This Atlanta Bread location near A12 is the only location I know of to sell full loaves of bread. I tried another Atlanta bread company in terminal C and was told they don't. I love Atlanta Bread! Fresh baked bread daily, good looking sandwiches, soups and friendly staff. What more could you want?

Atlanta Jackson Hartsfield airport - Concourse A. On the side of Gates A1-A18 -- Sit down place with fresh and hot food. I used to To Go corner- there was no line and it was super quick Vs the other places in the middle of the airport. For $12 (including Tax) at the airport - I got Bella Chicken sandwich and kettle chips packet. All the sandwiches and salad were in same price range. This one was really good - chicken breast, provolone cheese and tomato/onion on a focaccia sandwich - no spice and simple quick & yummy sandwich before boarding the flight was really awesome !!

There's literally nothing positive I can say about this place other than the food is edible in a pinch. The server sat us at our table and then promptly forgot we were there. The Bloody Mary, the bacon gummy, the potatoes over salted, and the omelette seasonless. The best part was the toast. Service left a lot to be desired. Aside from being forgotten, I asked for Tabasco in an attempt to salvage the Bloody Mary.... But I'm still waiting. I guess Kenyatta was really busy, but when we were there it was our table and only two others. In future I'll just avoid this place and go to the bagel spot up the terminal.

At the Atlanta airport. Four hour layover. Well deserved stop for a Bloody Mary, with a half sandwich and tomato basil soup. Sandwich average but the soup was amazing. Service was great. Buon Appetito and safe travels

Such QUICK service which is much appreciated in a busy airport! My breakfast sandwich took less than 5 mins to come out after ordering, I sat at their dining table vs ordering at the kiosk. Everyone working was extremely friendly! The egg bacon and cheese croissant came out fresh & hot and was very tasty!

"Early rising is no pleasure; early drinking's just the measure". Francois Rabelais It's 8am. A beer? Really? It just seems wrong. Granted I've been up since 5am in order to drive an hour and be an hour early at the airport. So really it's about noon my time. But..still, beer? Beer with an egg and cheese croissant just sounds wrong. Luckily humans much smarter than me came up with such libations as Bloody Mary's, screwdrivers, Mimosas, and Paloma's. I go with the Paloma. When it's too early for beer go with tequila I always say. Well, I've never actually said that, but I guess I do now. The staff of bartenders and servers are friendly and as nonjudgmental as a Planet Fitness. It's 5pm, or 5am somewhere. This is a great spot on the A Concourse for a decent breakfast. Omelette are good, breakfast sandwiches on croissants are really good. If you're at the bar as you're reading this, cheers and safe travels!

Half & Half: Fresh Caprese Sandwich & Tomato Basil Soup
    Dana S.

My takeaway is that it's like Panera lite, if anyone's familiar with Panera Bread. I stopped here for lunch. I was initially seated at a table right at the edge of the seating area where people were walking by with no divider between myself and traffic and it was a little uncomfortable since I was hoping for something more relaxed, so I asked if I could move to a different table, and they were chill about accommodating that. The waitress that ended up serving me at the new table was friendly, and my food came out super quickly. I did a half & half with the fresh caprese sandwich and tomato basil soup. The food was fine but not exactly impressive. The soup was flavourful and the feta topping was an interesting touch, but it had the ultra-pureed consistency of something from a can and it was a little oily for my taste. The sandwich was just very average. The bread was fresh. The meal was only about $15 before tip, so in the airport context I feel like I got what I paid for, but if there's a next time at ATL, I think I'll pay the price of a more expensive restaurant for better quality. If you just want to sit down and be served fast, this is the spot for you.

    Not Chicken Waldorf
    Valerie C.

Wait was longer than ideal... and to my surprise, my order was wrong. I'm pretty sure this is not a chicken Waldorf... but it was tasty nonetheless so 3 stars it is! I would have turned right around to ask for an order switcharoo, but alas, I'm already on my plane. Lesson learned, check order before walking away,

I ate lunch here between flights. And it was, adequate. I ordered the caprese salad hoping for something light and tasty. It was a small portion of spring mix lettuce, a thin-sliced normal tomato (not a good thick slice of heirloom tomato), some slices of bland mozzerella, the tiniest sprinkle of shredded basil, and a watery vinaigrette. All of the ingredients one would expect from a caprese, but executed in school cafeteria manner. The beer was good. The service was fine. But, ill go elsewhere when I return to the airport.

    Turkey panini
    Denise L.

So I always try to eat local food even in an airport, so rather than hitting up Chick Fil A, I came here and took the worker's recommendation on the turkey bacon panini. It came out piping hot and they wrapped the cheese into the paper. It was not good at all, the turkey had a weird scent, and it just lacked flavor. I would've added hot sauce, but they didn't have any so used mustard. I was having a tough time eating it and I open my sandwich and see..something unidentifiable. I show the worker and they are adamant it's not hair...but part of the sauce? I do not think so... Though I wasn't sure if I'd really want something else, I got the caprese. This was much better and I should've stuck with my gut and ordered it the first time. It needed more sauce, but way better than the turkey panini.

The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. The sea salt on top was chef's kiss. The lines move pretty fast. There's nowhere to sit and lounge, so you would need to take these pastries elsewhere to enjoy. The staff is also really nice and patient when my friend and I were trying to decide on pastries. Overall, I think these pastries would do good in an air fryer/oven. I would come back, but bring the pastries home to warm and crisp them up a bit. I also really want to try their burger which is only sold on the weekend at certain times!

I called in the morning to confirm the time they serve it. I was told to get here by 12:30pm because they serve the burgers at 1pm and the line gets long and they run out. Found out later in line from the person in front of me that they make 130-170 burgers and they sell them all. That's a lot of burgers. I thought it was all hype because I got there at 12:20pm and there was no line. I went in and asked to make sure this was the right place, the guy said to wait outside, they start selling it at 1pm. I was 1st in line. Waited 5 mins then went to my car to get my headphones. By the time I came back, 3 people were now in front of me. I guess the 12:30pm recommendation was valid. By 12:35pm there were 20 people behind me. I do not like waiting, so I'm glad I was early to at least be served 1st. Never been here before, they are busy. When I got here, it was packed with people buying bread and pastries inside. I didn't get to buy the sourdough bread. It was sold out. Apparently, the locals come every Sunday for this burger. I guess they hang a burger flag out when it's burger time some of the people in the line in front of me felt a way that they didn't do that this time. I guess they're getting comfortable and just trying to knock the rush/crowd out. I think coming at one would be fine if they're selling 170 burgers I think the problem is they don't limit the amount of burgers you can buy. At least I don't think so. Now for this burger. Not worth it. Not worth the wait or the hype. I'm still surprised how basic tasted. They need a housemate sauce or something on it. It's literally just one burger and pickles. If it was pack full of flavor and well seasoned, that would be enough. But it's not. The best part about it is the bun. And 30mins after eating the burger, I didn't feel so good. My stomach started hurting, and that was the only thing I ate all day. I avoid eating beef altogether, but I will here and there as of late. My boyfriend eats beef, but he started feeling sick maybe an hour later as well. I was disappointed because I didn't know they pre-make the burgers and just throw them in the bag. You can't customize it or anything. I think we got sick because the burgers were medium. They were not cooked well, and I always get beef burgers cooked all the way through. The way they're rushing you out of there like an express assembly line is crazy. I really wanted to wait to ask them to prepare me two, made well since they were making burgers as they were going along, I believe. I would have waited to have them made well but the way they were rushing you out, it just wasn't the place to ask for anything extra or additional and I don't like places like that. Too strict too many rules and you don't feel comfortable. Even though you're spending $70 on 2 burgers and some pastries. Compared to a pack of ground beef to make your own burgers, this is a lot. I bought two burgers $17 each, and 5 pastries to try because I won't be coming back here anytime soon. I will say, great pastry selection. I was talking to a guy in line and I asked him if he ever had the kouign amann. It looked good. He said yes, it was good, and the chocolate kouign amann, he's going to try as well. I purchased a chocolate kouign amann, a regular kouign amann, cardamom bun, a hazelnut bun, and monkey bread. I wrote everything down outside that I was going to buy so I didn't waste any time. I already spotted the monkey bread when I walked in. The woman packaging up the food was about to fix her face to say they didn't have any monkey bread, when they were clearly at the other end. Maybe that was her doing me a favor because I was highly disappointed in the monkey bread. I'm on a monkey bread kick, and I have been trying it at a lot of places. This one was not good. They sprinkle lemon zest on it, which kind of threw me off, and the bread itself was very dry even after warming it up, adding melted butter and honey. It still was not good. The best thing was the original kouign amann. The chocolate one was not good because they have chocolate on the inside kind of like moose or ganache, but it was overwhelming. It tasted like dark cocoa chocolate, and I thought the pastry was dark because the whole thing was chocolate, but it actually was burnt. A lot of the items looked burnt to be honest. I think the demand is getting to this place. The cardamom bun was just ok. The hazelnut bun was just an extension of the monkey bread to me. Not a fan. I remember growing up, we went to the local butcher and bakery to get fresh meat, bread, and pastries for cheap. I like the idea of a local bakery and butcher shop like this, but this place is not cheap. I'd skip this one.

For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!
