Had breakfast here during a long layover after the redeye in from Las Vegas. I had the world's most standard order of two eggs your way with breakfast meat, potatoes, and toast. The eggs could have used a little more seasoning, but on the plus sign I asked for them scrambled hard and they listened. There aren't a lot of toast options but the sausage had a nice snap and was a consistent temperature all the way through. Staff were a little slow to bring the check at the end, but otherwise took the order quickly and the food came out shortly after. There's not much in the way of decor, but almost everything else nearby is a chain you'd see in a mall food court, so this at least has the distinction of being a little different. read more

We got seated and it took quite a while to get our drink order. We just sat there and waited quietly until somebody finally came by. The restaurant was not at capacity and there were plenty of waitstaff around. Once we were finally able to order, our waiter disappeared, and we never saw him again. Apparently he went on his break. When we ask for ketchup that didn't come in a timely manner either. So we finished most of the meal before we could get the condiments. Food here was good and service was fast, but I couldn't help notice the waitstaff were really quite rude. We sat at the bar and overheard the bar staff talking sh*t about two separate customers during our 30 minutes there. It's really not a great look when all the staff is doing is moping around and using explicit language talking about their customers. I also think one of the girls in the bar was trashing one of her coworkers, but I couldn't tell for sure. It just seemed like a hostile environment. I get everyone has bad days and things happen, but certain things you just don't say out loud in a workplace. It's unprofessional and makes other people uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. If you are coming from the food court area make a left and the restaurant is located on the right hand side. I sat at the bar. There were several people dining in as well as dinning at the bar area. You can also dine directly in front of the open kitchen. I appreciate this, particularly for an airport restaurant. There was only one bartender. She was ok. I would not brag about the service provided, however, I also don't have any complaint's. I opted for the egg white scramble meal. I needed some fiber , and it included a few veggies. You also get a choice of meat, and white or wheat bread. The food came out quickly. The eggs appear to be made to order. I really enjoyed the chicken sausage and felt as though the entire meal was a solid option. It cost about $15 after taxes. I honestly feel like it's a decent value ! I will be back! I walked in hungry and left feeling like time itself had slowed to a crawl. There were 16 tables in the room. Six sat empty. Most of the rest were occupied by people waiting. Waiting for menus, for drinks, for food, for someone to acknowledge they existed. Meanwhile several employees gathered around the grill carrying on long conversations as if service were a background activity instead of the job. One moment summed it up. A gentleman finished his meal and then had to stand up and track someone down just to pay his bill. No one noticed. No one seemed concerned. It felt less like a rush and more like a culture where urgency simply doesn't exist. If you're in a hurry, don't come here. If you're hungry, think twice. Orders take a long time to be taken, drinks arrive slowly if they arrive at all, and food comes out on its own mysterious timeline. The room was only half full, yet the experience felt like a restaurant overwhelmed by a packed house. This isn't about one bad server. It felt systemic. Slow, untrained service and a general sense that the staff had nowhere else to be and no reason to move with purpose. Customers shouldn't have to compete with staff conversations for attention. I really wanted to like this place. But good intentions don't fill an empty glass or speed up a meal that never seems to arrive. Whoever manages this place needs a better manager themselves. An airport is a busy place with many busy travelers, many of whom are going to be running for flights. Had a 3 hour layover. Never been so I thought I would treat myself. Staff was friendly but not team players. My server was nowhere in site so I asked the other server for a spoon and never got it. My girl showed up so I asked her and immediately got one. The place looked clean. Ordered the French toast (warm bananas, pecans) which was good but I have had better. Don't even remember tasting the bananas and after looking at my picture there are no bananas. SAD. It also came with bacon but it is not noted on the menu. I asked for it to be crispy, really crispy but it was slightly crispy. But the price of $14 and that is good for airport food! Order the Mionetto prosecco punch and was disappointed. Looking forward to the sweet & sour cherry juice because I had some in Greece and it was so good, but there was no flavor or it in this drink. Not worth $20. A cup of coffee is $6. I got a side salad alongside it. The only fries are sweet potato fries oddly which I wasn't in the mood for. The side salad was fine although the dressing was weirdly sweet? I did like that it had hard boiled eggs on it for some additional protein. The burger was fantastic. What I did not appreciate was the wait staff at the bar. I asked one waitress to correct my toast, which was not toasted at all and asked her to have them put it on the grill. Lots to unpack here. First, someone left a bag and they just let it sit here for my whole visit. It was very uncomfortable for me and the others around me. From what I can tell, zero attempts to do anything about it were made. Second, I was told that they stopped serving breakfast. I was okay with that. Got my spot and handed a menu. The menu has ONE thing on it that's not breakfast. (Technically a cup of soup makes two). The menu said "breakfast served until 10:30." Look at my watch. 10:24. I contemplate adding both bacon and eggs to my burger order and then hold the beef and can you serve it on toast instead. I order a Diet Coke. She says, "Diet Pepsi, got it" *sigh* No, mam, I'll just have a cup of coffee. Ten minutes pass. A lukewarm cup of brewed coffee arrives. "Cream and sugar?" Yes please. "The sugar is on the table" she said dismissively. Why ask me, then? She leaves. I add a couple of sugars. I had no spoon to stir with. Five minutes pass. She arrives with cream, sugar and a spoon. The coffee is... fine. I abandon the idea of ordering any food and receiving it in time to make my connecting flight.i ask for the check. We had 5 in our group, traveling for business and had the pleasure of being served by Selam who was so skilled, kind, and knowledgeable. I typically avoid eating at airports, but during my recent trip, I decided to give Cat Cora's Kitchen a try since it was conveniently located across from my gate. I ordered the egg white scramble, paired with a refreshing blood orange mimosa, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! The scramble was made with spinach, tomato, and I believe feta cheese, all cooked perfectly. I also had some turkey bacon on the side, which made for a healthy and satisfying meal. The highlight of my experience was the service. Richard, the gentleman who attended to me, was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The food at Cat Cora's in the ATL airport was genuinely phenomenal. Unfortunately, the experience at the bar was completely overshadowed by the bartender's behavior and attitude. I was on the phone handling something quickly while waiting to order in an extremely fast-paced airport environment. When the bartender finally acknowledged me, I quickly ordered my drink. Instead of simply doing his job professionally, he loudly and sarcastically shouted, "HI, HOW ARE YOU? I'M WELL, THANK YOU," clearly attempting to embarrass me in front of the entire bar. There is a difference between professionalism and ego. Airports are hectic by nature, and customers are often rushed, distracted, traveling, or dealing with logistics. If someone cannot handle that environment without publicly mocking guests, they should not be working in airport hospitality. Excellent food cannot fully compensate for staff who create an openly hostile and humiliating atmosphere for customers. read more

Disappointing! This is the second time I have eaten here. The first time was several years ago, when I had breakfast, and had an abysmal bloody mary. It was disgustingly bad and not consumable. This time, I ordered the crab macaroni and cheese. It came with red pepper flakes in it, despite their being no mention of that in the menu description. It was so spicy, I couldn't eat it. It was remade for me, without the red pepper flakes, which are apparently pre-mixed into the breadcrumbs. When the second dish came, it was so incredibly salty, I could actually taste the salt. It was like Mornay sauce made with salt water. I was so hungry, I ate it, and needed several glasses of water afterward. Looking back, I should have told the bartender that it was inedible and sent it back. I am so salt-saturated right now, it's disgusting. I didn't want to be "that guy." I made a mistake. Cat Cora should be ashamed of her recipe, if it is actually being followed. If not, she needs to do a check-in with her kitchen staff. I may consider giving this place a third try, to see if it's the charm, or three strikes, and you're out. It will be a while, though. For now, run the other way. Go to P.F. Chang's. read more

Inside the Atlanta airport, near gate A25 is this gem of a restaurant. From the moment I approached the host stand I was greeted with a big smile by a friendly server who seated me on the spot. I ordered coffee, a fruit bowl and the egg white omelet and everything was extremely tasty. I especially loved that the fruit was fresh and delicious, which seems rare at most restaurants. My server Malcolm was so attentive which was impressive given the large number of tables he had. He was quick to refill my coffee which was greatly needed given my travel day began at 3:45 am.
