Good Drinks for the parents and grandparents
Rafael S.

At Family Kitchen; great welcome and service by Jacob. He also prepares a good Margarita and caters to our granddaughters wishes of special Icee mixes. Great vibe and ambiance. Our granddaughters ages 9 & 6 are delighted. Food is mediocre but not bad. It is what you would expect at an arcade / bowling. The front desk folks are not good at explaining what the place is all about, but you can figure it out. Better experience thanks to Jacob and the team there.

We recently attended a Christmas Breakfast event at Main Event. I signed us up some my son's birthday was on the same day and figured it would be a good way for him to play since he didn't want a party. For the event & purchase of a ticket, they provided breakfast, cookie decorating, picture with Santa, "snowball" fight, plus game play and other activities. It was a fun event and ask the workers were great. I'd do it again if my kiddos wanted to.

Here to review this masterpiece of a dessert probably over 5,000 calories. It's a huge pile of junk mixed together but somehow my sweet tooth thought it was pretty good!

Well we know it's no D&B but can some upgraded games be added to this place. Was disappointed when I drove here to play bowling and it was rented out by a church , bummer. Lots of little kids work here, and they are just as confused as me on a hot day in winter. No coordination, no communication.

Came to Main Event for a work party and oh my goodness, it was a blast! The service was great and the food was delicious as well. I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and it was SO YUMMY!!! Also y'all, don't forget to order their AMAZING dessert! It had ice cream, brownies, cookies, sour strips, and donut holes, which is a little something for everyone! I also loved their laser tag arena and they kept it at a nice colder temperate as well in the area since you'll be moving around quite a bit! Would definitely come back here next time because it was so much Dunn

Delish! One thing I love about this place is how customizable everything is. I swapped the regular fries for sweet potato fries and WOW... so good. Knowledgeable, warm, and brought us a complimentary Reuben egg roll to try unprompted. That's the kind of hospitality you remember. Wife's Cajun pasta came home in a box because we were too full to finish. Blood orange margarita was one of the best of the year. $136.40 total for a full date night including multiple drinks. Exceptional value for the quality. SAS Verdict: Approved. CraftWay punches well above its weight. The server alone is worth the visit.

The host confirmed the reservation right away and even sent me a confirmation text, followed by a reminder message the day before. This was a planned group reservation that was confirmed multiple times. On Tuesday when I made the reservation, I was also told it would be Bollywood and Tollywood night, which was one of the reasons our group chose this place. When we arrived, they were playing almost exclusively South Indian songs. We had to ask the live singer four times before he finally played a couple of Bollywood Hindi songs. This was disappointing because the music theme we were told to expect did not match what was actually happening. When we arrived, we were told our table was upstairs. I explained that our reservation was confirmed for downstairs by the DJ area. The host acknowledged that the downstairs table had been given to another party and claimed they tried calling me. I immediately took out my phone and asked when they called and whether they left a voicemail. There were zero missed calls and no voicemail. I asked multiple times and only received apologies. The reality is, no one called me, and our confirmed table was simply given away. We were then seated near the entrance with people constantly walking in and out. For a group our size, this was a poor seating choice and set the tone for the night. Service was extremely slow from the start. It took about 20 minutes just to get water. It took around 25 minutes for the server to take drink orders. At that point, I walked to the bar myself to order a drink because nothing was happening. About 35 minutes later, the server came back to take food orders. I ordered a single appetizer, cashew chicken. After one hour of waiting, I asked about it and was told it was getting ready. Another 30 minutes passed, still nothing. After roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes total, I was told the appetizer had been given to another table by mistake and that they could reorder it, but it would take another 30 minutes. This was for one appetizer, not even an entrée. Several people in our group had similar delays with both drinks and food. There was no real accountability. No manager came over to explain what happened. There was no attempt to comp anything or make the situation right. We were expected to accept slow service, multiple mistakes, and poor communication. To top it off, an 18 percent gratuity was added automatically despite the poor service, and the drinks were watered down. The entire group left disappointed. This was supposed to be a fun group night and turned into frustration. I would not recommend this place for group reservations, and we will not be returning.

We walked into the bar 90 minutes before kickoff and found a table in the middle of the bar that could accommodate our party and had good viewing of the screens. As we went to sit down, a man approached us and told us that the table we were sitting at was for some "regulars" and asked us to move. The table had no sign on it that it was reserved and this man did not identify himself as an owner or manager of the establishment. Choosing to take the high road, I moved our group to another table that could accommodate our party that was off to the side. Sure enough, the "regulars" came rolling in shortly before kickoff to their "unreserved" reserved table. This is just bad business. And discourages people who are not "regulars" from coming to the bar. I regularly attend a Chicago Bears bar in Los Angeles where I live and have never had such issues. There are no unspoken "reserved" tables for "regulars." It's completely first come, first serve as it should be. If you want your "regulars" to have their table waiting for them when they arrive, just stick a reserved sign on it. Or tell them to get there early. Not difficult. We also waited forever for our drinks while the "regulars" at their "unreserved" reserved table were kept fully stocked. The service and the food was mid anyway and not worth the price. Trust me, I picked up what you were laying down. We aren't regulars, so it's whatever. I won't be back.

The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. The menu is simple and delicious and the perfect example of knowing exactly what you want to deliver and executing it perfectly. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in Frisco, Dad Jokes Cheesyburger is worth the drive from Dallas County. The restaurant's indoor seating is very small, but the outdoor seating when the weather is nice (March or October) adds to the laid-back vibe that caters to everyone from families to hardcore burger lovers. 1 Star. Service - This is counter service with a smile! The staff will take your order, you get your own drinks, and when your name is called your food is ready. On my visit I got to meet the great Clayton (owner/proprietor/dad joke expert). He was super nice, told me a dad joke, and he is a great follow on Instagram. 1 Star. Food - Dad Jokes Cheesyburger caught my attention because of the OK Burger. This popular burger smashes onions directly into the patty. I made mine a double and was rewarded with a big, juicy, beefy bite with onion flavors that complemented (not over-powered) the bite. I paired with the Smoked Tots. These super crunchy and tasty tots are paired with chili, chives, and smokey BBQ sauce. It's hard to top tots - unless you top it with chili. It was less of a side or more of a hearty side dish - a perfect complement to my OK Burger. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I heard about the OK Burger and made the 40-minute drive from Irving-Las Colinas to Frisco. Not only would I repeat the drive, but I would also invite my friends to join me and for some tasty bites and jokes. I hope they don't get EXHAUSTED. 1 Star.
