Love the lighting
Nisha R.

Food was average, but I will go back and try more than appetizers to make a final decision. Hot and Sour Soup was good. It was very vinegar based in my opinion. Not a bad thing as I liked the flavor. I wish it would have had a little spice to it. I could eat it again, but I have definitely had better. 3.5 STARS Crab Rangoon was a little over fried for me. It was just a bit too crunchy for my liking. The center was soft and cheesy which helped it. I would not order these again. 3 STARS Service was good and the staff were pleasant. Ambiance it's a cute and simple restaurant. I love the art and lighting fixtures. It felt cozy and comfortable. Overall it was a good visit. I want to explore the entree's so I will go back to see if I can give them a better rating.

Dumplings

The disappointment started when the guy brought the lunch portion Hot & Sour Soup. The soup didn't even fill half the very small ramekin. And the wood ear mushroom wasn't properly trimmed, and as a result I bit into a hard woody stem that splintered in my mouth. Next came their "famous" Szechuan chicken dumplings which I guarantee were frozen dumplings that had zero crisp. Likely boiled. They had some kind of stir fry sauce on them. Awful. The fried wonton chips didn't come with hot mustard or duck sauce but the table next to us were brought the mustard. The mains were adequate but nothing special. The fried spring roll was filled with an oily vegetal mush. Also frozen, not made in house. I wouldn't go here again if the next meal was free.

Kind of a fancy place. People were getting nervous. Don't close your menu unless you are ready to order. Do have reservations. Had fun. We got Shu Mai dumplings LikeABo$$.

Had lunch there today after a doctor appointment and had a nice lunch. Very soothing ambiance with soft music that facilitates conversation. Service was fast and efficient. I had sweet and sour soup and my wife had egg drop soup. My wife enjoyed her sesame chicken and I mostly liked my Kung Pao beef but there was an occasional floral taste that didn't work for me. Spring rolls were good but nothing outstanding. Overall gotta give them five stars for service and ambience and three and a half for food. Would definitely return and try something different.

I got Singapore fried noodle and it was really good. I tried hong Kong crispy noodles and that was good too. Szechuan beef was good. Their beef is very tender. Scallion pancakes were a little bland.

Pork fried rice with onions and sprouts.

Ordered BBQ Pork fried rice for pick up. Added extra pork, sprouts and onion. The fried rice and pork are delicious. Generous amounts of pork, sprouts and onions. Was lacking the snow peas as there were hardly any in the dish. Very good fried rice and will order again I ordered take out and it was ready in 10 minutes. The lady at the counter was very friendly and had the order ready on the counter when I walked in.

The wrapper is handcrafted, thin, stretchy, and strong. Very rarely seen even in the entire US. They even give you a dish of sugar to dip the crispy duck skin with, which shows how much they care about passing down the tradition. Make sure to request shredded green onions which is a must for the duck. Each duck costs 68 dollars as of oct 2026, plus 10 dollars for the bone soup (very delicious). It sounds expensive but it's worth every penny. You can easily get scammed to pay over 100 dollars for roast duck in other restaurants, so this price is fair and honest. The order comes with 18 wrappers which is enough to serve three adults.

My friend and I were craving Peking duck, so we decided to try it out. The reviews were promising,…read moreand I had heard that they carve the duck tableside. We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.

This is close enough, that I'm considering it Dallas. I liked everything we've chose. Soup dumplings- Xio lao bao and the pan fried dumpling were both delicious and surprisingly something that my children actually wanted to eat. This is more of an authentic restaurant, and so they don't even offer a french fries (childrens go-to food). So I was pleasantly surprised that they liked the dumblings enough to eat them all. The crab cheese puff was good, but the beef burrito was absolutely delicious. If choosing between those two- I would go for the burrito. The three pepper spicy chicken was also very good, and we especially liked the bang bang noodles with beef. It was a fun twist to have scissors and I love a location that makes their own noodles so that was fantastic. It would be great if we had them down in Houston. The only thing that I didn't love was the customer service. They we're not attentive, and I had to keep asking for things like straws for the cups, napkins and other basic things that you think they would bring out on their own. Overall, I'm not docking off any more stars because we were just grateful to have halal chinese options.

It's so much better than chicken soup with the tenderness and flavor. They give you plenty of the pancakes and veggies. David is the absolute best everrr! He always takes care of us and knows just what to recommend. Pretty sure he sees us and just puts in the duck order at this point. Anyways, the pea shoots are basically one of the only vegetables I love to eat and I'm always so happy to see it on the menu here. All of the dishes are great and you really can't go wrong. But regardless, we didn't have enough skin so asked if we can get 2 more skins, even if we had to pay for them. The waitress barked at us that it comes in 10-pks and that she can't get us just 2 pieces. Fine, but there's no need to be annoyed and roll your eyes at us. The service was much to be desired. We ordered the A-Choy vegetable and it was awful, old and yellow and not cooked well. It's like they didn't sauté it in a hot enough wok so it wasn't crispy. So disappointing this time. Don't get me wrong, the Peking Duck and the soup that comes with it were still pretty good. Thus the second star.

We ordered the red chili oil pig ears, pork XLB, non-spicy beef noodle soup, volcano hand-pulled noodles, dan dan noodles, and the sweet and sour fried fish. A huge plus here is being able to customize both the noodle type and thickness, so you can choose you preference. The food came out quickly, which was a lifesaver with two hungry kids in tow. My kids devoured the beef noodle soup, and I appreciated that the beef was thinly sliced, making it super easy for them to eat, and the broth was deeply flavorful and hearty. They also really enjoyed the XLB, which were solid and tasty, even though it wasn't out of this world. As for the rest of the meal, the pig ears had great flavor, though I would have preferred a few more crunchy cartilage pieces rather than just thin slices. The volcano hand-pulled wide noodles were easily a standout dish for me! The spicy oil was different from standard chili oil and gave every bite incredible flavor. The dan dan noodles were also fantastic, which included savory minced pork for anyone looking for a meatier noodle option. Lastly, the sweet and sour fish gave generous, meaty portions, and the batter was light and crispy. Overall, this is a solid, well-priced spot for authentic noodles and dumplings. We'll definitely be back!
