I had been to Cadence prior and was pretty much told that unless I had purchased one of THEIR bikes, there was nothing they could do for me!!! Anthony was fantastic at Trek. Got my bike tuned up and I ended up purchasing an expensive Thule bike rack and a bunch of accessories. He was knowledgeable and happy to help me any way he could as I was a newbie e-bike rider. Ardmore Trek ( and the entire staff) understand the lifetime value of a customer. Today's minor repair often leads to a future customer. My next REAL e-bike will be from Trek Ardmore because of Anthony and the staff. These guys deserve your business, They really "get it". Scott Messinger

I thought that maybe the shifter or front derailleur may have been bad. Johnathan took all of 5 seconds to diagnose and fix the problem. It seems that the cable from the shifter to the front derailleur was way too loose. I offered him money for his time and expertise, but he said it was "on the house for such an easy repair!" Johnathan is an expert mechanic and an all-around good guy! He did a similar repair about two years ago on a Cannondale mountain bike that I brought in. I'm pretty sure he didn't charge for that, either. From now on, Johnathan will be my go-to bike mechanic! I would happily give Havertown Bike Shop more stars if possible. Truth is, most people don't really know what they're talking about when it comes to cycling, myself included. So it's great to have a staff that will actually tell you what's best for you, rather than just smile and nod while you make the wrong choices based off of misinformation you read on a blog ten years ago. Both bikes, so far, have been for my daughter. Based on the care and direction they've shown me and my daughter over the past four years on these relatively smaller purchases, I feel confident that I can trust Keswick Cycle to help me make the right choice when it's time for me to upgrade my own bike. I came in to finish installing new tri bike handlebars and to bleed the brakes. The brake bleeding was $75 each, $150 total. My hometown shop charges $25 each, for $50 total and recently serviced my brakes in the same hour I dropped the bike off. Not to mention in a state that has a higher cost of living than Pennsylvania. I was in no rush at keswick but the quickest they could finish my bike was in 2.5 weeks. Needless to say I was out $350 for the entire procedure and even had to go back the next day because my headset cap was crooked. My husband brought the bike back and and the mechanic said it looks crooked because my bars are crooked. With no alteration the bike came back to me and although the bars and wheels are straight, the cap is still crooked. And the brakes are pretty loosely bleed on the right and tighter on the left, which is very lazy and poor attention to detail. I wish I could get my money back but having moved away I can't go back in. At least my bikes don't have to come here again.
