Egg whites with spinach tomatoes and feta
Nicole R.

Perfectly located right across from my gate, A26 The hostess asked if I wanted to sit up at the bar, I said no but she guided me to the same style of seating and I had to ask for an actual table. She accommodated me. I loved that they had a healthy plate option. Egg whites with spinach tomatoes and feta. Served with your choice of bread, potatoes and turkey bacon. Bacon could have used maybe 20 more seconds on the grill but all in all I was very pleased with my meal and service (Selena L) was my waitress and was very pleasant.

This morning we were greeted warmly by Selena, our server. The 3 of us had 5 bags, a stroller, and a car seat. Selena practically moved heaven and earth (or it's restaurant equivalent to fit us in. We ate 2 Delicious 2 egg breakfasts and ordered a fruit plate minus anything that wasn't a berry for our picky 4 year old. Selena told us there would be a $1 fee. We said "Sold!" The service was warm and hospitable. There were Power outlets for charging devices. This establishment is an excellent place to sit and chat through multiple flight delays.

Food here was good and service was fast, but I couldn't help notice the waitstaff were really quite rude. We sat at the bar and overheard the bar staff talking sh*t about two separate customers during our 30 minutes there. It's really not a great look when all the staff is doing is moping around and using explicit language talking about their customers. I also think one of the girls in the bar was trashing one of her coworkers, but I couldn't tell for sure. It just seemed like a hostile environment. I get everyone has bad days and things happen, but certain things you just don't say out loud in a workplace. It's unprofessional and makes other people uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. Like I said, food was good and the service was fast, just maybe don't expect much more from the staff themselves.

Great place to stop in the terminal for some lunch/dinner. The staff was very attentive and checked on me multiple times throughout my lunch. The food was actually really good for being airport food! I wanted something healthy so I got a roasted beet salad and some lamb meatballs. They were both delicious and hit the spot. My prickly pear paloma was great! My cucumber martini was also yummy, but I asked to sub the gin with their cheapest vodka and it was a +$4 upcharge?! If I was told that was going to be the case, I would not have changed it to vodka. But everything else about this place was really good.

We got seated and it took quite a while to get our drink order. We just sat there and waited quietly until somebody finally came by. The restaurant was not at capacity and there were plenty of waitstaff around. Once we were finally able to order, our waiter disappeared, and we never saw him again. Apparently he went on his break. When we ask for ketchup that didn't come in a timely manner either. So we finished most of the meal before we could get the condiments. The food was OK, but the ambience and the wait time was not good.

I had a two hour layover and needed a place to sit down and eat with family. There were plenty of seating. Our server was very kind and readily available. The food was delicious but in my opinion, the add-ons were a bit overpriced. Otherwise, it's a great place to sit down, relax, and eat.

Well Cat Cora's name recognition worked but this place falls short. Pros: the shrimp and grits were really great. Shrimp was cooked perfectly, they were a nice size, grits were creamy. Wait staff is very nice and friendly and attentive. Cocktail was refreshing and chilled nicely. Tabletops were clean. Cons: dirty walls and floor, side salad (which was $7.00) had old lettuce, very loud, dirty wait staff station. There are many food offerings here at the ATL airport and I would not come back

Grilled avocado Cobb Salad with chicken and sweet potato fries
Kennan K.

Solid avocado Cobb salad with chicken. The sweet potato fry's were almost hitting. They need a slightly thicker batter. Sweet potato fries turn to mush and need that crusty coating to have a crisp texture or mouth feel. Staff was friendly. Except for one of the male staff members who yells across the room and other staff. Tone that down.

I arrived for my flight only to discover the flight was delayed! I was already planning to walk around and get my steps in, but now that I had additional time I opted to sit down and enjoy a bite to eat. After a quick google search of the best breakfast at the Atlanta Airport, I opted to check out this spot! Cat Cora s kitchen is on Concourse A. The sign is bright yellow so it's easy to locate . If you are coming from the food court area make a left and the restaurant is located on the right hand side. I sat at the bar. There were several people dining in as well as dinning at the bar area. You can also dine directly in front of the open kitchen. I appreciate this, particularly for an airport restaurant. There was only one bartender. She was ok. I would not brag about the service provided, however, I also don't have any complaint's. I opted for the egg white scramble meal. I needed some fiber , and it included a few veggies. You also get a choice of meat, and white or wheat bread. The food came out quickly. The eggs appear to be made to order. I really enjoyed the chicken sausage and felt as though the entire meal was a solid option. It cost about $15 after taxes. I honestly feel like it's a decent value ! I will be back! I look forward to trying their lunch/ diner options!

Very clean.

Worth the trip down the terminal. Shrimp and grits was spicy and authentic. Egg white omelette was done perfectly. Lots of attention to detail. Heavy flatware, clean condiment bottles. Clean floor. Great coffee.

I got to ATL airport much earlier than expected, so I decided to spend my downtime by treating myself out to a nicer, sit-down meal. I came across Cat Cora's through Yelp, and I was intrigued by their menu. I was seated immediately, and I got my order taken soon after. I didn't expect myself to wait an entire hour for the food, but upon arrival of the chicken dish I ordered, I could see why I had waited so long. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy and not too dry. I also loved the potatoes and arugula that came with this dish. It was a hearty meal that kept me satisfied for the rest of the day. I would happily come back to Cat Cora's again, though I wish they had faster service. I felt bad having to flag down waitresses to fill up water and bring me my check.

Joe was killing it! Had at least 15 tables, running the whole place by himself, and was still super attentive and polite. Food was good, shrimp were cooked well, and the restaurant was clean.

Sat at bar, Shay tended to me. Friendly, efficient & good feedback/food suggestions. Sweet potato fries- good, not fried hard enough- were super soft. But the flavor was delicious including the garlic aioli. Fig & ricotta toast- good flavor balance. I wish the bread was toasted more. Was very soft, I would have appreciated a little char and crunch to offset the soft ingredients. Wine- pinot noir, I dont remember which one but it was good! Overall, I would stop in again. Space feels tight compared to some other bars and restaurants in the airport but they have good service and solid food.

I love this type of food, so after searching around and checking out the menu beforehand, I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the gumbo, which was very good, along with the crawfish étouffée. I finished everything off with the bread pudding, and that was amazing. Overall, the food definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant was less than half a mile from the hotel where I was staying, and there was plenty of parking. When you walk in, there's a dining area to the right with a nice outdoor view. As you continue farther inside, there are two larger dining areas with plenty of seating. You can also see into part of the kitchen where they're cooking, and there's a large bar area off to the right. The service was good and quick, and the food was excellent. Everything came out without a long wait, and I really enjoyed the whole meal. If you enjoy Louisiana, Cajun, or Creole-style food and you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out. I would definitely come back, especially for that bread pudding!

I wanted fried fish but not French fries and I saw that there were grilled veggies on the menu. No substitutions. I saw conch on the menu and wanted to sub it for the shrimp on one of the combos. No substitutions. That's the reason I didn't give them 5 stars. The young lady they have working the register was pleasant and even when she told me no, it wasn't a Nasty No. There are tables to sit down and eat so the atmosphere is not bad and honestly what you should expect from a spot like this. The prices are very reasonable and you get a good bit of food so the value is on point. I had the catfish nuggets and they were cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning. They were crunch on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. The tarter tasted homemade. The fries were nothing special and I had a plate full of them remaining. The coleslaw was decent and added a reprieve to the fried fish. The grilled veggies were probably from a bag but they were seasoned decently and did the job. Bae had the gizzards and they were pretty good as well. (Of course I had to taste em lol) I was disappointed that I couldn't get conch or conch fritters or conch salad but it was late and I know spot run out of popular items sometimes. Nevertheless, I will be back.

Spondivits is still Spondivits... and that's exactly why I keep going back…read more It may not have quite the same pop-culture buzz it had years ago when Jeezy was rapping about eating at Spondivits four times a week , but if you actually care about good seafood, this place still deserves its flowers. I've been eating here for years, and what I appreciate most is the consistency. We've watched seafood-boil restaurants pop up everywhere, with seafood tossed into bags and completely buried under oil, butter substitutes, salt and seasoning until you can barely taste what you're eating. Spondivits has never needed to do all of that. The seafood actually tastes like seafood. It's fresh, high-quality, properly cooked and seasoned without being overwhelmed. Even their seafood buckets are served with actual garlic butter, which makes such a difference. The restaurant itself emphasizes fresh seafood simply steamed and served with garlic butter, and that straightforward approach is part of why it has lasted. On this visit, I had a seafood bucket with lobster and crab, and it was exactly what I wanted. Fresh, flavorful and cooked properly without being drowned in seasoning. My girlfriend had the fish of the day, which I believe was branzino, prepared blackened with vegetables. Amazing. Perfectly cooked fish, great seasoning and vegetables that actually complemented the meal instead of feeling like an afterthought. Their menu does offer a catch of the day that can be prepared blackened, grilled, fried or broiled with rice and vegetables. I also have to mention some longtime favorites: The cheese bread. The garlic bread. The gumbo. And I recently learned something I wish I had known years ago. Some ingredients in the gumbo can apparently be removed. I don't eat oysters, and one of the gentlemen helping us let me know that oysters could be left out. That immediately made the gumbo a much better option for me. Another reason I keep Spondivits in the rotation is the location and the hours. Whenever I stay at the Renaissance Concourse near the Atlanta airport, this is an easy go-to. And when almost everything else is closed, Spondivits is still serving a full seafood menu late into the night. Their published hours currently run until 4 a.m., including the kitchen. It also travels surprisingly well. I've enjoyed the food dining in and taking it to go. Is it trendy? Not really. Does it need to be? Absolutely not. Spondivits has been doing seafood since 1979, and sometimes the old-school place that has been doing the same thing for decades is exactly where you need to go. Fresh seafood. Real butter. Great late-night option. Good portions. Consistent quality. And I'll take that over seafood swimming in a plastic bag full of seasoned oil any day. Seafood: Freshness: Late-night availability: Atlanta nostalgia: Cheese bread: ALWAYS YES. Spondivits is still one of my go-to seafood spots in Atlanta.

While the seafood is consistently good, my experience last Sunday during the World Cup Finals completely altered my perspective on this establishment. Because the restaurant was busy and Karl was not working, I sat with a new female bartender who provided excellent customer service. However, a mistake occurred when she accidentally brought out a crab bucket instead of my usual shrimp bucket order. She was very polite and immediately took it back to correct it. While I was waiting, a white manager with tattoo name (I believe name Justin) approached me and aggressively stated that he does not typically remove items from tickets. When I politely explained that I did not order the crab bucket and am a frequent guest, he became highly disrespectful, raised his voice, and told me I could leave if I don't like his attitude. Though he eventually changed his attitude and adjusted the bill after I offered to just pay and leave, the experience was entirely ruined. The bartender apologized multiple times, but the unprofessional behavior came entirely from management. Due to this severe lack of respect and poor leadership, I will not be returning to what used to be my favorite local spot.

My only complaint about this dish is the combo of warm and cold ingredients. Everything was warmed and cooked but the vegetables that were on top, it surprised me for sure. However it was still tasty. They served food and drinks in glass and ceramics, which i am very appreciative of, no plastic water cups, i know that bar is low but that is just a reality nowadays. Good food selection, great customer care, maybe just a tiny bit more attention to the food composition. Would recommend! P.S.
