I paid $155 for a package to be sent overnight, on second day and still no package has arrived. I called store and talked to untrained employee, she said her name was Monica, but now figured out she lied to me and her name was Jasmin. She was very untrained and told me information that wasn't accurate. I spoke the Manager Will, he was very professional and told me why it wasn't shipped(weather in Kentucky is what I was told as packages sent from Houston to go to MS have to go through Kentucky is what I was told). Was told I will receive zero refund, can't imagine any reputable company no refunding for something that was paid for but didn't happen. Will never do business again with UPS!! read more

Went there to return some items and print something out. Dude with the messy ponytail was rude. I go up to return my item, he immediately tells me, "We can't take it in see-through bag." Bag wasn't see-through, but ok. So I was like, ok I'll just print my items. But, then I go back to my car to see if I have a solid color bag to put the return in. I found one. I go back in the store and at the front of the line he is helping someone with the same bag from the same store, sending back a return. But guess what, he accepts her return just as is. "See-through" bag and all. I look at the lady's package and then I look him square in the eyes. I couldn't for the life of me understand how he can take that package but not mine. So by the time I get to the front of the line, again. (Because, yes, I had to get back in the line that was out of the door.) He sees me at the front of the line then starts moving fast. And, surprise, it's time for him to go to the back. Smh. Couldn't help me with my return that I had to go back out to the car to get extra packaging. What irritated me was that he made an exception for someone else with the same packaging I had. Also, I had to spend extra time getting back in line. Also, he couldn't even help me by the time I got back to the front of the line. I just find it weird and rude behavior. read more

They totally messed up shipping a package that was extremely time sensitive, its lost, they tracking number won't work so can't even file a claim and they are taking no responsibility for it. They were training a new worker and obviously did not assure that she knew what was happening and now we are paying the price. Not only I am out the shipping fee I am out the cost of replacing the item and sending via anyone but UPS. I will drive 10 miles out of the way to NEVER step foot in this store again. Total Christmas fail for UPS and UPS Store 1571 in Kingwood! We spent $58 for guaranteed delivery on Dec 23rd. The mailing address was stored in Store 1571's system, as we have send packages from there before. But UPS delivery claimed that no such address existed and returned the package to UPS Store 1571. Although the address turned out to be correct, the singularly defensive and unhelpful young man waiting on us said they would not re-send our package or refund our money. "Call UPS. It's not our fault!" I guess the UPS Store actually has no affiliation with UPS and takes no responsibility for their screw-ups. WHAT A SCAM! We'll use PostalAnnex+ or Mail & More next time. read more

I went in to have a document notarized and Christina immediately scolded me for having signed the form prior to bringing it in. If she would have looked at the paperwork first she would have seen that that particular form was not what needed notarized. She then got angry when I tried to show her the order of the documents and what belonged to what and she rudely started snatching the papers saying that she would not notarize it for me if I kept touching the documents. At this point I told her what I thought of her demeanor and it was on as she continued to argue with me. I used to be a notary and I never had any issues with the customer showing me the proper order of the documents. Next I went to Postal Annex and in a few minutes had the documents notarized with excellent customer service. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND DECEITFUL EMPLOYEES. This store sells services that they do not honor. The owner/manager is NOT customer service focused and is quick to point blame and stand by the lies that her employees tell. We were sold a premium service with guaranteed two-day delivery for a 7 lb box and was charged $118. The package took 4 days instead of two days and when asked about it and requesting a refund .... the owner/manager would not reimburse us or compensate us for the two delay in delivery and failure to arrive within the guaranteed delivery time. We were told they don't sell a two-day guaranteed service when clearly they do and it shows as such on the UPS site. It is a great way to make extra money on their behalf and bait and switch their customers. When we told them that we would never use their services again, their response is we aren't welcome there. We will take this up with their parent company and with UPS. read more

after having dozens of positive experiences at other UPS Store locations, I am 0-2 at this location First time was to ship a check over-night 150 miles away. Cost was ~$15 which was a significant premium over FedEx (and I have had no complaints with FedEx).. but i needed a tracking number and it was 'convenient'. Regardless of the additional cost, it was about convenience right?? I'm unsure what management does, but there was some significant unprofessionalism going on behind the counter (bad-talking others.. not even sure if it was a customer or another worker.. but ultimately does not matter). Regardless, this behavior has no place in the customer eye. Second time was today. They appeared to be having issues with their computer system but had seemed to find a work-around to allow customers to pay with credit cards... UNTIL it was my turn. I'm in the process of checking out and they ask me what's in the box. Personally, it's none of their business what's in the box.. .so long as it's legal and authorized to ship (which it was). I told them personal items.. "that's not good enough". "fine, shoes." All of a sudden they weren't taking credit cards and seemed to have no flexibility about this. I had to return to work and didn't have the time to wait around an indeterminate amount of time as i had already stood in line about 10-15min. Next question is if i'd leave my credit card and pick it up later.UUUMM, I DON'T THINK SO!!!.. not even on a good day. They did make some other suggestions to get the box shipped but they either involved me leaving my CC, CC#, boxed shipment (with a tracking number), or returning at a time which was inconvenient (or impossible). Either way, sorry.. i was willing to pay a premium for convenience, but when you're no longer convenient, i'll just wait and use FedEx. While the professionalism wasn't a particular issue this visit, there was still some concern over the approach to customers from those behind the counter. It wasn't necessarily unprofessional per say.. but they were saying aloud (while standing at the front desk) how " 'someone' needs to quit playing on the computer while they are trying to check out customers". Paying a premium over FedEx requires a highly professional environment coupled with solid service. Convenience or not, they have lost me as a customer indefinitely. read more

This location has very rude employees even the manager. I have been in numerous times since it is the UPS location closest to me. I'm shocked that in the last two years they haven't changed the employees. Why would you keep employees that are rude and inaccurate a lot of times. You either understand customer service or you don't. Instead of being inviting to business it seems they often try to convince you not to use them. I was in yesterday and the first thing the rep said to me is, "This is going to cost you a lot more in here than online". I was shipping a large piece of brand new equipment that didn't have a flat bottom. She insisted that it be put up on her small scale even though the specs for the item were in the packaging paperwork. It took two men to get it up on the scale and it had to be held onto so it wouldn't fall. She stated anything they can't weigh they refuse to ship. After seeing it up on the scale she said she would accept the specs paperwork weight. She made spelling errors and noted it was being shipped to a business even though it was a residential address. The manager stated today that this is their routine procedure to say business even for residential. I went back in the following day because UPS Customer Service stated that my package never left that UPS store. I intended to get a refund and get my item to ship it elsewhere. The manager was rude once again and stated the UPS customer service was wrong. She said I came in the store making them feel nervous the day prior and had the nerve to say she wished I wouldn't return to their store. I was trying to wait for them to package the item the day before because they seemed unsure of how to package it and I didn't want it damaged. After making accusations that the item smelled of chemicals (which you can't ship); she stated that it would be two hours or so before she was done packaging it so no need for me to wait around for them. I will never utilize this store again. My item shipping cost was close to $300.00....wanting to verify that the address is done correctly and that it is properly packaged should be a right....not an inconvenience as it was implied. Whoever owns this location should be sending secret shoppers in so they can see why their sales are low. I have avoided this store for two years and I know I'm not the only one. read more

$0.60 at Fed Ex to print from a thumb drive; $5.60 at this UPS store because their antiquated copiers do not accept thumb drives -- so they charge you an extra $5.00 to insert the thumb drive onto a computer that communicates with their antiquated printers. So choice is $0.60 at Fed Ex or $5.60 at this UPS store -- easy choice. read more

If you can avoid this store do it. I had my package delivered here via UPS. Online it said delivered so I went there and asked for the package. The manager said she did not have it. She wasn't even willing to put the tracking number into her system to look up where it was. When I asked her if she could help look up where it was she told she didn't work for UPS. I guess UPS stores are franchises, but they kind of represent UPS so it would be good if they represented UPS a little better. I feel up to this point I had been pretty cordial and I was starting to get a little angry so my tone became a little defiant. I called UPS and they said it had been delivered to this store and it had been signed by the D*** (who happen to be the manager). I went here last week to ship an item that I sold on Ebay. The lady at the front desk created an account for me using my drivers license info. I told her that I didn't want my phone number to be shown on the shipping label for privacy reasons. She said she would have to check with the manager first. The manager took a look at me and then told her the only option was to black out my number with their permanent marker... After I paid she blacked out my number, but I noticed I could still see my phone number underneath... Worthless. I don't understand why "The UPS Store" cannot simply omit the phone number from the label. I will avoid using their shipping services for this very reason. When I create my own UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS labels I'm not required to print my phone number on the label. read more

The manager, Andrea, was completely unprofessional in the fact that she would not return our phone call, was very disrespectful, and would not honor our claim.
