Truthfully, based on the reviews, I was petrified of coming to this location. But I had to return my WiFi equipment and this was the location closest to me. Otherwise, I would've had to drive for nearly an hour to another UPS Store. Any-whoo, yes, there was a line leading outside the door upon my arrival and I showed up pretty close to opening. There were only two reps at the counter, but they helped to move things pretty quickly, even with all the customer questions, etc. Again, I was nervous about what type of customer service I would encounter here based on the reviews, but the gentleman who assisted me was extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable and funny. In between cracking jokes about the weather, he gave me a run down on what to expect in terms of my return and the cable company. I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes; again, there was a heavy crowd early in the AM, and with only two clerks working, I feel they did an excellent job. In short, I wont be anxious to return to this location should the need arise! Win Win! read more

Service ranked below zero. I went here in need of a notary. As I approached the desk, the young man was telling a Spanish speaking customer that he could not notarize their document because it was written in Spanish. As I was next in line I said well I need a notary and sat my document down in front of him with my signature on it. He stated I have to observe you signed no the document. I thought easy fix as I crossed out my previous signature and signed the document with the notary as my witness. He said that's not good enough! He said he still could not sign my document!!?!???? I'm confused! Are you a notary or not??? Don't waste your time going here for service. read more

Customer service is awful. I arrived at 2:10 and was 4th in line of 9 individuals. The woman with dark hair and green bangs and several piercings in her face waited on me. She was rude when she told me the cost of the fax and I replied that's fine. Then she proceeded to tell me to move she was going to wait on others while it transmitted. I was taken back because there is all sorts of ways to say that respectfully. This caught the attention of several other customers. I stepped back and waited. After she helped one customer I said looks like the fax is done, hoping to finish the transaction and leave. She replied you "HAVE" to wait for the transmission confirmation sheet. I said no problem. I began a conversation with my daughter and she abruptly said loudly "I can hear you" I said, "pardon me I am having a conversation with my daughter". After her taking her time and finishing with the second customer who she was abrupt with as well I stepped up and nicely asked her for her first name. Her reply was "we are closed!" I said excuse me? I was confused I asked again her first name and she replied, "Why so you can write me up"? I replied well actually yes I do intend of reporting this behavior. She took my money and told me I should have come in earlier and that I need to leave. Then she proceeded to say how difficult her job is and we have no idea, my daughter replied that it's not that difficult to be nice. Then the employee told us again to leave. Arrived, they weren't opened around noon-group of people were waiting around outside. They were quick enough to cycle people through once they did open, but the front and back door were open and the manager went and took a smoke break in the back-could smell it all throughout. Gentleman I had was thorough and kind, the other employee (female) was quick on getting people in and out but watched as she was a bit short with customers, repeated a request 3x in a row for a woman's ID while she was working to get it out. EDIT: 3 days after I posted my review, the owner reached out to me, cancelled my account, and refunded me my year-long renewal that was about 30 days old. I have since moved my business to another location. I am revising from 2 stars to 4 for them "making this right" for me. I am leaving the post up, however. Again. They are clean. They are friendly. They are professional. But they close around holidays for much greater lengths of time than other locations, which can adversely impact your service. Original review: Ok... I've been a UPS store customer for 4 years, and a customer of this location for 2 years. We dont have to fuss with packages disappearing off doorsteps, or being in the weather, or not having someone home to sign.. Great concept. The good: This location is clean, staffed, friendly, everything you would want from one of these franchises EXCEPT... This location's owners like to take lots of time off around the holidays. Which means the store is closed. Which means you cant get the things you had shipped to you and couldn't pick up the day before. Christmas 2017 they closed a few days before Xmas and as a result a last minute gift we had enroute was not able to be retrieved until after Xmas.. forcing us to go buy another one locally in order not to ruin the holiday surprise. The only notice was a sign on the door. Christmas 2018 this location closed on December 22 and did not reopen until December 27. I had damaged an apple product and had the replacement shipped to the store. It arrived on the 21'st and when I went to the location the next morning there was a sign on the door stating they would be closed from 12/22-27. So the way Apple works on repairs/returns is you pay a lump sum and if you dont get your device back to them within 10 days of them shipping it, you lose your lump sum. At this point, this holiday of theirs will cost me somewhere between $180-$300 because they were closed the Friday and Saturday before Christmas. I've asked them in the past if they can make notifications to their customers in the same manner that they announce a package arriving, or your account being due for renewal.. but so far they can only manage to put up a sign in their store window a few days beforehand. If you dont go to the store every day, you wont know. The other gripe I have is that this location is charging me more than $120 more a year for the same box that another franchise does on an alternate route home. Too bad I just renewed my box in November. No refunds. All sales final. I wish now I'd actually stopped in that other store when we moved out here.. UPS stores are an awesome concept, but this location has burned us enough with their special holiday hours that other stores (the one I used to use, and the new one I'm moving my business to) dont observe. I will not be renewing. I get closing for holidays. I get closing early the day before. I dont get closing a retail business centered around SHIPPING for 5 days in the busiest shipping season of the year. I guess they got their money up front with the upcharge on the mailboxes. If this isn't an issue you will love this location. read more

Thanks Yelp for having this location listed! I was looking for a facility to drop off an amazon return. Went straight here. Even the picture of the hours posted in Yelp is the same! One person was at the counter when I arrived helping another customer. I may have waited 1 minute when another person came from the back to help me. Worst ever. Avoid this place like the plague, especially for notary services! Waited over an hour to be seen for a notary that took 30 seconds. Sara was the notary - she was rude and had NO idea what she was doing. Rolled her eyes at us, talked over us and the person she was helping. She had a line out the door and was commanding the young man she worked with to do everything. The young man told us that she had been working on the same shipment for over 2 hours. We asked her if she'd be able to do our notary quickly while the client she was helping was outside on the phone. Sara told us "you'll just have to wait". The people here are not multi-taskers by any means. Rude. And extremely long wait times. Again, AVOID. Especially Sara - management, you should have a talk with her. read more

Had he not assisted me by helping me I would've never gotten this done I just want to say that you have a valuable employee there he's very helpful. Carman does not to be employed here. I usually have no issues here but today there were clearly issues between the 3 boys working there. The young man Carman who helped me had an awful demeanor and condescending attitude when I asked him a simple question. The young woman there was the only on who seemed care about anything. I have used this store several times for notary and mailing. But a delay in a critical overnight package that means my daughter may not have her ID for a flight home after 6 days of waiting on my overnight package means I will drive right by to FedEx office in Kingwood. Very nice people, but UPS customer service is horrific-I refuse to give them any more money. Poor communication via tracking (just kept telling me delivery time unavailable), lies (saying they would have dispatch call me and then have no record of the conversation) and excessive hold times (3 calls with almost 2 hours total hold time so far and no delivery even schedul Go Fedex when you have to trust it will get there! PS:no refund able yo be issued despite my overnight package being delayed by 5 days, and even though I had to drive and pick it up. Plus, no notary present on a Saturday. No longer a customer here!! This is the best UPS Store I've ever been to. I'm an internet retailer and just dropped off 8 large boxes with all prepaid shipping labels. In this case the store makes no money off this drop off. First, my experience did involve a package not of normal sizing so I do understand my situation will be vastly different from most people. I just moved to the area and needed to ship a product I sold on eBay and found this place. Upon entering I was greeted with a very professional personality. I say professional because there was no excitement or enjoyment in the greeting, just an extremely formal greeting. This isn't a bad thing but just something I wanted to make note of. When I showed them my item which needed to be boxed up, I was told immediately that they probably didn't have anything that would work and sent me to another store that may have the box. Again, this isn't necessarily a bad thing but it was a bit disappointing to have to drive 10 miles further out of my way just to get a box. So, I wouldn't say my experience was bad just lackluster and inconvenient. read more

Now to start off with. The young man who works here is absolutely amazing! I adore him! He's always so considerate and an absolute class act. The lady who I had the unfortunate fate of working with today was quite the opposite. So rude. Keep in mind I'm exhausted, pregnant, and dragging my toddler around with me. On most Amazon returns keep in mind it says "no box required" being absent minded I failed to see that one needed to be boxed up. This un empathetic women who sees me struggling had the nerve to say I should "remember to read next time". In the most condescending tone ever. Now, I understand it was my mistake and I apologized. But, when I said sorry she said nothing. She was so put off. It was unreal... I did feel bad for a quick second till her ugliness continued to show it's ugly face. I've had a PO box at a UPS store for 9 years, and have always had good experiences. Today I went to ship a prepaid UPS package and the staff refused to put a simple piece of tape on the box to make it more secure. Keep in mind the box is only 6"x4"x3". This exact store has done this in the past (as recently as 1.5 months ago) as well as other stores, and this time they pointed to the retail rack and told me to buy a roll of packing tape. I will forego using a prepaid UPS label and pay out of pocket at FedEx instead. Do not expect customer service at this location. read more

This morning at 810am I went this store, to pick up a package that customer service agent told me was available for pick up after 8am. The lady behind the desk was arguing with an older gentleman about something. When my turn reached I explained to the lady why I was at the store, which was to pick up my package. Before I completed my reason she shut me up by saying, we are not ups we are ups store. I don't have your package. I then asked her "how can you not have my package without checking for tracking number?" She then asked for my last name, which I had to repeat like 6 times. I understand I have an accent and my words may not be clear but spelled it for her. I asked her what her problem was! she went on to pick argument. Overall I told the lady that my business was to pick up the package and leave and her opinions or poor etiquette poor personal skills, unprofessionalism and disrespect was very unfortunate.
