Very clean and very inviting. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly. This is our First time eating there and it was a great experience. Staff there were super helpful and answered my questions about what they offered and what was included on pizzas. Food was amazing and although it is a little expensive, money well spent. We were excited to try the new Magoo's on the southside and finally found the chance to visit there. We were in search of an Indian flavored pizza and we found it. We tried the Chicken Tikka with white sauce. It was very tasty. We also had mozzarella cheese sticks. They were good also. We had some yummy chocolate chip cookies for dessert. They also serve regular fare pizzas, fried chicken and sandwiches. We dined in but it appears there is a large portion of carry out. There were 5 nice sized booths for dine it. We live close by and figured we'd give the new pizza place a shot. Super glad we did because this place is legit. We had the cheesy bread, jalapeño cheesy bread, and an XL pizza. Pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, and we learned that the dough is made fresh every morning. All 6 of us loved it. The seating is very comfortable, decor is spot on for an upper scale pizza place. The service was great with actual helpful staff. If I have any criticism at all, I'd say that the menu could be a bit more clear. But that's it. We've been hoping for a place like this in the neighborhood. It's not just great for the neighborhood, it's great for Indy. This could be top 10 in Indy. read more

We got the vegetarian pizza loaded with onions and peppers. Everything was diced up pretty small. The crust was crispy. The flavor of the pizza was very mild. We got our pizza to go, but they had to booths and some tables. Nice and clean inside. I just really didn't care for the pizza so much. It's not bad pizza But it's not how I like my pizza. I hadn't been to Magoo's in over 10 years, and walking in again was such a nostalgic experience--it felt like reconnecting with an old friend. The place has had a lovely refresh; the inside is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, and everyone there is genuinely kind and welcoming. The menu? Way more extensive than I remembered. From pizzas to burgers and everything in between, it's hard to choose! We ended up getting the cheeseburger and the chicken combo pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor and made us glad we came hungry. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, they surprised us with two free cookies--fresh, warm, and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The service and hospitality were amazing. Haram Magoos . Beware Muslims this place is NOT the same as Magoos California Pizza which they only have 2 locations (Avon & W 38th St) . I called this location based on the Yelp reviews , I saw the menu and it is virtually the same pizzas I get from the Halal locations I always order Chicken Tikka & Meat Supreme with white sauce. I called this location over the phone and a gentleman picked up , I asked if this was a 3rd Magoos location which he confirmed multiple times it was. I asked him how long have they been open he said 8 months. I continuously expressed to him how surprised I was at a 3rd location because I exclusively only go to the Avon location since they are the absolute best! I asked him how much for the Large Chicken Tikka and Large Meat Supreme with all meats , he gave me a ballpark of $40 and even stated he'd give me a $2 discount based on some promotional offer they had. I was like okay no problem how long will it take to make I will be on the way. He said 15-20 minutes. When I arrived the logo did look a little different so I asked him more questions about the location and asked where they sourced their halal meats. Thats when he revealed only the chicken was halal. this surprised me because the other meat is supposed to be halal too. Thats when he visibly got upset and said "Why didnt you tell me you were muslim over the phone? i have separate halal meat for my muslim customers" i was like "you told me this was a 3rd location insinuating this is the same magoos halal pizza not indicating it was a different establishment " He then proceeded to insult me stating that I was not muslim (because I wasnt covered) gas lit me , told me that this happens ALL the time which is why he has separate meats for muslims, that he is fighting the Halal Magoos for their name since they stole from him, stated that he knows the owners son & daughter and they work at the other locations & that HE taught them how to make their signature white sauce. Which doesnt make any sense because the other locations have been open for nearly 20 years and his location only open 8 months... so how could you teach them anything? then he said he wasnt comfortable serving me any of the pizzas . i said well you might as well just sell me the chicken tikka since thats the only one we can eat. He said no you wasted my time and my food, & I said well you wasted my gas & time so you might as well just sell me what I can eat & I will leave. He plays on the register for nearly 10 minutes tweaking the prices and charges me $27.50 for 1 pizza mind you the menu is right above his head and the large pizza was $17.50 .... i asked him why & he said since I paid on card there are extra fees. What BS ... then he asked to compare pizzas and write a review about which was better .... sir your pizza is TRASH. you had ginger on this pizza & so many other toppings that dont belong on this pizza, it was dry - no white sauce & we had to throw it away. I honestly wanted to dispute this charge for waste of time ... I cant imagine how many muslims come here thinking it's halal because of the way he presented the location. really horrible ! if you are muslim stay away from this place , im convinced he does NOT have halal meat on the side for you. read more

I wanted to try a different pizza place because the one we used to like has gone way down in quality and service, and Magoos popped up when I searched pizza delivery near me and I'm so glad I did. I'm a pretty good home cook, and I make my pizzas from scratch, so I must confess that I can be hard to please, but I was more than pleased. We had the bread pakora, that is a traditional Indian snack. It's bread slices stuffed with a spicy potato mixture dipped in besan batter and deep fried and it was glorious. It was crunchy on the outside and a little spicy and creamy on the inside and highly addictive. The mozzarella cheese sticks were on point with a crunchy breading and a good cheese pull, and they were still hot. The marinara was solid not overly seasoned and delicious. One of the best I've eaten anywhere. The pizza had lots of toppings and a good amount of fresh mozzarella. The sauce did its job without overpowering everything else, and the crust was perfect, not too thin or too thick, it was just right. Easily the best delivery pizza we've had in a long, long time. If there's a better pizza on the Southside, of any side of Indy, I've never had it. read more

Be careful about the branding this is not Magoo's California pizza like on 38th St. and in Avon. They stole the name and took out the word California. This place is ran by Indians, not by Muslim Pakistanis that's first thing and secondly the pizza is absolutely horrible. I'm not sure what type of spices they put on the pizza but it doesn't even taste like pizza at all. It was an absolute embarrassment. And the soda was flat.
