I've frequented this location on several occasions over the past 4-5 months. I've used them for…read moreseveral prepaid label returns and notary for my minor daughters passport application. For the most part the service has been to transactional too great, everything that you anticipate on several visits to a business. Since most of my business with this company has been prepaid label returns, I typically try to buy something like tape or stamps as I know they're not being compensated much and I do appreciate them being here and like to support locally own small businesses whenever possible. However today, I encountered something that was very disappointing and will very likely cause me to never to patronize this place again. It was a small slight, but a peak behind the drapes on how my business is appreciated. I entered the store today about 10 seconds behind another customer(woman). The individual behind the counter was involved in a conversation with a man, upon seeing me walk in she left the conversation and begin to help the woman that entered ahead of me. They spoke about packaging options, shipping rates etc the usual. While this is happening I'm standing calmly and patiently looking around at the advertising, poster board on how they bounced back from Harvey and trying to think of things that I can also purchase. I'm in no rush, I just ate lunch, I'm good. The individual behind the counter, looked away from the woman she was helping for a moment to ask me in a harried tone after looking at my envelope and label if I was just dropping off or if I needed any additional assistance. I responded that I was "dropping off, but wanted to get a receipt too." The usual as I had did on many occasions before Her reply and very harshly to me was "Well you'll going to have to wait, I'll get to you when I'm done" Like where the eff did that come from. I hadn't said a word to this individual and was minding on business calmly and patiently. Both of the other customers turned to me in surprise and another worker in the back stopped what she was doing and brought her gaze to me as well. Taken aback by her tone I responded that "no, I don't have an issue with waiting" and contemplated just walking out, but I already had waited about 5 minutes and had too much sunken cost. I was being lazy. The worker in the back got up quickly and assisted me. I thanked her and walked out to if possible NEVER return. I feel that the only reason I was spoken to in this way was based on my race. Every other person in that building was an older white woman or a middle aged white man with his annoying kid. I could feel the uneasiness in the room once i stepped in. As everyone keep looking at my hands like I was going to rob the place or something. On the drive I realized all of my previous experiences the staff were younger and consisted of the worker that ultimately helped me in a managerial role.

The first time I only brought collared shirts to be pressed and a suit jacket to be cleaned. I wanted to test and see if they were a good dry cleaner.They were done quickly and I like that you can text "express" 10 mins prior to pick up and they'll have it ready to bring out to you when you pull up. Since they did a good job on the first batch, I brought all my husband's and I suit jackets and more shirts and khaki pants to be pressed and cleaned. I have a mint green suit jacket that had coffee stains all over the collar and sleeves. I've had it cleaned at another dry cleaners in Katy months ago and they told me it was nothing more they can do. I asked Tide to clean and press it and wallah! 90% of the stains are gone from the jacket I'm so happy. I haven't been able to wear this in almost a year. The staff is very nice and attentive as well. After one pick up they forgot to give me two items of clothing. I was able to call and speak with the manager and by the end of the next day they had found my missing pieces. Excellent cleaning and press service. The price is definitely worth it. Each batch of clothes I take usually ends up being roughly $90-100 dollars and I typically take 2-3 suits and 5-10 shirts. All in all a great dry cleaners!

Otherwise, I would've had to drive for nearly an hour to another UPS Store. Any-whoo, yes, there was a line leading outside the door upon my arrival and I showed up pretty close to opening. There were only two reps at the counter, but they helped to move things pretty quickly, even with all the customer questions, etc. Again, I was nervous about what type of customer service I would encounter here based on the reviews, but the gentleman who assisted me was extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable and funny. In between cracking jokes about the weather, he gave me a run down on what to expect in terms of my return and the cable company. I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes; again, there was a heavy crowd early in the AM, and with only two clerks working, I feel they did an excellent job. In short, I wont be anxious to return to this location should the need arise! Win Win!
