I will never go to this salon again. $35 gel manicure didn't even last 34 hours!!! Paid plenty of money to have nice nails while in Las Vegas and nail was chipped by end of first night. How does this happen when u pay that much money for gel? Especially when I am just sitting around gambling or going out to dinner. Every day another nail had flapping or chipped polish. No response from them when I tried contacting for a refund. Terrible service. Should have got my money back and I could go back and ask mail tech for my generous tip back. Pre-pandemic I loved Magic and never had any issues with gel polish peeling or chipping. Once things started opening back up I was excited to go back to Magic, but I've been there three times now and tried a different color and type each time, and every time the gel polish has peeled off my nails in sheets within days. The first time I did go back and they fixed it for free, but the next two times I just did not have the time to keep going back after multiple nails peeled off. The receptionist is also quite mean, but all of the other staff I have encountered were super kind. I give it 3 stars because the shop has done a fantastic job making the experience safe during Covid-19 by putting up dividers between technicians and customers as well as requiring masks and frequent hand washing. I wish I could go back because I did feel safe there, but it's just not worth the money when the nails do not last at all. read more

Newer salon that has lots of color options and is very clean! We stopped in to get a manicure before a wedding in Cleveland. We relied on Yelp to help us find a good place because you don't want to do nails at a place that isn't good. There are lots of chairs, colors, and clean equipment. We had a male manicurist who was funny, engaging, and did an excellent job. I got a regular manicure and my man got a man buff. There were lots of people in the salon too which is a good sign for a great business! You may want to do an appointment though so you don't have to wait. So far the color is really staying on and looking good several days later. I'm happy! read more

I've had my nails done here twice (once by a guy, once by a girl). I only came to the shop because they had the Nexgen dip. I can confidently say these were the 1st and 2nd WORST manicures I've ever had. They don't take the time to shape and file your nails after layering the dip, they just dip and go. When I showed my techs the obvious speed bumps, lumps, hills and valleys on my nails, especially from the side profile, they'd quickly file one, asked me if I like it, then move onto the next thing. Id just say yes because it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. I really wish I had pictures but every time after getting these done I'd immediately go to my car and start filing and shaping my nails. For a nearly $60 manicure I shouldn't have to redo my nails. The first set started lifting after a week. And for anyone who was sold on the Nexgen nails because they are more environmentally friendly than acrylics, they will not fill your nails, they will "refill" your nails which involves taking off your current nails and giving you an entire new set, which is not only a rip off seeing as how I paid $10 more for a refill then I did for the original set, but completely defeats the purpose of them being environmentally friendly if you get tips because of the plastic waste. Lee did an amazing job on my pedicure but I would never get my nails done here again. read more

I had only been here once before and had a decent experience. So I was in a pinch for time today and I called about two hours before and scheduled an appointment. I only scheduled a gel polish change and showed up right on time. I waited about 15 minutes before I sat down in the chair (no big deal, they seemed busy). My technician, Kim, was the biggest problem with this entire experience. She took my gel polish off by ripping it off and scraping it with her own fingernails, which ultimately ruined my natural nails and ripped the top layer of nail off (making it look as if I just got acrylic nails taken off). The polish itself was a horrible job and I'm upset that I even paid for it. She was rough with my nails and did not care about the final product. I am so unsatisfied with the service, technician, and final product that I will never come back again and neither will my other family members who have been customers to Magic Nails for a while now. read more

I came here based on reviews the place is very clean nice decor everyone seems to be friendly I was happy with my pedicure but not happy with the painting of my toe nails the polished does not go all the way down they looked about 2 weeks grown out and 4 of my toes are not completely covered I will go back try someone different everyone has their own preference I'm a nail tech so I now my paint job is not what it should be read more

Terrible experience yesterday! Let me just say I don't normally write bad reviews but good ones in general, but yesterday was horrible. This is actually what my mom experienced because she literally came home and took her nail polish right off, even after they attempted to fix it. I made 2 appointments for us. I got a gel mani/ pedi and my mom got the new gel powder full set nails with a pedi. After $130 later, we were both unhappy. My nails were OK, considering I had to tell them what to do next. Just because you cut nails doesn't mean you don't file them! If I didn't watch her the whole time and stop her and tell her to fix this and do that next, it would have turned out horrible. As for my mom's experience the lady was not listening to what she wanted and was very impatient and straight out rude! She was rushing my mom and just wanted to be done with her. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED WITH SUCH DISRESPECT AT A PLACE. I am never going back and would never recommend anyone to go. This is my story and no one else's. Others may have a better experience but I have dealt with it twice and will never again. I came to this place thinking I'd have good customer service and they'd do a good job on my nails. I don't normally get my nails done but there was a special occasion so I decided to get them done. I came in wanting to do dip because I figured I'd try something new. Someone suggested Tina To do them for me because she was the "best". I came to her with a picture of what I wanted but she couldn't do most of it so I stuck with the three simple colors. I asked her before she put the gems on multiple times to not glue them but set them on my nails so I can see if I like them. She continued to say I have something in mind and glued three gems on my thumb. Before she could do the other I told her I didn't really like it and I wanted something else and picked this gold triangle with gems on the bottom. She continued to say something has to be in the middle. I told her I liked it like that but she proceeded to put a small star in the middle. Then aggressively took off the three gems from my other thumb, leaving a hole at the top of my thumb and "fixed" it with clear nails polish. Didn't do much. Because it was later she was rushing so she hurried up and did what she did on my thumb but it wasn't even centered. As I was waiting for it to dry a lady was sitting next to her and we were all talking. She then told her "you can do her nails next time". As if she didn't want to or she get some way. On top of everything I was charged for length even though they were my nails. And $10 for gems that I didn't necessary want. I was so irritated I needed to leave so I paid and left. Which I shouldn't have paid. I called the next morning to tell them that I was upset unsatisfied with my nails and they were complaining as to why I didn't say something last night. I told them I didn't want to stay any longer since I was there for a long time. I was continued to get an attitude and told I could get taken care of by the maneuver later on that day. I had work so I had to schedule the next morning (today). I came in thinking it would be a little different and maybe I'd get treated better but NO. I came in and was told to sit at the chair then he asked what was wrong and while I was telling him Tina comes over and goes you said you liked it why didn't you say anything when you were here and I explain why I didn't and she continued to say well you should have and so on. So I told him if you didn't want to fix my nails tell me now because I didn't want to be taken care of by someone else who was going to do it in a rush and not care. He asked what I wanted done and that was it. I didn't remember the color of of the nail that I choose to have on all my nails and he rolled his eyes. So I went to get up and look for the color and found it in 2 minutes even though he said he had hundreds and he wouldn't know which one. (It was the correct one that I chose) we didn't speak the entire time he was doing my nails. Seemed as if he didn't want to do them, this which who wouldn't honestly. I guess. After he was done he got up not saying anything out his things away and went upfront. I didn't know whether I should leave, stay or what to do. I had to ask him if I was done. I made an appointment for a Saturday to get my toe polish changed and gel manicure. What a horrible experience! Henry took care of me and I am not sure what his problem was. When he was doing my toes he was digging his pointy nails into my skin. Then when he did my manicure he literally ripped off my cuticles and made me bleed, no apology. Never bothered to take off his mask and ask me how I wanted my French polish done. Just rude, rude, rude and not cheap. On the plus side receptionist was friendly and despite what other reviewers said they were very clean. They use liners in the pedicure bowels and I still saw the scrubbing them as well as wiping down all the stations and chairs when they were getting ready to close. Visiting from out-of-town I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I was a walkin on a Tuesday morning and was surprised it was already busy with customers. I was pleasantly greeted and escorted to a station to begin my gels with Tina. She was pleasant and friendly, and understood that my cuticles and nail beds were sensitive. She did an awesome job. I was not bothered when she left to go assist another tech do a personalize nail art job of a young lady who brought in a design on her phone. The music that was playing and the cleanliness of the establishment made it easy to wait. My signature pedicure was done by Tyler who too was pleasant and friendly. My feet were smooth as silk. Admittedly, these two services were a bit pricier than what I'd pay for back home at a strip mall establishment, but I felt the only thing that was missing was the champagne or wine and it would have been a comparable experience to the more upscale salon experience I'm used to shelling out that kind of money for. The child's mani pedi was perfect for my daughter and the pedi with sugar scrub included a great massage. I am super-picky and was very satisfied! Polish was done well, and facility is very clean. Clean, sanitary salon. Si was very proficient and seemed to be more upset than I about a broken nail I had, so he placed an acrylic over top for free. They will guarantee the gel polish for two weeks, just save your receipt. Gel manicure was $30, very fair compared to the high end salon I had been frequenting. read more

Every single one of them asked me how I was doing and are always smiling. I do not have a certain nail tech that I request because they are all wonderful and they all talk to you and never rush your service. The nail technician left and started her next client without finished my manicure and didn't even say anything! I been a loyal customer for 5 years, every month my regular a pedi. Today was no different, showed up at the time of my appointment, they took me promptly, like always. The nail tech made her way to me, started off nicely......She was moving very quickly, didn't attempt to get all of the previous nail polish removed, didn't put cuticle lotion on my toes, barely clipped/snipped my cuticles, she didn't even both to cut the nail on my big toe on my left foot, so I bought it to her attention, she replied "I did clip the nail" I replied no you did not, I have been watching the whole time....When I spoke the "manager" she disagreed with me and proceed to charge me $27 taking off $5.00 for nail polish. In short, that transaction will not be processed and I will never step foot in that place again!!!. I am deeply disappointed with this place today. I've been going there for maybe 2 years, and really, I went there the first time because of the reviews I read on Yelp. I've been satisfied up until today. Now, I've been getting my nails done and getting pedicures for about 25 years, so I've been just about everywhere and have had all kinds of service--good, bad, mediocre, you name it. But today at Magic Nails was the very first time I was charged extra to have my nails trimmed along with a fill and gel polish. I don't have artificial nails, they just lay a top coat of acrylic on my nails to strengthen them, then I get the UV gel polish. I made the appointment for a fill (an appointment they made me wait 20 minutes for), which always and everywhere includes the manicure. Si (the owner I think) tried to tell me that it doesn't and charged me $3.00 for a "cut down." He never cut anything, BTW, and did everything with the Dremel, just like he always has. He has done my nails at least 5 times, and I've never had this charge before. I've never been charged to have my nails cut with a fill ever. Not ever. This is a first, and it's left such a sour taste that I won't go back. Which is a bummer because it was really convenient for me. He told me everyone charges that. No, they don't, and he never has either. I don't know what's going on there--Si was in a really pissy mood today--but you don't gouge a customer because you're in a bad mood. Oh, well, I hope he's glad that that $3.00 charge cost him a customer. read more
