The inside arcade by the entrance.

We went here to play on a sunny Saturday as I had never been and was pleasantly surprised. They have three different courses to choose from, two 19-hole courses and one 28-hole. For two players, it is $13pp for 19-hole but if use a credit card it is $13.50pp. The courses are pretty simple so it is a leisurely game to play and socialize. It's a great place for young kids and therefore a nice family outing. There is also a patio with lots of tables to enjoy a picnic. Inside, there are video games, pinball machines and air hockey. We plan to go back again to play one of the other two courses.

Went put puttin here for the first time and loved it! I can't remember how many holes we did but it was the long one. The course is well kept and so vintage! Made me happy being there! I loved all the different challenges. I love that the course is outside. Such a great summer activity. Price is fair. I can't wait to go back and try another set of holes. Inside there are snacks and an arcade. So many options for activities for the day. Awesome to have a family friendly establishment like this in Reno

Magic Carpet Golf is a great place to go with friends or family to play mini golf. We stopped in a couple of weekends ago and had a great time! They have 3 different options of courses or you could do multiple for a discount. Each hole brought a new and fun challenge. We did the 19 hole course - the one in the middle and it took us about an hour. There was a ton of shade making it cool on the full course, which was nice on a hot day. They have arcade games inside too. We didn't play any but they looked fun! We'll be back in the future for sure to try the other courses!

One of my favorite decorations from the "28 hole" course. Cowboy worm!

Magic Carpet Golf is a much bigger mini golf course than the view from the parking lot would lead you to believe. There is actually 3 courses here, two "19 hole" & one "28 hole". The last holes (19 & 28) are actually a lotto machine inside that spins for the chance at a free play. I thought this was especially cute since most other places I've been it's just a ball collector. The decorations on the courses are fairly unique and include quite a few dinosaurs (I'm sure kids LOVE these)! Multiple of the holes throughout the 3 courses involve moving parts (my personal favorite). Water fixtures here were very clean during my visit, even the ones that were drained at the time. There are a handful of arcade games in the main lobby, and a counter serving Italian ice style treats. The bathroom was updated looking and very clean also. Overall this seems like a well kept little gem. I don't live in the area but definitely plan to work this into my future Reno visits!

We had such a fun time here! We played 18 holes, and it was a reasonable $11. The course was very clean and well maintained. We plan to come back and play another 18 holes on the other course next time.

It was super fun for a kid. But it needs a lot of repairs and it needs more shade. Other than that it was nice and I'd go again!

It's only $3 a game per person! Now we're talking! We had 4 people and one game each was perfect for $12. You don't need bowling shoes, there is barely an approach. It was super fun! They had many specials such as street tacos $3, Modelo draft beer $4 and Margaritas $5. We had the Supreme flatbread for $14 and it was good. My Friend ordered the charcuterie board for $24. I really loved the sausage and the display was presented in a giant pretzel. I love the couches for trivia so nice and comfortable! The staff preferred not to have a photo so I respected their wishes. The building is huge with no one In it, which makes me sad! The water pressure in the shower was perfect as was the temperature of the water after I adjusted it. The walls were thick so I could not hear the occupants next door, which is a common issue I have encountered during stays at other hotels. My only complaint about the room itself was that I discovered a creepy looking spider on the curtains on the very first night - it really freaked me out. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast i had at the restaurant on the first floor. I believe it was called the Bistro. Anyway, I had scrambled eggs, sausages, and sourdough toast. The sausages were particularly good. They were juicy and had a nice sear to them. The front office staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. There was just one thing that fell below my expectations and it came at the end of my stay. When I checked out, they did not give me a hotel receipt. The woman at the front desk told me that the receipt would be emailed to me. Later in the day, I called the hotel since I had not received my receipt. The hotel employee advised me that I would receive it in 24-48 hours. Well, after 48 hours, I still didn't have my receipt so I had to call again to get it. Shouldn't be this complicated to send me a receipt.

One little negative is that it's located right by the highway so try to ask for a room facing the shopping center, otherwise you will hear the cars. As far as the games go, they're all working but the place just feels tired a bit old and rundown. They don't offer a system where they're unlimited play cards include ticket games, but do not reward tickets so the selection of games available to the kids at the party was fairly limited as a result which bothered me, but of course didn't bother the kids who were just happy to continue swiping and playing. That said they do offer some games here that are not typically included in other arcades in town like the Minecraft game which spits out super cool cards and certainly captivated the kids for quite some time. The party room was large but parsley appointed in terms of decorations and really didn't offer much in terms of seeming or decor. There's truly a DIY situation and thankfully, we came with a couple of decorations to put up to make it feel more festive. One of the pizzas included in the party arrived squished in one corner and the supervisor was quick with the solution. Unfortunately, they couldn't remake the pizza which I'm not really sure why, but instead he offered additional cards that the kids could use to play the Midway games downstairs, which ended up being a huge hit. The birthday party deal is a great value to be honest. Works out to around 25 bucks a kid minimum of 10 and it includes pizza and unlimited soda plus a two hour arcade card and $15 to use on the midway or the games with redemption prizes. We ended up adding a $100 card to our party so that we could have the kids play some additional Midway games and that really did extend the fun quite a bit. Midway games are about to six dollars per play, so it does actually go a little ways. If you're staying at Circus Circus, the XP arcade is a fun stop over but if you're from the area, I personally wouldn't say this is the one to come to. That said if you wanna play the midway, you really can't do that anywhere else and it is super fun, especially rewarding when you win a prize. We'll certainly recommend this birthday party option to friends.

We arrived a little before 12 pm and were greeted by an employee. For the golf course selection, there are 3 options to choose from (but one course was currently closed). We ended up choosing to do the castle course, which has 28 holes. I had cash in my purse so we paid for a smaller discount of $20 per person. If you pay credit card, it would have been $20.60 per person (I am assuming for the credit card fee?). We were given our clubs and 2 colored golf balls. And the employee who checked us in had told us that there is a hole where the mill is not working. The motor to power it is not working but that we can slowly pushing it towards where she is and it should work. The castle themed course is very cute and we really enjoyed seeing each hole, which some of them were really challenging. Some of the holes were also really well constructed and decorated, including the one with a ship and a giant goldfish. We golfed here for about an hour. And I am happy to say that I ended up with the smaller amount of strokes (just by a margin though). Although this course has 28 holes, you only golf with 27 holes. And then for the last one, you come back inside where you paid for your admission and put it in one of two machines. I placed my golf ball into what looks like a plinko style game (which reminds me of The Price Is Right show). But I don't know if I was supposed to try to win something or not or just to watch it make it's way down to one of three holes. And then my husband placed his ball in the other machine that looks like a slot machine. Overall, we had a great time and am glad we were able to make it out here.
