I make it a point to post reviews after several visits. I first went to magic nails back in December to have a nail repaired and truly enjoyed the environment. I went back in March and was paired with Layla. She did a phenomenal job on my fill-in, the shaping that I requested and pedicure. So good that I returned for another fill-in on a Saturday. I called before and confirmed that Layla was available and was told she was. I drive over to the salon and the young man says Layla is running behind by an hour. I told him I fully understood and rescheduled for that following Monday. I asked how early she would be there and he advised to come when they opened. I arrive and Layla's 10 minutes late. She spent our time having conversations with another young man who work there. Passing credit cards. Making orders for the shop and needing to stop almost every 10 to 15 minutes. I enjoyed the results of magic nails but was beginning to see it wasn't consistent. The following visit I was paired with LeeLee (sp?) A remarkably quick young pregnant lady. She was charming and engaging and fast. I loved the work that she did. I made an appointment yesterday to meet w Leelee again. I know from experience to confirm everything before leaving my house. I confirmed I was being paired with the correct young woman, I asked for a specific time and the young woman on the phone had to have been training. She put me on hold every 2 minutes. I took that to mean she was confirming everything I asked. I show up for my appointment, the young lady and another woman at the reception counter seemed very confused. Then another woman came and looked at the computer. Finally Leelee walked up, listen to what the ladies had to say, looked at me and then walked back to her station. No. Acknowledgment. The one woman I was familiar with said that Lily wasn't in fact available and wanted to know if I could reschedule. At this point I just said I would go somewhere else, very quietly and politely. I have been coming here for over 3 years always left feeling great. I came in for a lash refill Arina did my lashes and one side was longer than the other and so I went back and asked her if she could fill them in a little more she took care of me right away, when I checked them they now look worse. Now I'm waiting again hoping she can resolve this issue. I don't yelp anyone but for the price I pay. They've always been great. Just be careful of who does your lashes. The business is great. So my review is with mixed feelings. My friend booked a group of us for an event and she was late but the associate knew our group once I told him her name. Friendly staff. So busy in here and packed with people. A little overwhelming to me. They have beverages to purchase or free water. You pick your color and then they instruct you where to sit. It was nice to chat with my friends and get my pedicure. The tech placed disposable flip flops on my feet even though I told her I had my own sandals for the occasion. Then we moved to a manicure table but I didn't take my stuff as I wasn't sure if we would return to the others. We didn't. I didn't like that my stuff was left. The manicure was fine. She did chat with me a little until one of my friends came to sit with me. My friend loves this place and I'm glad for her. I didn't love it as much. The tech didn't remove the little bit of polish left on my two big toes before putting on the new polish. Before doing my manicure she texted one of the toes to see if they were dry and put polish back on as it wasn't. She used a machine to set it more. The toe with the additional polish is a different color from the others and it is still chipped. The nail color also looked different on my hands than feet which is odd looking. And the next day is already chipping. My friend said they'd fix it for free but I don't feel like driving out of my way. Too bad. I wanted to like this place. Tips are cash or Venmo only. read more

Gave away my appointment after I called to let them know I would be 5 minutes late. And I walked in 4 minutes after my appointment started. I've been told multiple times here that all of their nail techs are great which most are okay. Theres one ive found that can actually shape them correctly. They charge me at least $90 for a full acrylic set every time and if I'm spending between that and $150, I would hope they could at least shape them correctly. They offered for me to go with someone else and if you don't have one nail tech there already I wouldnt recommend going with someone else they offer or you'll run into the same problem. The one nail tech I found that did a good job charged $120 for French tip acrylic set, and they're lifting after a week and a half. Wouldn't waste your money here read more

Me and my friend came here to get a pedicure service before a girls trip that weekend and I can say I will not be returning. Although I did opt in for the regular pedicure rather than an upgraded one, I was done with the service in 20 minutes. While there was others around me who also verbally said they were getting the regular pedicure and were in their chair 15 minutes longer than I was. I waited in the chair an additional 10 minutes after I was done for my friend to finish. The "warm" towels that she brought were cold and left them on for no longer than 45 seconds. My friend was happy with her service. Her lady was nice and chatty, Mine said nothing and only spoke when needing to know if she could take my card upfront to pay. I said no and requested gel. She started on my nails but she had her next appointment walking in, at which point she started rushing me. I ended up with sloppy looking nails , all bumpy and uneven. This is my first time at this salon. I can't say I'm unhappy, but the job that was done on my nails wasn't any better than what I've had done at any other salon. I had pictures in my phone of what I DIDN'T want and Bonnie refused to even discuss it. I spoke with her on the phone and again when I went in the salon. She said, "I don't care what you don't want, I care about what you want." She said they have been in business 20 years by doing the best job. The last few times the nail person nicked my cuticles with the Spinny thing and made them bleed and scab. It wasn't pretty lol today I came in for a dip and told the nail tech to please be carefulso that my cuticles don't bleed. She did a great job with that but one hand my dip looks fabulous and is all shiny and pretty, and the polish has glitter and on the other hand all the nails are dull and don't look right. I decided to give Magic nails another try after my horrible experience one year ago because of proximity. I called ahead to make a reservation to get gel removal and basic manicures for myself and my daughter. Because of my horrible experience with the man 1year ago, I requested a female for my services. Bonnie's response was "Oh honey - you don't need a male to remove gel it's just foils". I tried to explain that I had had a bad experience there with a male and she said "whatever - just come in and we will see who is available". I was shocked by her complete lack of customer care and asked for her name and she barked "Bonnie - do you need me to spell that for you?" Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Went for the first time today and was treated like a Queen! Thanh and Eva really treated me very special and attended too!! I had a pic of pink ombré acrylic nails with chrome finish in the middle two and thumb; and Eva "nailed it!" (Pun intended) They have a full menu of services from the usual to lashes, permanent makeup, etc and even beer or wine! 2.5 stars. I was really hesitant to go based on the reviews and had originally planned to go somewhere else but they were closed. I am always very optimistic when I go to a nail salon every place is different. I was able to walk right in for a pedicure and Dip set. The place is pretty large and it was packed full wall to wall with customers and employees, and a tarp with new construction for expansion. I hope so they can spread out and give everyone some space. I got a basic pedi because I didn't have a lot of time, nothing seemed rushed and overall it was good service. My issue is that less than 24 hrs the shellac was peeling, and I had to go back to have it corrected, which they did without question. And then less than 8 hrs later, another shellac was peeling. I typically pay for higher packages so I can relax but didn't this time and I'm glad I didn't because I feel like I've already wasted my money with the inconvenience of having to drive back and forth for them to fix this. My dip on the other hand has been great, so I've got mixed feelings. read more

My wife pays $100 for a pedi, and the last time she was there, Thursday 9/7/23, she, and several other customers, had to endure the very irritating noise caused by construction. No one on the management side said a word. The managers/owners care about one thing, money! If you are in a hurry and don't care about your $55 gel lasting more than 3 days this is the place. Getting my nails done is usually a treat and this was stressful and not worth it.
