Despite several complaints to management there was no improvement in service. We had a crew of 2 for a move in cleaning of a row house. The crew arrived before time and got on the job quickly. They cleaned the house well and also cleaned the front porch and the back yard. Frankly, I was skeptical about using a cleaning company, as opposed to hiring an individual, but this company has converted me. We used to do the latter, but were unsatisfied with the quality of the cleaning several times. I waited to review Maid Bright until seeing their work a few times, but I've now used them four times and am very satisfied. In sum, they clean really well, are relatively inexpensive, and importantly, they use non-chemical cleaning products. The latter is key -- their cleaning products don't make your house smell like some weird chemicals, and it's a lot better if you have kids at home like I do. The price is about 30% lower than what we paid before. They're also punctual. We had a misunderstanding one of the times -- they give you a window that they're going to arrive in, not an exact time, so just something to note when you book them. The cleaning itself is high quality, getting to corners, making beds, doing thorough vacuuming, and they've listened to our instructions well. I honestly don't have any complaints yet. read more

Very happy with Maid Bright. It has taken months to find a house cleaner that both does a good job and is *reliable*. Maid Bright is communicative (emails in advance of cleaning dates), arrives on time, finishes on time. The staff are friendly and competent. I'm also glad to support a family owned and operated company that treats its workers well (cleaners are FTEs with health insurance). I would recommend them to anyone. I give 4 stars because I would not say the cleaning is 100% thorough 100% of the time -- more like 90% thorough 100% of the time. Maid Bright has been a great service overall. The cleaners are professional, efficient, and courteous. The customer support staff are also helpful and understanding when you need to reschedule. There are two types of cleaning: deep cleaning and regular cleaning. The deep cleaning is well worth the price! The regular cleanings will result in cleaner surfaces, but I do not find as much value in this service as the deep cleaning. This is the sole reason I have reduced my rating from five to four stars. I hired Maid Bright for a one-time deep cleaning in preparation for some house guests. In my humble opinion, it's an easy job because I have a small townhouse and keep it clean and clutter free! That said, I appreciate the level of detail in a deep clean that I just don't have the energy for on a weekly basis (i.e. scrubbing the showers and tub, cleaning the baseboards, vacuuming furniture). I give them 4 instead of 5 because I found several places where the baseboards weren't cleaned or dusted. As with most people, I'm going to be pretty particular if I'm paying for something! I've long thought about having someone come in to clean my house but for various reasons things just didn't work out or it moved down in priorities. However, in order to preserve harmony in my household my husband finally agreed. I got a price quote about two months ago and then got sidetracked yet again. The ladies came yesterday to do an initial clean, and wow!! They were super thorough, although my husband and I keep things generally tidy, they ladies cleaned top to bottom, including getting the dust/hair bunnies from the dog behind our bed, and cleaning the ceiling fan blades. Heck they even vacuumed the back of the sofa, made the bed, I mean they really went above and beyond. They were timely in their arrive and alerted the office who in turn alerted me they needed more time. They also didn't mind my friendly doggo although the dog and I hung out in the basement while they were cleaning just so they could work in peace. My husband who came home later was equally impressed as well and sometimes he can be a bit more particular than me so that says a lot. All of the staff I've dealt with have been courteous and friendly as well. So based on my first cleaning they totally earned the 5 stars. I'd never used a house cleaning service before, so I get a little bit Like I was being bougie. But my husband and I work full-time and we have two small children, one of which is a baby, and so is important to us to spend our time in other ways. The consultation was great everything was explained to me very clearly. The cleaning took a little bit to get scheduled after I emailed and said that we wanted to move forward after the consultation, but after that, everything with very quickly. Two ladies showed up right at noon, thoI was given a noon to 2 PM window. They took about three hours for our three level three bedroom townhome. I'm very picky about how things are done, but they did a fantastic job. Our bathrooms have never looked cleaner.
