Then our waitress walks by and says, "he will be out with bread and water in a minute". Sure ok. We get that a few minutes later. Then it's probably another 15 before she even came to take our drink order! I had to catch her as she walked away and ask her to at least put in an appetizer order. We get our appetizer and she didn't even take our food order when she brought it. We were nearly done with it by the time she took our meal order. We wait a while and at 825 I asked a manager walking around how much longer it would be. He checked and said the order was just put in at 806. So she did something else before she put in our order anyway. She comes right behind him and says that it will be about 5 or 6 minutes. Ok. About 10 min later she comes by and says they had to make the aioli but that it's being plated. Ok. Ok. Wooo saaaa ok. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and modern and had a great menu selection. The kids meals are $8 and come with a drink and side. I liked that they were really food just kids size versions.
