The blue wellness (blue spirulina, pineapple, banana, almond butter, date, coconut cream, hemp heart, and almond milk) is my favorite smoothie, I always get protein added for an after-workout snack. The acai bowl is a must try, it's so fresh and flavorful. They also have coffee, breakfast dishes and salads. The service is always top tier here, I'm always greeted by a friendly face. Deeky who works there is the best, she always takes her time to explain different menu items to me and gives great recommendations. The vibe is always peaceful, you can grab something to go or dine in. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Located in the CBD so be prepared to pay for parking.

My rating is based on this dish the avocado toast and arugula salad and that for the price, which is reasonable... I can't imagine a better version of avocado toast. My wife ordered a steak Frites well well done and half of her portion slices were medium rare. We started with deviled eggs those were tasty I can recommend that and the shrimp cocktail was good enough. The crab salad was bland it needed something else to liven up the flavor a spoon luck of mayo maybe some pepper or salt. Pepper and salt and all the condiments are on the table which I've never a fan of it. The fine dining restaurants think it means they fancy but this food wasn't fancy the place was nice. The Service needs to be retrained. We ate here because we were seeing the old-fashioned Magic show at Eliza Jane next-door and if you wanna come in for some apps or maybe try or the other entrées I didn't find anything. I really wanted to try because I'm not a big fan of French food I guess I should've tried the duck. There may be some good food here, but I won't be back till to find out we were both underwhelmed. Hopefully they fix the problems if somebody else gives a better review, but I cannot. We both agree the french fries were good. Ambience is pretty good with their remodeling so the bathroom was like a 5 to 10 minute wait it's only one person at a time and women kept using the men's room because it's only. So I had to wait two times for women to come out. Single serve bathrooms definitely are not adequate, but they're doing the best they can during remodeling.

The room is elegant and there is often live jazz on site. Service was good, slightly on the slow side especially with drinks. I think their bar can get pretty swamped. That being said, they actually made a mistake and gave us an extra cocktail each, on the house. Food was all nice, pretty standard, meant to please everybody it seemed. The shrimp & grits were great I will say!

Made a reservation on OpenTable but definitely wasn't needed on a Friday evening as there were plenty of tables available. Service was definitely slow throughout the night, but our waitress was very nice. Best part of the place was being able to eat dinner with the music. We started with the bread basket and crab cake appetizer. Bread basket is only $3 but everything was cold, seemed not worth it. The crab cakes were okay but seemed fairly small portion wise (3 small crab cakes). I had the BBQ shrimp and grits which was actually good, however my husband had the redfish which tasted and smelled "fishy" and was very bland. There was nothing special or tasty about it. Dessert was good though-would get the bananas foster bread pudding again. FYI you can order some of the food options (not necessarily entrees but snacks and dessert) at Davenport Lounge. Will definitely stick with this next time and avoid the restaurant.
