I contacted Paloma almost a year ago to begin talking with MH to take over our Airbnb. As it turns out I didn't need them right away, but she was really friendly and helpful and we kept the convo warm. Recently I reached out to commit to their services and they did a site visit to review and go over details. The lady I spoke with on the phone said our small studio would be no problem and my cleaning checklist matched the one they use. Then I didn't hear anything back for a week, so I reached out again. I got a form letter saying we weren't a good fit because they didn't feel they could "attend to all our details and specifics." They're super professional and even do quality checks when time allows - where a manager comes to double check everything is perfect. She contacted me and tried to make me feel bad about their review because it's somehow not their fault that they didn't respond to my request. Somehow when customers contact them through their own website it's not her fault if nobody responds to that. I also got signed up for marketing emails automatically without asking. I filled out their web form saying I needed to book in a timely fashion, got an automated reply saying they will get back to me soon. I haven't heard anything after over 2 days, but they already signed me up for their marketing emails... Not impressed. All the other companies I contacted responded. read more

I can't believe how wonderful Magic Helpers is. In the Airbnb world, they are truly life changing - like so many others have said. Things that I love: - Auto-booking is wonderful, but I particularly love that they send consistent reminders, telling me they are coming a few days in advance, reminding me the day before, and then messaging me when they are there, and when they are finished. Takes all the guess work and nervousness out of the cleaning process. - Quality - Mine is a part time Airbnb rental, so I stay here in between. I love coming home to my house and it being so wonderfully clean and welcoming. It lets me feel comfortable that the quality is there. - Responsiveness - I LOVE that I can text / email them and I get a response right away. Life changing? I think so. I was hesitating launching an airbnb space I had because I just didn't have time to make sure it was handled well. I was lucky to find Magic Helpers and this has made all the difference. On the first day, Natalie was able to give me a punch list of what was needed to round out my space (everything a guest would expect). She then helped list it and within two days I had booked out guests for weeks. I was even shocked to see a long term (3 month rental) come through that same week! Since then I have noticed great little touches. For example, a personalised card for a guest coming for an anniversary. I have been incredibly impressed by the Magic Helpers team. They have made our lives much simpler and stress-free. We have been renting out a guesthouse on AirBnB and originally tried using a "full service" company (Turnkey) to handle it. That didn't go well. With MH the turnarounds are taken care of automatically and with high quality and we get to maintain control of who rents our guesthouse. After a few dozen bookings I think we had only one instance where we noticed a turnaround passed through quality control that wasn't quite right. They fixed it ASAP and there have been no issues since. Perfection is impossible, but they have been about as perfect as you can be in the crazy short term rental world. Easiest 5 star rating I can imagine. I am sad to see that someone dinged them with a one-star review because she had to follow up via email after a web form fell through the cracks. OH THE HORROR!!! If something did slip through, I can say that it was probably because MH were working ceaselessly to take care of their commitments with their current customers. read more

Words don't describe what a great job they do for my Airbnb. I left a property management company to manage the house on my own. We love these maids. We first used them for a move out clean and these ladies were so helpful. When they arrived there was still trash left in the house and they worked extra to carry it all out. Based on other reviews and Natalie's quick response, I decided to try Magic Helpers after I had a friend test drive the place to make sure we had the right setup. I had several questions, but Natalie emailed me with answers and was very patient. I set up a first time cleaning and she emailed me when she was on site and gave me a detailed list of things that needed attention. She also came over and did a walk through and gave me a lot of suggestions on how to make the place more comfortable - that was very helpful. The place was super clean and she made it up like a hotel room. I am syncing up my AirBnB calendar with Magic Helpers so she can schedule turn overs when my guests leave so I don't have to schedule.
