UPDATE: I still love this place. I was able to get my nails fixed for free by Song. She added more coats on every nail. She also said they were too flat and had no flexibility. I have been pretty hard on my nails to see if they'll crack or break and they haven't. I guess it depends on the technician that you get unless you make an appointment. So I just recommend you find someone you like, who is good at doing nails and make appointments with them. read more

Very disappointed in my pedicure. I don't treat myself to them often so was very bummed at how bad my toes look. They look like my toddler could have done a better job painting them. I got shellac on my toes so they were completely dry and cured when I left - so I did not smudge them or mess them up. It's maybe the way the shellac cured that made them look like huge spots were missed. I noticed it a little there but it was a bit dim lighting so didn't realize how bad they looked until I got out and didn't have time to go back to have them fix it. This place is fairly priced and they can take walk ins easily. I've come here several times and they have some very good nail techs. But I will say the older woman that is always there working the front is one of the rudest people you will meet. I think she's the owners mom or something. They should not have her greeting people and answering phones. On multiple occasions I have heard her raise her voice when she talks to people and also hang up on people. She's awful, has no patience and honestly needs to retire or find work not working in customer service. She degrades the entire experience with her bad energy sadly. I was not impressed by this salon. It was extremely busy. I took my three young granddaughters for pedicures . We called ahead and got right in, but they did not have any special chairs or amenities for the children. We got to soak our feet for less than 10 minutes. The youngest one couldn't even reach the tub without nearly standing. She was rushed out of her chair, and her toenails got messed up. I definitely don't recommend taking children there. read more

Very disappointed with the service I received yesterday from this place. I have gone here about few time including the set I currently had on and hadn't had any issues. I have been having allergic reactions ever since I got my acrylic's put back on. My doctor thinks it has to do with products in the nail supply's. I was a walk in yesterday to get them taken off. I am used to ripping them off but figured since they would be off for good why not do it properly and hopefully avoid nail breakage, nail sensitivity, along with figure they would file them a bit and shape them up. As the lady that usually works the front desk was wrapping me up she asked why I was getting them taken off. I explained the story and she quickly got very defensive about how "it's not possible for me to be allergic to nails as it is bonded and sealed before I leave" and continued with "who is your eye doctor". Not only making it a very uncomfortable and unfriendly environment, not even 5 minutes later a nail tech comes and gets my nails unwrapped, drilled down and then tried to pop them off. Using a thin tool pushing on the ends towards the middle. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!! Not to mention VERY painful. I flinch and the tech rewrapped every one. Another 5 minutes of foils and she drilled it down till it looked like it was all gone. I paid, and the lady that originally humiliated me about the situation made a snarky comment of "well hopefully your eyes feel better" and laughed. I walked out fine and told myself I would never be back, until today I noticed the coats of acrylic coming off my nails. So the job wasn't even fully completed!! A waste of $15 and time. Nails done by Don, this was 3 days after. Very Poor quality . I tried to contact the owner and they did not respond. To add to my bad experience I asked for just a polish and he gave me a manicure . I had no clue till the end. I am very disappointed in the fact that they are trying to add more money to the service without me asking they need to tell me that and be more upfront and honest. My daughter just spent a ridiculous amount of money on nails that look horrible. Instead of a natural base the coloring looked like pee and she was treated so rudely by the technician when she asked for changes to the color and shape. I don't know why I keep going back to this place. Not one part of my experience was enjoyable, and it hasn't been the last few times I've been either. My toenails nails look like garbage, and the nail tech was rude and made me feel bad about myself for the state of my nails when I came in. I got a $55 pedicure and I wouldn't have paid more than $25 for. The polish looks like it was done by a 5 year old who has never painted before. I honestly use to love this place. I use to come here for my lashes and nails before moving away. Recently I came back for my nails to get an acrylic fill. Right as I sat down she immediately started filling the acrylic from the top. Absolutely no prep, and didn't even do as much as pushing my cuticles back. Seemed like she was in a really big hurry. I left with a fill that was bumpy considering my cuticles are still there, and nails that lifted at the top after 2 days. A simple step that you do EVERY TIME you do nails. Update: I was in the area and needed to get my nails done for the holidays. I don't know how you can let someone walk out of a cosmetic establishment looking like this with any sort of pride in your work. My fingers are stained red as the tech didn't even take more than ten minutes to do this and was working with two clients at once. I'm interested in their health practices too because nothing was cleaned when I sat down, there were nail clippings still everywhere and the tools came out of a drawer unclean. The more they expand, the worse their service gets. have tried this spot over the past five years and it has just gotten worse over time. They used to be a one-room salon that had impeccable service and did a beautiful job each time I went in.Over the past few years they have expanded into a waxing/lash salon as well, which is fine, however, their nail service has severely declined incrementally as they continue to expand beyond their means. Technicians receive a lot of pressure from management to move fast and push additional services, which has a negative effect on the atmosphere and does not create a relaxing environment. They're more concerned with getting you in and out than giving you a good manicure. The level of service is unacceptable for how much they charge and their prices continue to rise. I will not be going back. The space is cluttered, dirty, and I have never once seen a technician wash their hands between clients. They move too fast to provide any sort of quality service and they simply do not seem to care. read more

Every little thing they add $5-15 , you want your nails round / almond instead of short and square .. boom extra charge. You want sparkle, boom another charge, you want them to trim your cuticles like a normal manicure, another charge. By the time you leave there with a dip manicure you are paying $65-75. This place is has become so inconsistent I likely won't be back, for a $60 pedicure I had expected a not rushed experience and my toes look awful. In addition to that I made an appointment for all three pedicures and someone didn't start my niece until I was almost done with my pedicure but we all ended up being done with the same service at the same time so I assume her pedicure was equally lackluster, to add insult to injury the female manager came over trying to sit some customers together and said to them in front of my niece well it's fine because she's going to move. Waited longer to have a color change than the color change itself which is really not that big an issue as I'd rather have a quick service than a long drawn out one. Cute color selection but messy racks and no rhyme or reason to bottle or color placement. They have complimentary water in bottles which Is a nice touch. Despite being extremely busy they did not rush me out. Polish change toes was well done...needed three coats of 'Show Me Your Tips'. He he Have gone into see Sun now twice for a color change and she is awesome! She takes her time and really cares about the finished product! I went in for a shellac manicure and was talked in to a powder color manicure. I walked out having paid $60+ and all I had was thick, almost acrylic looking nails, with bald spots and color all over my cuticles which she never even worked on. Getting my cuticles done is half the reason I get my nails done. The shop itself was a hot mess... emphasis on the hot! It was 100 degrees outside and they had no air conditioning! I was so hot I thought I was going to pass out. It's not well kept and their polish Wall is full of sticky old bottles. Probably the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Extremely rude staff, dirty, and poor quality. This place is not cheap, but it feels cheap. We got a pedicure and it was the quickest pedicure I ever had. I wore their slip on sandals for about one minute and walked across the salon once and the bottom of them were black. The woman nicked me multiple times and was incredibly rude. My sister got a manicure and there are bubbles all over it and dented. Worst of all- my shoes were right next to me in the pedicure chair and by the end were covered in someone else's dead skin by the end. I asked for wipes and they kindly cleaned my shoes, but I was so grossed out. For almost $200 this salon needs to do better and take pride in their work. read more

Everyone is so friendly, the owner always greets you and there isn't a long wait. It's a bit of a drive for me (45 min) but this is worth it to me with the quality of service and professionalism. This was my first time in but I was directed to a chair to sit in for my pedicure with the water filled and everything, but the problem was I sat there for 30 minutes before someone came and started working on my toes. My feet started pruning so I had them sitting out of the water before someone noticed. My girlfriend was a chair down from me getting her toes done and her technician as well didn't alert anyone that I had not been helped yet until about the same time someone else noticed. When I called on my way over to confirm if they were running on time, no one seemed have a clue when my appointment was. Since I had been waiting since Friday, I was agitated along with the fact my last few appointments were running late up to 20 minutes. Long story short, I was treated rudily, even sneered at and threatened. I guess this company does not appreciate their customers since I gave very generous tips in the past regardless of the wait and the rushed service which was anything but relaxing. There are too many other options. I should also mention years ago I got a horrible infection here requiring medical attention. I thought it was an rare exception, but now I don't think they care. I tried just about every salon in castle rock and finally went here as a girls day outing. Let me tell you, AMAZING. I love Katie for acrylics and even pedicures and pretty much everyone is good at pedicures. I've tried the waxing which is alright but I prefer threading because I always get my skin ripped off wherever I go because my skin is so sensitive. But they shaped them well! I have been going to this salon since freshman year (2009) , today I went to get a pedicure and a full set. I had the worst experience I've ever had. First off I asked for a specific color, 2 coats funny bunny one coat bubble bath. The technicians name was VAN, and she said uh that's too many coats let's just do this color.. which was a light pink, no problem I just said ok, obviously I was bothered considering my sister was getting a full set of the same exact color I wanted and her technician just did it without questioning her. At the end of the service I was going to pay for my nails and my sisters... she told me that "THEY ONLY TAKE CASH TIPS" which in all the years of going there I have never had one of them say that to me. I only had $25 in cash. I told her I have $25 in cash as I did not plan on using cash to pay for the services or the tip to be honest.... I handed her the $25 and she said oh there is an ATM over there so you can get more cash out... this experience made me So uncomfortable and was so awkward, and unprofessional... like why would they only take cash tips? So they wouldn't have to claim them? I just felt so pressured to tip even more than I was already spending. She took the $25 and then said to just tip my sisters technician on the card... so over course I felt bad and just did as she said. I completely regret it. She was so rude and unprofessional it was insane. We spent literally $180 salon charge plus a $15 tip on the card for my sister's technician, and Van took my $25 cash. I cannot begin to explain how upset I am over all of this. I really hope management steps up To make this situation right because this experience today was far past unacceptable. read more

Didn't realize how big this salon was until I walked in and boy it's hugeee. I was kindly greeted and taken back shortly for my lash appointment. I loved the decor of the salon, it's a great place to have a spa date with the girls. My lash appointment took about an hour, and I loved the end result. I was seen by Hanh, who was super sweet and did an amazing job. I also loved how they have an app where you can make your appointments. I came by tonight with a friend for a regular pedicure = $27. Some reviewers complained about how this place is so big and just a factory that pushes people out quickly. In my opinion this is fantastic. We called at 6pm on a Thursday night for a mani and pedi. They said come on by, we'll see you right away. We drove over, walked in, we were greeted by a really friendly guy. He kind of introduced us to two nail people. They were friendly enough and kindly seated us as close together as possible. The place really is BIG and it was busy. But I so appreciate that there were 20+ employees and we got INSTANT service. The reason I dread nail places is because the waiting. There was absolutely no waiting. I will be back for that. My pedicure was good. The place felt clean, but it wasn't immaculate. There were a few nail polish bottles in the cup holder of my pedi chair. Not offered water or tea like most places. My basic pedicure took about 30 minutes. The foot/calf massage was nice and my nails look good, but not excellent (a few smudges on my skin), but nails themselves look good. The manicurist/nail tech was kind, but not chatty (which I am totally good with). A guy came around and sprayed the chairs next to me with cleaning spray. This is a pretty solid salon. It's very clean and professional. I've been here a few times, and the last time I came here was the best nails I have ever gotten done. I showed my tech the design I wanted and they delivered. However, today will be the last time I will return to this salon. A minor reason is I showed my nail tech a photo of what I wanted, but the design she did was not at all what the picture was. Granted, I should have expressed that her design wasn't what I wanted, but I didn't want to inconvenience her.
