We came across The Breakfast Boys and decided to give them a try. When we arrived, there was a line out the door, which immediately told me this place must be doing something right. We decided to wait, and I'm glad we did. I didn't get the name of the host, but she was amazing--professional, organized, and did an excellent job getting everyone seated. Even with the crowd, our wait wasn't long. Once inside, I was surprised to see there was an additional dining room downstairs. We were greeted by our server, Nita, who was outstanding. She knew the menu and was able to explain everything in detail without hesitation. Her timing and service were on point. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, we really didn't have to ask for anything. As a chef, I naturally pay attention to how a restaurant operates, and what really stood out to me was the teamwork. The entire staff was working like a well-oiled machine. The food came out hot, the service was excellent, and everyone in my party was happy with their meal and experience. Before leaving for the airport, I stopped by the restroom. It was fresh, clean, and well maintained. As I walked out, I also looked toward the kitchen and once again noticed the teamwork among the kitchen staff. Before leaving, I made sure to tell the staff how much we enjoyed everything. The Breakfast Boys--you have something great here. Anywhere else I would expect to pay $8-10 for that roll, and even given the inflated airport prices I thought $18 for one roll was a little steep. The service was fantastic. My server while seated at the bar, Phil, was engaging, prompt, polite, funny, gave recommendations, etc. The atmosphere is modern, dark, clean. The warm incandescent light, marble tabletops, and wood-look flooring is a nice contrast to the flourescent lit concourse right outside. It's in a shopping center area, so it's free parking when you go, and there's a number of other things there. I'm looking around, though, and I noticed that the food looks amazing. It made me feel bad for not eating, LOL. Everybody says that it is good, but I just can't speak on it.
