I just moved from San Francisco to Denver and needed to find an Aveda salon. I looked on Yelp and read the reviews and made an appointment here. When I first walked in I was greeted promptly and offered hot tea or water. The waiting lounge also provides snacks if you're hungry. I was paired with Mary who is full of energy. She asked me many questions really trying to understand what I was looking for in my cut and partial highlights. When Mary was styling my hair we discussed the products she was using and their benefit for my hair type. I have always used Aveda products but knew the move to a new climate would require some changes. Overall I was very happy with Mary and the experience at Centre Salon. I love my new color and style! I have already booked two additional appointments and am glad I can cross "finding a new stylist" off my to do moving list! Thanks Mary! read more

Zero stars. My fiance scheduled an appointment 2.5 weeks in advance and was cancelled on the day of the appointment. When the asked if she could reschedule for the middle of the day on a work day and she couldn't, they proceeded to rudely tell her that they only had one time available in the next two weeks...in the middle of the day on a Saturday. I have very thick, heavy hair and she does a great job of keeping it manageable. She keeps up with the latest trends and techniques. I love Aveda products and the Aveda salon experience. Had an appointment for partial highlights and haircut. Found staff to be quite rude. While highlights processed I was told, "You can go to your car". Ended up sitting in my car for 30 minutes. The finished highlights were not the color we had discussed. Not sure if they were on too long or just wrong to begin with. Entire appointment took way too long .Will never go back! I love Aveda products and I finally found the salon and stylist at Centre Salon & Spa in Lone Tree. I've been to 3 other Aveda salons in the area and this is by far my favorite and the only one worth a review to help those of you out there looking for a place to get lovely locks. The atmosphere is calming since it's not a huge place. Every one is friendly every time (no snobby lobby girls) and my stylist Mariana is heaven sent. She's gorgeous and sweet and loves to play with color. I've also had my very first facial here and I'm still wondering why I waited so long. Just had a haircut by Lindsay Jaworski and am very happy with the results! They offer you water or tea when you come in and have someone manning the phones. The salon is right off 470 and so it's an easy location to get to and plenty of parking. They were kind enough to fit me in last minute after a cancellation. I ordered a women's cut and it was $45. They give you a bit of a massage, wash your hair, and get styling! Lindsay asked how I wanted my hair and then explained how she interpreted it and what she was going to do, and it sounded great to me. She cut my hair and blowdryed it into a style, and made sure to ask where I part my hair in the process. My hair came out great and conversation with her was effortless. I schedule my next appointment with her, and I'm happy to find a great hairstylist near me! Highly recommend Lindsay. read more

I've had a hard time finding a salon I really enjoy since moving here. I went here because I love Aveda products and it's close to my work. They were able to get me an appointment the next day. Mariana was very friendly and sweet, and did a great job cutting my hair and with my conditioning treatment. She always made sure I knew about the products she was using and how she was applying them...but there was no pressure to buy them. The heat protectant spray she recommended is my new favorite (I ended up buying that) and she gave me lots of free samples to take home and try. She even made time to wax my eyebrows even though I had not scheduled that service. I will be back! read more

We got to our appointments just to be told they didn't have time to do what we needed that they squeezed us in as it is. We did not ask to be squeezed in smh if you don't have to time to do what the client is scheduling for then don't schedule the appointment to make it worse we waited all day for this afternoon appointment so now we don't have time to go anywhere else and it's my anniversary so I needed it done. Mona was amazing! I have been to so many salons where the stylist does not listen and does what she thinks is best. Mona did not do that, she listened to my hair concerns. She listened to everything I said and did a fabulous job! I am super picky with my hair color and length and she nailed it! She did the color perfect and she left my length. She is very pleasant to talk to and sweet. I highly recommend Mona to anyone needing a stylist. So far, so good! This is a newly opened sister salon to the other Centre salons in Denver (I believe there are six). i used to go to the one on Hampden in Tiffany Plaza and loved it. This one is closer, so I switched. They have full spa services and are hungry for new clients right now to show off their new salon! If you go now, you'll be given several incentive cards that give $20 to off for someone you know (their haircuts start at $30, so that's an Aveda salon cut for $10!!), and when they redeem that coupon you get $25 toward product! I don't know about you, but that's an incredible deal. Take advantage of it if you can. It won't last forever. These guys know how to do salons and will soon be busier than they can handle. read more

I always feel awkward making conversation with people I don't know, but these people make it very easy and fun! I have a pixie cut, and anyone who has a pixie knows they are easy to butcher. Mary however does a fabulous job. My hair never has that awful just cut stage when it's too short. I love coming for my color and style here. My stylist, Ben, always asks about what I want and also makes great recommendations when I ask. The bonus is that his recommendations actually make me look good!! No "uh-oh" feeling that can sometime follow when letting your stylist take the reins! The products are great and do wonders for my hair. Probably my only problem is that others have noticed what a great place this is, so last minute appointments can be tough. I think a reputable company should guarantee their work. Just a warning if you are not happy with a hair color they will not fix it unless you want to spend full price AGAIN. Very expensive place. I would avoid Lily for hair coloring. Now I have to go find a place to fix my hair. read more

My son, who is 14 years old and a freshman in high school needed a haircut. In the past, my husband would take him to a sport clips type of place; and, the poor kid rarely got the haircut he wanted. With soccer pictures tomorrow, he needed a cut and he needed a really good one. I found Centre Salon through Yelp. As soon as I saw his stylist, Kylie, I knew he was going to get a great haircut. She gave him a great consultation, an education and a great cut. He left there so happy with his hair, he couldn't stop smiling and neither could I. He finally got the cut that he wanted, it's perfect, he looks so good! And, looking good is more important to him now that he is in high school. Last weekend, my group of girlfriends and I went to Centre Salon for hair and makeup for prom. Our appointment was at 11, and I didn't get in until 12:30. We were all satisfied with our hair, makeup was a completely different story. Even the lady that did our hair directed us to a different makeup place, telling us none of the estheticians had makeup experience, which turned out to be obvious. I had to go out to Walgreens during my appointment to get eyelash glue because they didn't have any. Four out of five of us ended up taking off our makeup because we didn't like the panda eye eyeshadow and cakey dried up foundation. My makeup artist eventually asked me if I could put on my foundation because she couldn't figure out how to put it on to get coverage. When I finally told my artist I just wanted to do my own makeup, they overcharged me for my hair. All my friends had the same hair artist and got charged $45, while I got charged $65. Definitely a disorganized salon and would not recommend to anyone!! Made our prom so much more stressful than it should be. read more
