I was hesitant to try a new nail salon, but was in a bind and needed my nails done ASAP! Walked in to Magic Nails today around 9:30 with no appointment and was immediately taken care of! The gentleman who did my nails (Kevin) did a beautiful job and paid great attention to detail! I did a dip manicure and was done in less than an hour, with a beautiful set of fresh nails! It got very busy in the salon around 9:45 or so and I could tell they have a lot of regulars which is always a good sign. This review kind of breaks my heart to type. I enjoy the system they have going here, it's great for someone with an unpredictable schedule like me. I have always been greeted warmly and most of the techs I have had are quite friendly. 3 times ago, I had a set of acrylics. They looked great upon leaving. I tipped over 25%. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks my nails were lifting and popping off. I figured it had to be a fluke! Maybe a old batch of acrylic? ‍ I went back and had them repaired and rebased the very few remaining. He was kind and apologetic. Great! I am back on board!...fast forward to 2 weeks and 1 day. 3 nails remain. The rest lifted again from the bottom and snapped off (painful!) I wanted to give them one last shot and tell them what is happening. I also took a risk because I was headed out of town for a wedding, seeing family I haven't seen in years AND seeing a great friend after 20 years! I sat down and began to talk to the tech. ...she did not even respond to me. I was unclear if she may not have understood me or not. I explained again that this was REALLY important to me and what has happened the last 2 times. She said nothing. I just prayed she was just a quiet girl, but she is hearing me. Wrapping up...went to the wedding, saw my family and my friend. The whole time I tried hiding my hands in pockets and holding my hands in a fist or folded to hide that I only have 4 nails on Pic attached. Sad to say strike 3 for Magic Nails. I went in for a dip rebase. Representative lied to my face stating I need to get a whole new set as she cannot Rebase my nails. I said okay and she soaked off my nails as I needed them done asap for an event. nail tech kept looking around every two seconds to see see what other nail workers were doing and other customers instead of paying attention to my nails. Asked for a cuticle cleanup and did it really badly and not really into doing her job. My nails cracked within the next 48 hours and were so far off from my cuticle Line. Do not recommend going here and charged an outrageous amount for this. Very rushed services. Save your money. read more

Not even painted all the way down on my feet or hands. For $142 I would expect exceptional work to be done! This needs to be fixed!!! Look at the pictures attached, crazy how I was told $75 for feet and $42 for manicure and ended playing way over! Don't know how any manicure tech would think this is decent work. Came here today for a pedi and a fill with a color change. Gina Tran did both and I gotta say she has been the best so far !! My pedi came out great and the massage she gave was the best ever !!! My acrylics also came out super pretty!!! She gave me the exact shape I asked for and colored them perfect ! I've had my nails done at Magic Nails and Lash twice and here are my takeaways: ++ The place is HUUUGE and they operate like a well oiled machine. ++ The selection of colors is beyond impressive! If they don't have it - it probably doesn't exist. ++ They do traditional polish, gel/shellac, acrylics, and dip powders! ++ Lena does an amazing job! My acrylic nails typically start lifting near the cuticle at 2 weeks - not this time! I waited until 4 weeks to go in and get them rebased and they still hadn't lifted! Hooray! +/- It's a little further and a bit more than I would like to spend to get my nails done; however for the quality I'm willing to splurge a little. I had been here before and it was and pretty popular but I just had an $80 dip manicure -- I have never paid more than $65 and when I asked they charged me $20 to file my nails -- I didn't change the shape and it was little maintenance to keep them the same shape but now you're charging to file my nails!?? The nail tech did not touch my cuticles on my right hand, even when I asked her to (she indicated she would do them after the manicure was done...?). Now, only 4 days later, my nails are already lifting and catching hair. Which is usually not supposed to happen if you clean up the cuticles prior to placing the polish. read more

This place and its people are the most dishonest. My daughter went for her eyelashes and they charged twice. The lady played stupid that the payment didn't go through, and then the "manager" came and told my daughter that she needed to pay again. When I arrived at the place my daughter was in tears as to how they had humiliated her. We paid again call the bank to verify and the payment went through. We called the bank to cancel one transaction and Magic Nails told the bank that she had not paid twice. They literally steal from her, a high school student who just makes so little. Just moved to the area and am a regular dip nail person back home. Always nerve-racking to find a new nail person. The place was very busy. They have nugenesis and another brand of dip powder. I asked for almond shape or oval and ended up with rounded off square nails. Overall the dip was applied we'll but they use the shellac top coat with the light. I caught a rough spot in one nail before I left and they fixed it but later I realized there were brush marks and smooth but uneven lines in the top coat. I may give them another try but I will pay extra close attention to the top coat. read more

This place is very hit or miss. You will get some people who take their time and others who just rush through. They came Up with a new menu option for pedicures. On the plus side the ambiance is upscale and they are expanding. It's classy in appearance I DID NOT enjoy being upselled when I sat in the pedicure chair. When I said I wanted a basic mani pedi the tech directed me to the lowest scaled upsell on the menu. I said I wanted the basic AGAIN which was not on the menu. I could see her countenance respond in a negative way. From there on out the pedicure was mediocre, did not last a week before chipping and calluses back. I always prefer a good scrub on my calluses and that did not happen until I asked her to continue and then that was for less than a minute. Save your money, there are too many other places that take more pride in taking care of their customers. Oh yeah and remember they only take cash for tips or Venmo to the tech. The tech was all about getting tipped... leaving a final bad taste on service there. read more

To start, The last time I was there, my nails were done very well.. this time I am completely unsatisfied for a $75 full set. 4 of 5 nails on one hand are crooked, lumpy and not even done all the way down to the cuticle on all 10 nails. I called, she said to go in they will fix them no problem.. obviously not. I waited for the girl that did them to finish with another client, she then came to me and said what's wrong? I showed her and she argued with me for a few minutes about how "my fingers go like that".. after basically refusing to fix them I left with no solution. I have been coming in for a while and had a good experience sometimes. But I went in last week and I am very disappointed. I got dip for the first time and within 4 days all of my nails started cracking. So I went in and asked if they could redo them. He was very rude in fixing my nails. He would file my nails down and I kept telling him that it hurt and he said "oh you are fine". He walked away 7 times by the time my nails were done. Then when he did the top coat he let me sit there until they were dry which was fine. 15 minutes after he put the top coat on he comes back and goes "oh you are still here you can leave now". In a very rude tone. Here we are 3 days after he "fixed" my nails and they are cracking again. read more

If you want uneven nails and terrible service go to magic nails. Oh and don't you worry it will never be the same price even if you get the exact same thing each time. You will either come out with subpar nails or just overall terrible nails its a suprise everytime. To pay 70 dollars for poor nails/service is honestly so frustrating. I took my 10 year old daughter for a fun treat of a mani/pedi.  The girl doing my daughter's nails told her they were too short and proceeded to put TIPS on her- yes tips.  At that time we were separated as I was still getting a pedicure.  Who puts TIPS on a 10-year-old!?   I asked her to please remove them and just give her a polish.  Not only did she remove them, but she also removed my daughter's skin by excessive filing after the tips were removed (pic below).  We left with three of her nails bleeding.  Unacceptable.  This place does not care- they are a sweatshop and are filthy and rushed. Quinn? Doesn't care- never has- you're a #. So many stories reported to him- not even a shrug. He won't miss you, you're a #. With so many great options out there, treat yourself to a place worthy of your time and money. Side note- My toes are bubbled, the cuticle not touched, and the polish looks grown out. Side-side note- Had lashes done there yesterday- they didn't change my towel for a clean one in between people AND she dropped the tweezers on the ground, picked those bad boys up, and put them right back on my eyes. Yes, filthy, and not a care. All of their chains need an inspection and their employees need licenses. My Denver friends who haven't sold out to the burbs like myself have the same things to say about their other locations. We're all done- shame on my for trying again- this time, subjecting my child. I'm really sad that my experience went so well but the job was done subpar. I was in 5 days ago and spent $60+ for this. I tried to ignore the crooked nail and tried not to be picky but two broken nails in 5 days? I think she filed them too in too far shaping them(hence the crooked) and filed very thin on tocausing the breakage. I am very disappointed. Willing to try the place again but maybe a different nail tech. My natural nails haven't broken in years. Annnnnnd the second one is gone. 6 days post manicure.
