I came in for my first eyelash extensions and was very impressed! I was recommended here by a friend who said they do great work and had reasonable prices - she was right! While it's a little hike from the downtown area, it's worth it to have someone do it right! The salon itself is huge! Tons of spots for manicures and pedicures and about 6 eyelash extension tables. I made an appointment but I don't know if you necessarily need one since there are so many people working there. Since it was my first time, it took longer but only about an hour and 15 minutes. Tu was my eyelash tech and she did an amazing job! The process itself was relaxing and she talked me through it and gave me advice on after care. They look so so good and I'm obsessed! I wasn't really comfortable from the get go. The nail tech rushed me with a dip color choice, and then wasn't wearing a mask and said he isn't vaxxed. A bit alarmed but sat there anyway and got my nails done. Needless to say I wasn't totally comfortable with the lack of safety protocol in this salon that pre-Covid, enjoyed very much. My daughter just went with her friends to get acrylics, the lady just started painting her regular nails and when my daughter said, "wait I asked for acrylics" the lady replied, "no you didn't and now it is too late". I moved around the lone tree area about a year ago and hadn't been getting my nails done since my old place was so far. After shopping in the area I decided to go in for an eyebrow wax, they got me in quick and did a great job and I saw the flow of things. The next time I went I decided t try the dip and get my eyebrows done and I was instantly in love. They are quick, efficient and everyone is friendly, I've now been consistent a customer for the past 6-7 months. I recommend this place to everyone I know. I came in to get a manicure and pedicure. I have gotten a pedicure there before, and the pedicure was fine. When I went to go get my nails done I did a dip manicure which I usually do. She had messed up my nails and had just painted over the top of them so they were very rough feeling. She had dip underneath all of my fingernails that was caked on and rockhard when I left. This place deserves less than zero! I started going when they only had a few chairs and were friendly. The more popular and larger they got, the ruder and sloppier they got. I always saw Thuy (Tee) for years. She & her husband own that location although they are all owned by family. The last time I was there she filed and sanded nails but forgot to have me wash. She applied the Clear polish. When I got home I realized what had happened, I went back the next day assuming she would remove the Clear polish, I would wash my hands and she would reapply the clear coat to my nails. My Mistake!!! She accused me of messing up my nails!!! (after years of loyalty & money spent!) She refused to accept responsibility for her action or lack there of. She informed me that they had so much business that they didn't need mine! I will never return to that flithy place. They have lost most of their customers from the beginning. The first time I tried Magic Nails for a SNS refill I emphasized that I wanted my nails to look like real nails thus be as thin as possible ( my previous salon was able to do this extremely well ). She seemed annoyed! When she finished with her filing and I asked her to make them a little bit thinner she was REALLY annoyed and told me she would have to charge me extra - for a little more filing down with a drill? Let me start by saying, I am 37 weeks pregnant, with a toddler at home, and this was my last chance to do something for myself before the baby came. I haven't had my nails done in two years and my husband pushed me to treat myself since I've been working so hard lately. I did a shellac pedicure with Julie and she was so sweet and it looked great! I decided to get acrylic nails put on, just simple white tips and the guy who did them, Sam, was SO RUDE. He tried multiple times to talk me into doing Dip which I knew I didn't want. He rushed the whole process, getting up multiple times throughout and walking away, barely talked to me and there is still leftover polish on my nails from when I came in that you can see under the acrylic. He didn't bother to take the time to fix it. When it came time to pay he didn't tell me the total, he just held his hand out for payment and didn't say another word to me. I've been coming here for years now and have spent thousands of dollars at this place. The reason I'm giving a bad review after so long of coming here is because I've had a couple of bad experiences where I wasn't satisfied with the quality of work someone has done on my nails with the nail polish bubbling up and looking horrendous and previously a bad eyelash extension job where they were falling out the next day and looked like I've had them on for two to three weeks already after the first couple of days. I complained to the lady that's always upfront which I wish I knew her name now but both times she has promised me to get them fixed or a discount next time and when I've come in to have it fixed or next time to get my discount it turns into the owner or manager never approved it and I can't get them fixed without paying or can't get a discount. Sadly this will be the last time I'll be coming here. I rather go to a place that values their costumers and is willing to help out when they've had a bad experience, especially when I've been a regular for years and have spent so much money at their salon. I've had many times where I wasn't completely satisfied with the work but it was always good enough to stick it out until next visit to get nails/lashes redone (I am very laid back like that) and have only complained twice as both times where just too bad not to and the owner has shown me both times he completely doesn't care about helping his costumers out, so just be aware when coming here. read more

Worst manicure I have ever gotten! I went in for a shellac manicure and the girl convinced me to try powder. I decided to give it a try, and while I was sitting at her table looking over my new color options she trimmed my cuticles for just 3 fingers then went to go get my new color. When she came back she put the color on (I assumed she would do my cuticles at the end like they sometimes do). She put the color on and was like ok all done! I asked her if she could finish cutting all my cuticles and she said "I already did them", and she continued to argued with me about it. So long story short I paid $43 for new color and 3 nails to be cleaned up. No cuticle trim, no lotion, no hand massage, nothing! When I said I wanted a manicure! This place is crowded, so I'd assume all they care about is the money, not the quality. It's big so I'm sure you could find some people that do a good job, but you run the risk of getting a girl like mine. This is the worst experience I've had for a pedicure... twice. I didn't leave a review the first time because the experience was bad because of other rude,complaining patrons. The second time I took my daughters in for pedicures, they were overpriced and poorly done. I showed them a picture of what I wanted done or close to and was told he couldn't do it without doing shellac (false because I've had it done before at other salons). My person was insulting and thought he was funny and the pedicure priced super high comparatively literally lasted only 20 minutes. Not worth the money at all especially for the treatment. When I arrived I was she had already taken someone else despite me arriving within the grace period window. I used to go to this salon all the time, they were amazing from what I remember. They still are, the workers are amazing and environment is pleasant. I went there for my last set of acrylic nails just a week ago, I really enjoyed my nails but the person who did them made them much longer than I anticipated because "it would look the best". I had no problem with this at first, then when I got home I started having issues. Within the first 48 hours a nail broke completely off, it just peeled right away. It hasn't been long at all, and I now have other nails starting to chip at the top and having bubbles under the nail bed of them, one isn't even on straight. I can completely stick my other nails under the tops of them. It was a good job for the first little bit, but for 60 dollars I shouldn't be having this issue. Mixed feelings on this one ladies. I read pretty positive reviews here on Yelp, and since I live not too far away, and had to be at the Target shopping center and my last pedicure was in serious need of fixing, decided to give this place a try. It's a large nail salon, lots of nail techs, place was hopping. I was immediately ushered to a chair and pedi started. Was not offered a menu of services which was kind of odd as usually they try to up sell, I had to ask for a menu of services. Was feeling in the need of some pedi love, so decided on a pedi with a paraffin wax, sorry, don't recall the name. The nail tech was not exactly friendly. Don't get me wrong, while getting a spa service I don't expect nor want a Chatty Cathy, but a smile goes a long way in making an overall pleasant experience. Place was clean, but when doing the pedi and my feet were in the whirlpool water she dropped the utensils in the water and left them there for awhile, the swirling water kept making them bump up against my feet. Not relaxing. She got up and got the paraffin wax. I have had many, many paraffin wax pedis so know what to expect , she brought the plastic bags and dipped my feet in the wax. Holy Shit, it was hotter the hubs of Hell! "It's good, right?" Ah, "No!" I told her it was really hot, she replied "No, it's okay." No it WAS NOT OKAY, it was too hot! I told her emphatically that it was too hot, and she did pull the bags with the wax away from my feet to allow it to cool. Yea! Thank you. Proceeded to the pedicure. Massage good, and nails at finish look nice, but I only spent about 35 minutes for the whole pedicure, it was quick, quick, quick! Most pedi's I have had last a pampering 45 minutes to an hour. This felt really rushed. I didn't feel special or pampered. She asked me to pay and took my credit card while I was still sitting in the pedi chair. She did tell me I could hang as long as I wanted while my nails dried which was nice. Nice except I then saw her walk out of the salon to the parking lot, I sat there and sat there not knowing where my credit card was. Finally, when I felt my nails were dry I went to the front desk and asked if they had my credit card, thankfully they did, and I paid. Normally the nail tech brings you back your card and thanks you for your patronage. Not here, not for me. End impression: Salon is nice and clean and seems busy and popular. Maybe I came and the tech I had was having an off day, I don't know. My toenails do look nice so no complaints there. However, I did not feel it was relaxing and I did not feel pampered. I have been getting my nails done here, off and on, for a year or so. If you're looking for great service, lotion, or even a mini hand massage, you're looking at the wrong place. This place is really for people who want to get in and out. A month ago I decided to get a pedicure here. The next day one of my big toes was so swollen and hurt to the touch. Later that day, I couldn't take it and went to the doctor. They painfully lifted the skin slightly and let a bunch of puss out. They gave me antibiotics and called it an "ingrown toenail" and sent me on my way. I thought nothing of it. Last week I went for another pedicure and THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED but to the big toe on my other foot. I've gotten acrylics many times so I know the process of putting on the tips and filing, etc. but my lady skipped many of the steps, did a visibly poor paint job and almost all of my tips fell off within a week of getting them done.
