The only spot for improvement related to communicating with the two men who did most of the actual painting, who didn't speak much English. Alex, who seemed to head the project and spoke fluent English, was awesome and around alot. However, when he was not around (he likely has other projects to check up on), and the project was getting closer to being done, there were several small/tiny touch ups to do and things to fix back up (reconnecting down spouts before the rain). I was able to best communicate the things to be done at the end, but it wasn't too easy without Alex around. All that being said, everything turned out okay and the house looks great!

There were some hiccups with scheduling and confusion over our gutter guards but in the end, they completed the job in one day and the roof looks terrific! They even repaired and painted the damage caused by the water leak. I'm incredibly grateful for their help.

Colonial Contracting represented their and our customers to determine such damages. To request roof and siding replacement due to covered damages! Not all damages to a roof or siding is actually wind or hail damages. Wear & tear is excluded by most insurance policies. However, Colonial Contracting had the ability to show these damages and to justify replacement! They would get on the roof and help to find the damages! They would do so in a diplomatic way! I found them to be easy to work with and fair. This is a real compliment to them as all contractors are NOT created equal! They were phenomenal! After I retired, My home is one of three attached homes. I called Colonial Contracting to replace my and my two Of my neighbors roofs. I did not call any other contractors for an estimate because they work with the insurance companies to confirm damages and will work with the insurance companies pricing. Other companies wanted to send a crew out to just "repair" the cheap aluminum ridge vents that the builder installed, but Esteban recommended a longer lasting solution. He went on the roof, took pictures and showed me the condition of all the vents. He then recommended replacing just the ridge vents with a better quality vent that would last longer and not be susceptible to wind and other damage. When he gave me the estimate, I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was very reasonable. Esteban and his crew came out 2 days later and completed the job it one afternoon. They exactly matched the roofing material we already had, and when they were done the roof looked like new. Not only did they fix the vents, they went around and re-sealed any exposed nails in other parts of the roof AND cleaned out my rain gutters (all just because they were already on the roof). I highly recommend Esteban and Loudoun Roofing & Home Improvement! They were quick, professional and did the work for a fair price.

I live in a 3 story townhouse and had a water leak in a bedroom on the top floor. The house was built in 2014 so I was pretty surprised that I was having an issue. The first "roof specialist" that came over spent 5 min in the attic and then 10 on the roof and told me he couldn't find any sign of the leak or its cause. Just in case, he said he had caulked where he pulled up an exposed nail and that I shouldn't have any more problems. Well, it rained the next day and the ceiling leak got worse. Luckily, I called Loudoun Roofing next and Esteban came out and wouldn't leave until he found the leak. He spent over 20min in the attic (which was like 100+ degrees) and another 30 minutes on the roof. He was VERY thorough and not only found the source of the leak, but also many other issues with drainage and some construction issues. Documenting with pics and descriptions of the work that needed to be done. Long story short, Esteban came out the next week, completed the work and the cost was very competitive with the other roofer that could not find the issue and wanted to do "exploratory surgery". I trust Esteban and Keylah and the work that they do and would 100% recommend to family and friends. Please contact me if you have any questions. I feel like its tough to vet repair companies nowadays, but I will definitely call them for future issues or when I eventually have to replace my roof. The reason I would not recommend this company is NOT because of the work that they do. They…read moreactually seem to do nice work. I would not recommend this company because they were hired to install a privacy fence and deck for my neighbor and started a huge property dispute that cost my family(& possibly the neighbors family) thousands of dollars by telling our neighbors our barn, trees, bushes and playset were on their property and they had more property than what they thought. They even stated to us that the auditors map of property lines were the "law" and correct, in which fact that is not true, as only a survey shows what is 100% accurate. There was no need for this company to start a property dispute when these items had been on the property since 1971 unless the homeowner asked this of them in which the homeowner said they never did. I am writing this review for people to be wary of what could happen to you if this company does their business at your home or your neighbors home that could possibly start a huge property dispute costing you and your family 10's of thousands of dollars in the hope that they don't cost more people thousands of dollars. If nothing was ever said(which I have no idea why they would have a need to bring this up to the neighbor/homeowner) than this terrible situation would of never happened and we all could of been going about our lives like we had been since 1971 & maybe still be friends. Again, I would not recommend this company.
