Otherwise, I would've had to drive for nearly an hour to another UPS Store. Any-whoo, yes, there was a line leading outside the door upon my arrival and I showed up pretty close to opening. There were only two reps at the counter, but they helped to move things pretty quickly, even with all the customer questions, etc. Again, I was nervous about what type of customer service I would encounter here based on the reviews, but the gentleman who assisted me was extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable and funny. In between cracking jokes about the weather, he gave me a run down on what to expect in terms of my return and the cable company. I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes; again, there was a heavy crowd early in the AM, and with only two clerks working, I feel they did an excellent job. The lady (possibly the owner?) went out of her way to give me a good quote among FedEx, UPS and a host of other shippers, putting the shipment in an envelope just the right size to help me keep the cost down. It was clear that she has repeat clients, as a regular in cowboy boots came in just after me. I liken it to PostalAnnex or the UPS Store, as she has a wall of shipping supplies, a machine for getting keys made, mailboxes for rent and also a large-format printer. There are also notary services available. But the lady seemed as sweet (and thorough) as ever! I love to shop local, I love to shop small so Spring Postal & Business Center had all the bells and whistles. I'm glad to add it to Yelp.

I called around needing a document notarized, and most places no longer offered that service or I needed to coordinate a time around their schedule. Thankfully, The Wrap & Mail Room offers notary at any time (no appointment necessary) and for $6 cash or card. I dropped in and also picked up a cute mother's day card, as they have a cute selection of cards made by a local artist (err, Austin... but it's Texas). They also have gift wrapping services, along with it being a mail room.
