I spoke with Jose, who was opening the store, and asked if someone could check the back for my package. Instead of simply checking, he immediately got irritated and started arguing that there were "too many boxes" to go through. I explained that since it hadn't been scanned yet, it had to still be there and I needed to correct the address. After huffing and acting like it was a huge inconvenience, he finally went to look -- and found it almost instantly. For context: he opened the doors at 8:29 AM, and we were out by 8:36 AM. No other customers were waiting. There was no reason for the attitude. What bothered me even more was what I saw while he and another employee were searching. They weren't moving boxes carefully -- they were literally throwing them. Not sliding, not setting down... tossing them across the back room. So if you've ever wondered why your packages arrive damaged, I can tell you exactly why. I've spent a lot of money at this location over the years, but if they can't handle packages with care or speak to customers respectfully, I'll happily take my business somewhere else.

I never had problems with anyone working here with an attitude... they are kept to themselves most of the time paying attention to details and minding their work and not just standing around. When the line gets longer, employees in the back has the initiative to help out in the front to get the line moving. I only drop off or pick up my packages here, this is my favorite UPS franchise so far. They lend you their packing tape with no hesitation whatsoever unlike other UPS franchise.

The shipment I needed today was sent priority overnight as it is a refrigerated, time-sensitive $30,000+ medication. Since tomorrow is Christmas, and you won't be delivering, if it does not arrive to be refrigerated by close of business tonight--which I do not have great faith in occurring--I will have to reschedule a multi-hour very crucial neurological treatment that has to be scheduled months in advance. Not receiving this treatment presents life-threatening issues. The agent who opened the ticket was snippy and condescending. He actually had the audacity to blame the shipper for not binding the 3 packages under the master tracking number together when I mentioned that I'd only received 1 of 3 boxes on the shipment. I did not appreciate that at all. I worked handling and arranging the shipping and logistics of highly sensitive and confidential documents for government and medical investigations of a Fortune 250 company for 20 years. Often times this included transport of thousands of boxes cross country. So you'll no doubt understand why such a cavalier attitude, incomplete response, and then closing my ticket when there hasn't even been resolution as FedEx has not yet even fulfilled its obligation and delivered my medication is unfathomable and completely mind-boggling to me. I have also notified the shipper of these egregiously unacceptable and disturbing events in hopes that eventually it may help prevent such occurrences in the future...because sadly this hasn't been an isolated incident for my family in dealing with FedEx.
