Paid extra for the fridge to be detailed etc. They left early without having done the fridge, or many other parts of the house. There were so many areas of the house that weren't even touched. They were unprofessional. They agreed on a time over the phone and never confirmed in writing as they agreed to do. When I reached out to inquire about the email they said they got busy and would send it the next day. 2 days went by and no email was sent. When I followed, I was given a different time than what was verbally agreed, then they were no longer available at all for that day. No integrity. If you promise to do something, follow through. You charged me after you didn't respond to the last of my texts. You never responded to my final texts re: the charges until this public forum? Maybe you should have answered my texts. It was a rocky start in 11/22 with quality and reliability issues as you can see from the text exchanges with Naim. Fast forward to 1/2024 when Maids Prime and I tried to give it another chance. He says he couldn't provide me services because of my booking details, but also says he has no record of me. This man has no professionalism. The setup was very easy, I was able to text and confirm an appointment via yelp. The ladies arrived about 20 min late and left about 10 min early even though the flat rate guaranteed three hours. The quality of the work that did was good but I had to remind them to double back on things like spider web dusting. We've had a mixed time having people clean our house since moving to DC and so far Maids Prime is doing the best job since we got here. They show up on time at the scheduled time, bring their own supplies, do a great job cleaning the house and follow instructions well when you ask them to change things. Since both my wife and I work and have two kids, getting help around the house is huge to help our quality of life. Having somebody else clean the bathrooms, mop the floors, vacuum, dust, and the like saves us a huge amount of time and stress. That said, we've had trouble finding somebody who can come at a regular time (so we can plan around it), bring their own supplies, and really get the house clean while being able to follow instructions like not using the broken handle in the shower. So far, Maids Prime has delivered on all of that and been pretty easy (if not the fastest) to interact with over e-mail, which is a huge plus for me. Since we stopped having people during the brunt of the pandemic, we had a chance to try out some alternatives and Maids Prime stood out on Yelp! The good news is that the responded quickly when I reached out on Yelp at first. It then took a while to actually get the details worked out the first time for them to come. Phone seems to be not the right way to talk with them. Yelp messages worked at first, but e-mail seems to be the most reliable. I thought we'd originally agreed to a 9a time, but the time wound up being 8-11a, which turns out to work fine for us. That said, pay attention to to the slot that you get e-mails confirming because that's when people will be there. Also, the seem to work (at least for regular residential cleaning) based on the slot in that they'll plan to be there for that number of hours or less. They plan to have two people take 3 hours to clean our house. The first time (when it had been several months since we had anyone professionally clean our house) it wound up taking them 3.5 hours and they didn't finish with the basement. That's fine, but good to know. Subsequent visits (every two weeks) have taken a bit under 3 hours and they've cleaned the whole house. They do a really good job of cleaning everything. The dust every surface even moving things out of the way and back to do so. They clean all the bathrooms, showers, tubs and toilets really well. We've had to remind them to mop once after they missed some of it one visit, but with a reminder they did it really well. They only downsides are really (a) that they can be a bit slow to respond and coordinate with over e-mail. It took a while to move from the one preliminary visit to having a regular every-two-weeks setup, (b) the maids speak pretty limited English, so my limited Spanish has been really helpful, and (c) it takes a bit more supervision to make sure you get exactly what you want than I'd love. That said, it's all worked out really well with a bit of understanding and they're the best cleaning service we've had in our 6+ years here. read more

We used Maids Prime for the first time recently, just for a one-time post-reunion cleaning in our home. Was able to secure a cleaning reservation online on a Friday afternoon, just 3 days prior to the preferred date (a Monday morning). The price of the cleaning was very reasonable given the number of rooms/bathrooms to be cleaned (and less expensive than several other online estimates from other clearning services). Maids Prime also communicated with me promptly and continuously over the weekend via email, confirming that the maids would arrive on Monday morning. The maids arrived on time, were very professional, and most importantly they did a nice, thorough cleaning job. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and easy - just what we were looking for. Wow! I don't think our house has ever been cleaner. We received 2 house cleaners for 2.5 hours and they did an amazing job. I don't think our house was this clean when we moved in. The cleaners got were early and very nice. It was easy to schedule and reasonably priced. We will definitely be getting this service a few times a year! I did take one star off because they did not wear masks. We are both vaccinated but they did not know that and we have no idea if they were vaccinated. I feel for safety reasons it is probably still safer for everyone to wear masks. We did leave for most of the cleaning to get us and our dog out of their way so our interaction was brief. I have been a Maids Prime customer since 2019 they started off excellent then over time they got progressively worse. Their cleaning was ok could be better mostly appearance cleaning and from time to time I would find items broken and or rendered inoperable. And after a time they increased their prices a still continued to do the same kind of cleaning(almost not worth the money) they charged me $90 dollars for nothing when I tried to schedule another time so at least the ladies could get their full amount for cleaning.
