I recently went to I Smash at the Legends Mall in Sparks with my daughter. We chose to Axe throw for an hour. We had an an absolute blast! I've done axe throwing before but this was a whole new level of fun! It's crazy how much enjoyment you can get from tossing an axe at a target! There were so many different screens to choose from which kept things exciting. My favorite one was definitely the "Date Night" screen and "Hunting". Both were hilarious and a lot of fun! They also offer other cool activities like splash painting and smashing items. Just a heads up - - make sure to wear closed toe shoes ( they're required.) Certainly fun & worth it. We went to a birthday party at iSmash and my kids both said it was the best birthday party they've ever been to. So much fun, from the smash zone to the paint room and everything in between. We spent a couple of hours here on Wednesday night for a Yelp Elite event. We knew we'd return, but the very next night? Couldn't be helped. We're hooked. This time we met friends and co-workers that come here often. We learned more about the facility and had an equally great time. The original reason we came back was to pound the hell out of some electronics. That never happened. We were supposed to have done two events, all together. What happened was the women went splatter painting and the men gravitated to the axe throwing pits. How Neanderthal. No alcohol. Not an issue for me, I throw better sober. I was making quite the impression back east in a couple of corporate events. Tonight was my opportunity to shine here in the west. Of course you'll come to have fun and try something different. Bringing friends is a must. If you are new the staff will guide you. I've heard there's a video, but I've never seen it. Someone had a Groupon which reduced the price. First time I've ever been to the iSmash house I was not disappointed it was so much fun I did not expect this much fun. We started out with introductions met a bunch of new yelpers which was awesome and then we started out with the ax throwing had so much fun with this I was very surprised I was pretty good then we moved over to the video on the paint room the paint that was also great fun came out with a really cool painting Splish Splash then we were treated to a delicious BJ barbecue ribs chicken beans rice bread they did a great job. Definitely I need to take my grandkids in there and they would have such a great time if you haven't been in you need to go you'll be so surprised how much fun it is, no matter how old you are from young to old you have a great time it is lots of fun. Such a great place to come and experience multiple things! I only did the paint splatter and axe throwing but am looking forward to coming back for the smash room. Splatter paint: I enjoyed this the most! I surprised myself on how much I was enjoying getting messy. The neon paint and black lights really took the experience up a notch. They also have a Bluetooth speaker you can hook your phone up to so you can listen to your choice of music. That was a nice touch! Axe throwing: they have a few bays set up for this and you can have multiple people in one bay. I really liked that they had different games that you could display and throw your axe at (zombies, Christmas tree etc.). I really would have enjoyed this more IF it worked properly. The boards were pretty beat up and our axes wouldn't stick.. hence the game would mess up and the friendly employees would have to come reset it all. I saw this happening with a few others as well. I've passed by this place so many times and had no clue it existed. I went looking for an activity for a date night and ran across a groupon for splatter paint. We've never tried it before so we gave it a try. We went with the shorter time frame which worked out well. We opted for a few ad ons like the poncho protection and extra paint. There was more than enough for us to cover both of our canvases and then some. We also heard another couple going to town in the smash room. They also had axe throwing available as well. So if you want to splatter some paint on a canvas jackson pollack style, break stuff or practice your axe throwing survival skills, give them a go! read more

What's a better idea a date night on Valentine's day? We took a chance of trying something new for our date idea and booked a standard room to see how much damage we can do. Making a reservation online is definitely recommended in case of busy nights during the weekends or holidays. We just had to wait about 15 minutes or so to clear out the rooms after other guests and the lobby wasn't too crowded. The staff were nice and helpful as they checked us in then got us ready with protective wear (glasses, face shields and gloves) as we went into another room to watch the safety/how to video. Our room came with two buckets of dishes and glassware along with a few flatscreen computers monitors and keyboards. The bluetooth to connect music to was a nice touch along with a little drawer to keep your stuff in. There were a few choices of what to smash with on the wall by the door like a baseball bat, mallets, and crowbars. We added two additional pieces to smash which were the Valentine powder and glitter bombs (these were just in glass bottles). The activity was fun throwing and smashing things on the platform and the wall. Be mindful of the glass and plastic splatters because it will get everywhere which made me feel like the room could need a built in shield so stuff will only hit you. If you get the glass bottle bomb with the powder keep in mind it will get on your clothes as well as everything in the room. When we were done with breaking everything we could, we made sure to dust and shake off anything that may have gotten on our shoes, in our hair and clothes. When we were done we went back into the first room to drop off our gear. The overall experience was fun and exciting to try. They also have axe throwing and a paint room that could be a fun group activity for work, birthdays and holidays. read more

This was a fun date night activity. This facility has smash rooms, splatter rooms and axe throwing. Very different. We did the standard splatter room and my husband paid for extra paint as well as the protective gear. You can blue tooth your music on a speaker. The room is right next to the smash rooms so it is loud but just turn the music up. We received 2 canvases and about 20 minutes to splatter. Great time :) read more
