I'm baffled by some of these comments and honestly I'm wondering if they actually went to a different location, because she is solid. She repaired large off-seam rips in expensive yoga pants and they look fantastic - $17 for the repair vs $120 for a new pair of pants. At times she has told me - "I'm not set up to do this job, but you can take it to XYZ shop and they can help,", which I appreciate. She is professional and I think she does pretty much everything on her own, so if you feel like she isn't being nice enough, maybe she is just in a hurry to get back to work (to be clear, that's *not* my experience at all). I have a ton of respect for this business and she's watching her grandkids at times to boot to help family.

The staff onsite (maybe the couple that owns it?) were a great help with getting me a SideWinder for spooling since mine wasn't working. It was a cheaper option than fixing or replacing my machine. They were very honest and I appreciated them not trying to upsell me. It was great to chat with the male - either maintenance or owner - about his expertise in sewing machines and hear his insight. They offer tons of sewing related products instore and you can tell they've been a staple in community for a while. I highly recommend them for your sewing needs!

But be warned: if you have fine, expensive garments and Mulberry's ruins them, they WILL NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY OR STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK PRODUCT. Long story short: I dropped off a Summer 2025 men's rayon shirt back in August that I bought at Nordstrom in late spring for $219.00. I have worn the shirt exactly two times, to two dinner events, for a total wear time of probably 6 hours. Both times, as I always do, I requested when I dropped off my cleaning that my rayon shirts be dry cleaned, not laundered, because laundering can abrade the yarn texture of rayon. The first time, I dropped it off at Mulberry's and everything was perfect. The second time, however, the shirt came back badly mangled. There were discolorations and abrasions across the front and back of the shirt; it had been badly pressed and the collar was misshapen; and the colors had transferred badly, so that what used to be white had turned a dirty, ugly grey. When I brought this up to the manager, I was given a weeks-long run-around of avoided calls and long delays that finally terminated, in November, with a long winded report claiming that the manufacturer of the garment, not Mulberry's, is responsible for damaging the garment because their care label was incorrect! I worked in the garment industry in NY and LA for more than a decade, at Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and several other well known brands, and I know what I am taking about when I am evaluating a garment: This shirt was badly mangled by a garment care team that not only does not understand fine textiles, but that also DOES NOT LISTEN to customers' own directions and preferences about their garments. Then, to make matters worse, Mulberry's obfuscates their accountability with a long-winded technical report that has obviously been engineered to manipulate me into believing that a leading menswear designer is responsible for Mulberry's incompetence. The Edina store manager offered to let me come by and pick my shirt up, but it's completely unwearable, I therefore have no need for it, and I will never enter another Mulberry's facility again. If you don't want to find yourselves in a similar situation, I recommend that you take your garments elsewhere.

When I had a ballroom dance costume I needed altered, I decided to try Vic's. The staff were helpful. They told me to purchase the fabric I wanted to use for the insert in my dress to give myself a little more coverage. They gave me a quote on the price of the work beforehand. I came back a few days later with my fabric, dress, and a pair of pants I wanted to get hemmed. I was quoted $18 for the basic hem and $45 for the insert because a lot of it had to be hand-sewn due to the many rhinestones on it. They asked when I needed my garments by. I said no rush - I needed the dress in a few months. They told me I could pick up in a week and had me pay for the whole thing up front. I picked up a week later and everything was done very well and met my expectations. I was especially happy that my ballroom dance costume turned out well. I'm sure I will be back for additional alterations.
