AVOID MaidPro of Providence! We scheduled them to come two weeks in advance and they DID NOT SHOW UP. We just purchased a new home and were relying on them to clean the kitchen so we could eat in it. We gave them the code and were also in our home within the arrival window, but no one arrived. Since we scheduled a Saturday appointment, no one was available to take our call. We ended up spending $50 on cleaning supplies and doing part of the cleaning ourselves. It was one of the most exhausting Saturdays of my life. I called on Monday, and they were able to send someone over to clean the rest of our house within 20 minutes. I did appreciate the promptness. The individual who cleaned did a reasonable job, but I never really received an explanation as to why no one showed up, and I expected more for $50/hour! The best they were able to do was a $25 refund - I spent $280 and that's all you can do? I cannot believe that I trusted them with my credit card information. The cleaning staff sent by MaidPro was so pleasant but I was overall disappointed by the move-out clean we received. We had hired MaidPro to clean out my boyfriend's studio after he'd moved. First, the consultation to get set up with MaidPro takes FOREVER over the phone. The first time a representative called, they asked if I had 10-15 minutes for them to do an estimate. I mean, I'm glad for the heads up that they expected this to take 10-15 minutes but I didn't expect this to be the kind of thing where I'd have to pull out a date book or actually block off time in my day to talk to MaidPro. I was on my way to work so I said that I didn't have time right then. The estimate is THOROUGH. Every cleaning desire, some which I didn't know I had, was explored in the lengthy estimate. I specified that I wanted a move out deep clean with shower, convection oven and fridge cleaned out. After calling again and getting my 11 minute consultation done, I got two more calls from MaidPro that afternoon. The first is whether I still wanted a cleaning because I said that I couldn't do the life inventory, sorry, estimate asked for the first time I called. I explained that I didn't have time for the estimate the first time and still wanted a cleaning. The third call was a call asking questions asked from the first call. Altogether, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with different representatives from MaidPro. They showed up within their estimated window and even a little early. Both workers were very nice with a great attitude. The apartment was nearly moved out of with all furniture removed. There was one box left, a leftover rug and some scattered household objects. They said it would take no time to clean this place up. They were done within 2 hours but had missed so much. None of the water stains or grease stains on the front of the dishwasher or microwave were wiped off. They did a good job with the fridge itself but didn't touch the freezer shelves at all, which I had to clean. Although there was no furniture and the floors were nearly bare, the corners hadn't been dusted. We still ended up dusting. I had asked about the oven and while they wiped it out on the inside, there were many grease stains and they told me to use a Brillo pad to get it out. They should have specified that they don't actually clean an oven but just do a cursory wipe. I think this should have been specified more clearly, as I thought this was a clean that should have sufficed for my just needing to walk through for an inspection, remove the stuff and hand back the key. I will say that everyone I spoke to was exceedingly pleasant. They bundled up and organized all loose stuff including the rug so that it was easy to sort out for keeping or tossing. The shower was very nicely cleaned. It just wasn't the move out deep cleaning with shower, oven and fridge included that I was promised and paid good money for. They're really nice people but I'd go elsewhere for a move out deep clean. read more

Had my first cleaning today and overall the cleaning service provided was really good. My cleaner showed up at 9am and spent about 2.5 hours cleaning the house. Was quoted for 3.25 hours and was very pleased to it less than the quoted time. Thank you Brian for your patience. read more

I was moving into a new apartment and I wanted the place cleaned because no one had lived there for about two years. I have zero piece of furniture or anything even in the apartment. I wanted at least the floors swept washed, bathrooms and windows. I'm still in the middle of doing a lot of renovations so the day that I have the apartment cleaned I didn't rush over to check it out, as I stated I'm doing renovations and I don't live there yet (or in the area). When I did go to the apartment it smells clean that was absolutely dirty. In the photos you will see a white triangles on the bathroom shower floor that the triangle I cleaned after they left. Also in the photos you will notice that there is dust and rocks and dirt right along the vents/floorboards. I was looking for a deep cleaning of my home I was very clear on needing floors and refrigerator cleaned inside amd out they did not even go into the frig. Brian, I find it concerning that all of your responses to negative reviews of your business take zero ownership for the issues outlined. In fact you seem to blame the customer in most instances. I can only speak to inexperience. You say that you looked at my account and found that i never provided feedback. Simply not true. I called several times about a few concerns. And it happened more than once. The reason I started requesting the same cleaner in the first place was after i had to deal with disorganized and unreliable scheduling in the beginning. We have used MaidPro for more than 5 years now, and I think their service is wonderful. I always loved coming home after the cleaner was there. Yudelka was especially great and went above and beyond. I tend to be a little cluttered, so the cleaners were always smart about stacking things up and not throwing things away so everything looked neat and tidy when I came back. They work efficiently and get everything in ship shape. Their management is easy to contact, and they are very communicative in reminding you of your cleans. How great is it to leave a house that is in need of a good cleaning and come home 2 hours later to find it all clean? Well, let me tell you it's pretty great. This is my first experience with a cleaning service and I was pleasantly surprised. When working to set up an appointment, I was originally told that there were no openings on the day I wanted(the next day - I know I'm a little bit of a last minute girl), but then was called back when there was a cancellation, and we were able to schedule it for exactly when I originally planned. The young lady who arrived at my door was friendly, brought her own cleaning supplies, asked me for a quick tour of the place, if there was anything in particular I wanted cleaned (I said floors), and if there was anything I didn't want cleaned. I told her about my rug that tends to snag in vacuums and she said that she could use a different vacuum for it. She asked where she should start; I had her start in the kitchen and I was off. Now I've never left anyone in my house alone before, but for some reason I felt comfortable right away. I came home to a clean house, with no new snags in the carpet, things in their right places, and a nice fresh scent in the air. It's nice to feel like you can trust someone like that. I was pleasantly surprised to find things like the ceiling fan dusted, bed made (even though I said she didn't need to do that), and the garbage taken out. There were a few things not dusted: the top shelf in my bathroom and the window sills, but the floors look great and overall, I think Maidpro did a really good job. read more

Jenn C. from MaidPro came to clean our apartment in mid-January. She was very professional and did a fantastic job. Everything was spotless and well-organized. She did everything from put my husband's shoes in his closet to taking out the trash. We were very impressed. MaidPro's 49-point checklist is very extensive and covers all the things, and much more, that you'd hope a cleaning service would provide. One drawback is that we did not know in advance that Jenn was coming, so it was a little awkward since I was working from home that particular day. We were asked to fill out a survey and, after saying that I'd appreciate a call the day before, the manager sent me an e-mail less than a half hour later saying that usually they call the day before and apologized for the inconvenience. The staff was very unprofessional and asked my wife to stay outside why she is cleaning because she Does not feel comfortable cleaning if someone is watching over her. She also did not have the right materials for cleaning. The cleaning lady was very slow and she came alone with no help. Overall we are so disappointed, we waited for this service for 20 days. I just bought a home and needed my house cleaned prior to moving in my family and baby girl. My biggest request was to dust the house which wasn't done. The kitchen cabinets, sofa chair cushions, base boards, light fixtures just to list a few were not completed to my surprise. I have pictures. The house didn't have a lot of heavy duty cleaning it was mostly dust issues. The main floor was probably the only thing that was sweeped and moped. Cleaner was prompt and pretty thorough. Even did foyer ,which, I wasn't too concerned with. Just 2 issues, my kitchen floor is coated with a product called StreetShoe and didn't play well with their cleaning product. Floor was clean but a little tacky. No big deal. Damp mopped and they were fine. Second, mahogany stairway had a thin chalky film residue. Again, product incompatibility. I will probably use this service again, but will use my products on those two areas. Big plus, the tub was done really well!! read more

Maid pro has cleaned my house for a few months now. Some of the cleanings were terrific but a few others were not so great. I recently contacted Maid Pro with a complaint and the customer service I received was exactly what I needed to become a loyal customer. I was put in direct contact with the owner and he sent someone to my house to reclean and my house looks perfect. If I were working with a self employed cleaner this situation would never have been resolved in such a professional way. UPDATE: DO NOT HIRE THIS CLEANING SERVICE. I set up monthly service for my sister as I am her power of attorney. I had very specific notes in her account of days that were acceptable to clean so that her aide would be there to help facilitate. They provided no notification of change in date and sent cleaners on a Saturday bc they were overbooked on her usual days. She is not there on wknds & I would never approve that change. They didn't call or notify me; just went ahead and charged her $80.... the price for a full cleaning. When I spoke to the office manager she said that was the "lock out" fee?!?? She then said the next cleaning would be on us?!?! On us.....We already paid?!?? Horrific customer service. They send different cleaners every time & once my sister thought her change on nightstand was stolen. Pathetic. I contacted the owner & NO response. Shady business happening here. I used Maidpro for a one-time cleaning prior to move out to help getting my cleaning deposit back. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job. The business owner Brian was extremely helpful and made communications very easy. I unfortunately had somewhat of a complicated and unsavory move out process and I appreciated Brian's help in navigating the ordeal. Obviously, there's some more juice to my move out drama that I won't share up here, but I commend him and the company for good old-fashioned commitment to getting the job done, and for conducting ethical business. I m very disapointment with the MaidPro service. I moved and I need a deep cleaning. I said in the estimate all the things that I need. Today I had two women for 5 hours in my apt. but I needed to leave the place. They just cleaned with the mop. But the fridge was dirty outside, the dinning table with dust, the windows also with duts, they didn t use the mop in the bathroom. In fact, they just came to my apt. to chill ou a couple of minutes. They didn t call for say that they leave my place. Anything estipulated in they webpage. Ah! the names of the girls are Issa and Maria. How many Issa and Marias have? A lot I know. But the problem isn t the maids. The problem was me for believe in an awful service. I m so angry for waste my money. I clean better my own home and maybe I can offer my obsesive way to clean. After a very stressful weekend my housemate and I knew the house needed a super deep clean and after we started we quickly learned we needed extra help. I have never worked with a cleaning service before so I called Maid Pro because of all their great reviews and that they are local for me, and after talking on the phone I also found out they were very affordable! Maid Pro is awesome! I've used them three times now to clean my apartment. The booking process is super easy and they always are available when I request. The cleaners have always been extremely friendly and they do a great job cleaning! I always feel safe leaving them in my house while I run errands or do what I need to do. When the cleaning is done they leave a checklist of what was completed. After an unpleasant experience with our last house cleaner from another company we were really hesitant to try another service. I did my research on Yelp and found Maidpro. We hired MaidPro to clean a rental property on the East Side. When the tenants moved in, they told me that there were still cobwebs and surfaces that were dirty. MaidPro advertises that they guarantee their work; and will come back and re-clean if the client is not satisfied. We asked for a re-clean. They agreed but then never showed up. I have a toddler who keeps crawling to every possible corner in home and tries to eat whatever non-eatable stuff she finds on floor. Since it was becoming difficult to maintain the cleanliness of the house, I hired maidpro for it. But their didn't clean the house per my expectations. I could find dirt on floor, in bathroom, in kitchen after they left. Wasn't happy at all. Also, their timings are not consistent and punctual, they have the window to 9-3 pm for first shift in which they would usually come at 3 pm (almost whole day gone) which means that i can't leave the baby down for whole day or I should clean myself.
