when his company was Gulliver Movers. After I got over the shock of this all and settled in, I talked with an attorney and because he closed up that business I could not sue him. Now he is doing business under this new name, but he is the same person underneath. My Attorney says that fraudsters do this all the time - they close up shop when someone wants to sue them instead of doing the right thing. DO NOT use this company. P.S. Michael - karma is a 'B'!! read more
