Got a cheeseburger with regular fries. The fries were hot and crisp, but picked hairs out of my teeth after eating a few, which turned my stomach and prevented me from eating more. I would have sent it back, but I was in a meeting and didn't want to make a scene, but should have. The burger was just okay, with not much flavor and the buns kept sliding off the contents such that I resorted to eating it with a fork and knife. The thousand island dressing is inexplicably plopped between the burger and veggies, while both buns were naked and needed some doctoring. The menu states that onions are on request which I did, but was told it comes automatically with them. Fine, but when it arrived there were no onions at all so I had to request a side.

Ive reviewed the cafe before, everything is always perfect. Everytime we visit Fallbrook this is our normal breakfast spot. The service is always spot on. Everyone is so friendly and food is great, portions are large. They allowed service dogs and will even cook up something special for your furry friend. I had the avocado cheese omelet and the wife had chocolate chip pancakes. My pup had a burger patty and scrambled egg. Everything was great, not one complaint. All the servers are amazing, you wont leave hungry. Ambiance is always friendly and welcoming, couldnt ask for more

Walked into this little cafe and was instantly greeted by our very nice host a waitress. She treated us like family and was super efficient quick. She brought our food and made sure everything was amazing. The portions here are huge and it's totally worth it! The breakfast burrito was loaded with meat and it even came with a side of fries. The breakfast scramble had chorizo, three eggs, and a healthy serving of hashbrowns, and even came with a side of pancakes! The ambiance was nice and gave old school cafe vibes! There's plenty of street parking all around and even if there isn't, you can park in a side street and make a very short walk to the cafe. So glad I found this place on our roadtrip back home!

Amazing diner-style brunch spot! I occasionally find myself in Fallbrook for work meetings (my company is just a few blocks away), and after hearing great reviews from a coworker, we decided to make it our team lunch spot for the day. We arrived with a group of 7 during peak lunch hours, and to our surprise, we were seated immediately. Very efficient. Our server was friendly, attentive, and checked in often. The outdoor seating was nice and cozy, though we just had a few small guests buzzing around, dressed in black and yellow - early for Halloween. Guess the bees thought we were all sweet like honey. Wish the restaurant could do something about it someday, but what can you do about nature? As for the food: 5-star for a local diner! Our group tried: The Reuben, Gyro, Popeye Omelette, and Chicken Kabob Souvlaki - I'd recommend all of these. My personal order - the Chorizo Skillet (Biscuits & Gravy) was one of the best l've ever had (beats Dennys). Fresh ingredients, generous portions, perfectly seasoned, and the chorizo was very tender (not too greasy). I look forward to returning, and seeing my yellow friends again.

We had an incredible experience at Main Street Cafe, mainly thanks to the delicious food, relaxing ambiance, and 5 star service. Susie (Sue) took great care of us with her fun personality and contagious energy! We highly suggest eating here & hope to visit again soon (Susie Q, if you read this, we'll see you at the Canyon Club! )

The food here is very good. I loved my veggie skillet, so many vegetables and it tasted very fresh. The home fries soaked up all the yummy juices. Biscuit and gravy was also solid and my husband loved his The Works omelette. Friendly service. We sat in the back patio which was fine, but I think i'd recommend sitting out front if the weather is nice next time!

We're so happy we found Main Street Cafe! It was our first time here and I actually came across it on Yelp while searching for a breakfast spot since our niece was visiting from Texas. We were all starving and this spot was exactly what we needed. I only like corned beef hash when it comes from a can -- not when it's freshly made -- it's so much better and I don't care what anyone says! I was so happy they had exactly that! The waffle was crispy and delicious. The pancake wasn't fluffy, more like a crepe, delicious and the strawberries were super fresh. My niece loved her vegetarian skillet and Martin chose polish sausage and devoured his Southern Skillet. What also made this spot stand out was the service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The whole place has a cozy hometown vibe where you feel like everyone knows everyone. Can't wait for our next visit!

Hubby and I just moved to Fallbrook and have been looking for "our casual go-to brunch spot". WE FOUND IT . Food: generous, yummy, pancakes to club sandwiches- u will have left overs. Service: outstanding, friendly, smiles, warm, and they want you to enjoy your food. Ambiance: Super fun, retro, history, enjoy sitting in or out. We returned several times and brought out of town guests (who loved it). Main Street Cafe thank you for helping us feel at home in our new city .

One of my favorite breakfast spots in all of San Diego. Their food is always delicious and they have lots of good options. My favorite is the country omelette, it was amazing. Their hash browns were perfect and it's a gem of a cafe. I would definitely recommend this spot, the staff are super friendly and it has a nice vibe.

This is the cutest café located in downtown Fallbrook. We came here for brunch and you can tell there's a lot of history in character in this place. . From out front, the venue looks small, but expands as you go inside and even has a back patio. There are nautical striped umbrellas on the street patio with purple and white colors. We were part of a large group so we had several tables and two booths set up for us inside towards the back of the café. . After getting our drink order, I got the orange juice which tasted very fresh, we had some time to peruse the menu, which is huge and contains all of your standard diner/café food plates and dishes. . I know what I like and I'm willing to try it in different places so I got the Huevos rancheros which comes with tortillas refried beans, a side salad, tortillas, a choice of fresh fruit, hashbrowns, or home fries and two eggs cooked to your liking. I asked one of our servers if it came with avocado and she assured me it did, but when it didn't, she brought me a side of it anyway. My partner got the Main St., Café omelette and a cup of coffee. The food was phenomenal. I damn near cleaned my plate. The portions are large so be sure to come with a big appetite. . I really like how cozy and intimate this place is. Probably really great for first dates and you can tell from the decor and Alcolade along the walls that Main St., Café is a neighborhood staple and I have been around for many years. . If you're ever in the Temecula area, and are looking for a local spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch with good service and history flare be sure to check them out.

This most recent visit we had their vegan avocado cookies but I didn't love it. I'm not sure if it was too sweet or too salty. It just tasted a bit off. My kids both had a couple bites and didn't want anymore, which is odd for them to not eat sweets. We also had a tropical sunrise smoothie, which I tried and it was good. One of my daughter's liked hers and the other was picky and said it tasted different. Hubby and I ordered lattes with oat milk. Unfortunately, the Mexican mocha powder mix contains dairy since they use the LA Abuelita Brand of mix (owned by Nestle and not the true OG Mexican chocolate, check out Ibarra instead). So we ended up with vanilla and hazelnut lattes instead with oat milk. We took our goodies to go and service was friendly and quick. In the past, I recall more vegan pastries so I'm a bit disappointed that the only option was a cookie. Anyway, I would likely return if I'm meeting up with friends or in the area for a drink, but wishing they had more vegan friendly options. Plenty of seating inside. The door was a little funky to open/close. Bathrooms inside. Street parking or free parking in the lot across the street from the gem society.
