Cleanly ended up winning a contract with our building. They were able to provide services within the next few days which we appreciated since our building really needed a cleaning. Only three rooms were cleaned, the kitchen and two of our three bathrooms. I've had house cleaning services over the last 12 years or so, so I feel like I have reasonable expectations based on personal experience working with good cleaners. The kitchen is about 10-12 foot square. While some things were obviously cleaned, the details weren't caught. The half bath is approximately 6x6 feet big, with a toilet, corner shelf and small sink. The countertop was dirty, the items on the countertop that stay out (like the toothbrush holder) were dirty, the lights window and mirror frame weren't dusted, the wall next to the toilet was dirty, and sink and faucet were still dirty. The upstairs bath is a 3/4 bath that's approximately 6x12 foot, with a shower stall, toilet and double sink. Again, the lights and windows weren't dusted, the sink and faucet were dirty. The shower wall was streaky, and the water with the cleaned-away dirt was left pooling on the floor of the shower and had dried there. The office was quick about responding to my initial email and follow-up emails. They offered to come back and redo the rooms we were unhappy with but I preferred not to. I asked if the amount of space that was completed was on par with the normal 6-hours of deep cleaning and they said yes 2-4 rooms were normal. I don't feel like that was a value for the price or reasonable for the amount of time spent. The young ladies who came to our house were absolutely lovely in the few minutes I spoke with them. While this is a negative review, my main issue is not with the ladies who did the cleaning. It really appears that the issues are with training, inspecting, and my expectations not being aligned with those of the company. I hope they'll take this feedback and invest the time in setting their staff up for success.

The rest of the rooms were NOT. There was soap scum not cleaned off on the shampoo holder in the shower, the counter top in one bathroom was not cleaned the full length - maybe it was too far to reach? It was dusty when I checked. What ever was used to clean the bath tub was not rinsed away so there was film on it. There was also film on the counter in the bathroom. The door mirror in the bathroom wasn't cleaned nor was the magnifying mirror. When I asked why the shower door in the lower level bathroom wasn't clean and showed her what I meant, she explained that the door was old and of poor quality and wouldn't clean up well. After she left I used Brasso and a sponge and had it sparkling in a few minutes. We asked her to clean the kitchenette, including the inside of the refrigerator, and she did not clean the refrigerator at all. We also asked her to clean the inside of the cupboards and they were also not cleaned. She does a good job of cleaning the surfaces, but if you need someone to come in a deep clean, this is not the right company for you. What frustrates us the most is that she charged us $150 for two hours of work and we still have to do most of it over ourselves.

Mentioned that he actually misquoted us two times and how could that be. Travis's response was said he does not do business like that. I would try to find a more reputable honest business to work with, not Crystal Clean. Just realized a couple of months later that the original two times Travis washed our windows he must have been giving us contractor pricing since he worked with our home builder. Apparently he did not want to tell us this and that is why his response was so strange after we found out he changed his prices for the 3rd year.
