I brought a dress in to be shortened 15 days before I needed it. When I went to pick it up on the agreed upon date, the dress was no where to be found. It was even implied that somehow I took it to a different place and made a mistake. (Save your receipt!) After several attempts to locate it, I took it upon myself to look through the racks. Lo and behold, I found the dress. However, the tag on it had someone else's name. And, the alteration had not even been started. I demanded (and got) my money back. Luckily, I found someone else to do the job at a much lower price. I will NEVER use the services of Mai Tailor again. Save yourself time and money and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I brought a suit jacket and shirt here to be dry cleaned. It took about a week to get my items back but I think your wait depends on which day you drop it off. I was very pleased with the quality of the cleanliness of the items and the service and responsiveness I received. I will definitely be back for dry cleaning. read more

I dropped a brand new dress off I was going to wear to a wedding - I bought it for the occasion. She said I could pick it up a few days before I have to leave town. Then she called and said she had forgotten she would be on vacation (seems to be a theme, looking at another review and based on a friend's experience also). Said I'd have to pick it up today, the day before I leave for the wedding. I picked it up and there is a big stain on it. Like someone spilled wine on it or it was up against something and got wet and color transferred onto it. It's a large stain and noticeable. I called it to her attention and she said, "oh, no, it couldn't have happened here." And that was that. I'd already paid when I dropped it off, unfortunately. So here I am, with a dress I bought for a wedding and paid $140 to have altered and it is stained - and my flight leaves in the morning. She suggested I take it to a dry cleaner when I get to the out of town wedding destination. Ridiculous. I will not ever go here again and would not recommend anyone else use their services either. read more

She said she gave It to some guy who came in, saw it sitting on a chair and claimed it was his. She said she didn't check the claim ticket. I've brought a few items to Mai Tailor in Rosemount to have altered. Twee (Pronounced like Tweety Bird but I'm for sure butchering the spelling of her name) was the nicest and took her time with me, even though she was swamped. Everything turned out great! Super speedy turn around and the total price was reasonable for the 4 items...a coat to take up the sleeves and alter to my body, a pair of way too long silk slacks that needed hemming and 2 pairs (Culottes and lounge cashmere pants) that needed to be taken in SUBSTANTIALLY. I couldn't pass us a great Labor Day sale (hello Celine culottes) but both ended up being sizes L-XL. When I tried them on for Twee, she muffled a laugh cause I came out of the dressing to swimming in them. It was pretty comical and I thought she'd say they were a lost cause. I was wrong and everything turned out perfectly tailored to my 5' shrimp pint size frame. They also have dry cleaning available...a win win. And they are located right in my hood, corner of Pilot Knob and 140th in Rosemount, in a strip shopping center next to the Kwik Trip and across from Walgreens. read more

Person that took measurements wanted to know everything about when I was leaving town but failed to tell me she was going on vacation & that the store would not be open to pick up my items. Needless to say, I was not able to pick up when wanted and barely got items prior to leaving town. I would never return here or recommend and I also posted to all followers on facebook. My 18 year old daughter and I went here on 4/27/18 to get her Senior Prom dress altered. The dress was pinned for length, taken in around the back and to add small darts. I paid in full $77.13 on 4/27/18 and pick up was to be 5/18/18. This made us nervous because Prom was on 5/19/18. We called on Monday 5/14/18 to see if we could pick up early. They said "No" and do not worry it will be perfect. YEAH RIGHT???? Picked it up and they decided the darts would not look correct so they supposedly did something else. They did not call us and ask us or ask us her to come in to get retailored with their new idea. Needless to say the dress did not fit and very distraught daughter. Senior prom and her dress does not fit and was not tailored as was promised. I stated I wanted my money back and hung up on but then agreed to give money back when I called back. I entered at 10:30 am on 5/19/18 to get refund and she changed her mind and said I had no proof. Are you kidding me????? I told her I had proof and will take it further. It was not until another customer walked in and was listening that she agreed to refund and she had the nerve to tell me she was being generous and no one else would have ever refunded. Generous right???? She also said in 10 years not one problem until us, I doubt it. read more
