It wasn't crowded when we went in the middle of the day on a weekday. The staff were friendly and they offered some great bundling options, plus I noticed their additional fees for using a credit card. We chose to do the back hole courses on this visit. We were each given a ball and got to pick out a putter to use, and a score card. It probably took us less than an hour for two of us and there was no delays, waiting for other groups ahead of us. The course had fun and tricky shots to make but kept us entertained the entire time. The trees gave occasional shade while we went through the course. We will come back to try another course.

The inside arcade by the entrance.

We went here to play on a sunny Saturday as I had never been and was pleasantly surprised. They have three different courses to choose from, two 19-hole courses and one 28-hole. For two players, it is $13pp for 19-hole but if use a credit card it is $13.50pp. The courses are pretty simple so it is a leisurely game to play and socialize. It's a great place for young kids and therefore a nice family outing. There is also a patio with lots of tables to enjoy a picnic. Inside, there are video games, pinball machines and air hockey. We plan to go back again to play one of the other two courses.

Went put puttin here for the first time and loved it! I can't remember how many holes we did but it was the long one. The course is well kept and so vintage! Made me happy being there! I loved all the different challenges. I love that the course is outside. Such a great summer activity. Price is fair. I can't wait to go back and try another set of holes. Inside there are snacks and an arcade. So many options for activities for the day. Awesome to have a family friendly establishment like this in Reno

Magic Carpet Golf is a great place to go with friends or family to play mini golf. We stopped in a couple of weekends ago and had a great time! They have 3 different options of courses or you could do multiple for a discount. Each hole brought a new and fun challenge. We did the 19 hole course - the one in the middle and it took us about an hour. There was a ton of shade making it cool on the full course, which was nice on a hot day. They have arcade games inside too. We didn't play any but they looked fun! We'll be back in the future for sure to try the other courses!

One of my favorite decorations from the "28 hole" course. Cowboy worm!

Magic Carpet Golf is a much bigger mini golf course than the view from the parking lot would lead you to believe. There is actually 3 courses here, two "19 hole" & one "28 hole". The last holes (19 & 28) are actually a lotto machine inside that spins for the chance at a free play. I thought this was especially cute since most other places I've been it's just a ball collector. The decorations on the courses are fairly unique and include quite a few dinosaurs (I'm sure kids LOVE these)! Multiple of the holes throughout the 3 courses involve moving parts (my personal favorite). Water fixtures here were very clean during my visit, even the ones that were drained at the time. There are a handful of arcade games in the main lobby, and a counter serving Italian ice style treats. The bathroom was updated looking and very clean also. Overall this seems like a well kept little gem. I don't live in the area but definitely plan to work this into my future Reno visits!

We had such a fun time here! We played 18 holes, and it was a reasonable $11. The course was very clean and well maintained. We plan to come back and play another 18 holes on the other course next time.

So much fun for a decent price. All of the holes are in good shape and operating properly. Lots of laughs on a Summer day with family.

The burger sliders were just that, sliders, but the sauced and dry rubbed wings were great! The rest of our party ordered the pretzel board, pizza, and more wings, which were seemingly good. After one night of our stay we were out and received an email at 5 pm stating we were to have checked out that earlier day and since we hadn't they put all of our things into bags and it could be picked up at the front desk. We immediately called and were told the same thing, we explained that our confirmation had two nights and they said that's not what their system says and to come back to the hotel. Ten minutes later, it was the same deal. Courtyard said they were full and had no rooms for us. Because of this issue we missed out on the holiday evening plans we had and lost money on a deposit for our dinner reservation. Still working with this hotel location and Corporate for Courtyard trying to get compensation without success. That's no way to do business for $220 a night. The water pressure in the shower was perfect as was the temperature of the water after I adjusted it. The walls were thick so I could not hear the occupants next door, which is a common issue I have encountered during stays at other hotels. My only complaint about the room itself was that I discovered a creepy looking spider on the curtains on the very first night - it really freaked me out. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast i had at the restaurant on the first floor. I believe it was called the Bistro. Anyway, I had scrambled eggs, sausages, and sourdough toast. The sausages were particularly good. They were juicy and had a nice sear to them. The front office staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. There was just one thing that fell below my expectations and it came at the end of my stay. When I checked out, they did not give me a hotel receipt. The woman at the front desk told me that the receipt would be emailed to me. Later in the day, I called the hotel since I had not received my receipt. The hotel employee advised me that I would receive it in 24-48 hours. Well, after 48 hours, I still didn't have my receipt so I had to call again to get it. Shouldn't be this complicated to send me a receipt.
